Thought I would make a thread for those due in March 2027, I joined a thread for my previous rainbow pregnancy in 2022 and I found it so helpful. I found out this week that I am pregnant with my second rainbow baby, after losing my first baby at 29 weeks. I am feeling incredibly anxious, more so than in my first pregnancy after my loss. Wishing everyone a smooth pregnancy ahead 🤞🏼

Yes I’m exhausted I was asleep from 8:30 last night 🤣 hoping your scan goes well tomorrow & your baby has grew nicely 🫶🏻 I felt disappointed with my first scan because I expected to see more from thinking I was further from going off my period dates. I’ve had so much cramping which I didn’t even realise was a pregnancy symptom! Keep us updated on your scan tomorrow 💛💛

Haha the exhaustion is so real. My boyfriend excitedly asked if I wanted to watch the Hobbit the other night and I was like dude it's 7.15pm, are you quite insane?

I've not had much cramps since the beginning but my whole pelvic region is generally achy now which makes me spin like a bloody rotisserie chicken at night, between pee breaks of course 😴

Scan is next Saturday, so it's 1 more week of nail biting to go. Will definitely update once I have news X

Hopefulmama21 · 07/08/2026 15:33

When does the absolute exhaustion of the first trimester end? I am so tired it's unbearable (10+1), feeling so unproductive and have no energy to play with the youngest, do any cooking or laundry. I'm literally finishing work at 5, doing the childcare pick up and then holding out till 6pm when DP gets home so I can collapse in bed 😩

I’m 9w1d and similarly exhausted. Took a two hour nap with the toddler yesterday. I think it does get better at around 14 weeks, from memory…

Hi everyone! Hope you don’t mind me joining. Im not sure of my dates, ive only had one cycle since my daughter (she’s 13 months). I think im due end of March, could be 1st of April. Haven’t had a scan yet so not sure. Hope you are all doing well

AutumnBabyWinterMummy · 09/08/2026 20:18

Please can I join. I was on here last in a 2020 group and it was so helpful with my first. I’m due March on Good Friday. Very nervous as prior to this have had 2 MMC at very similar time to where I am now.
Scan booked on Thursday but had a scan already at 6 weeks and there was a heartbeat so just hoping all fine this time 💕

SilverSprings510 · 10/08/2026 09:10

Welcome @JustTiffany and @AutumnBabyWinterMummy

I have an early scan booked this morning. Never had one with my first so I’m nervous!

AutumnBabyWinterMummy · 10/08/2026 10:12

@SilverSprings510ahh 🤞 it’s exciting! How many weeks are you?

SilverSprings510 · 10/08/2026 11:04

@AutumnBabyWinterMummy 7 weeks - I’ve had
spotting though so it’s to check on that

Best of luck for the scan! 🤗I'm 7 weeks tomorrow and have an early one booked on Weds.. the nausea is something else this week. Personally I think it should be illegal to work full-time in 1st trimester 🤒😓

I second the motion. Though I’m nine weeks now and sheer exhaustion has taken over from nausea…

SilverSprings510 · 10/08/2026 12:26

Baby is absolutely fine so feeling much better now. I’m 7+2 with DC2, main symptom for me has been the exhaustion! But DC1 is nearly three and has no interest in rest and relaxation 🫠

That’s fab news!! Mine is on Wednesday (7+2) and I’m bricking it 😅😅

Hi guys, hope you are all well this morning, bit iffy myself so I'm distracting myself by throwing a wee introduction 😅

I'm 31 and a first timer, Lmp has my due date as 12th March, reassurance scan at 7+2 said I was only 6+1 and has me due on 21st, so who knows...

Not sure if anyone else had a scary 1st scan that showed them a good chunk behind (I was expecting a heartbeat and saw only a yolk sac 😩). I was convinced it had stopped developing but it's been 11 days since that scan, my symptoms haven't really plateaued and no bleeding. So I'm uhm, nauseously optimistic?

Another scan booked for next Saturday to check for growth🤞x

Edited

Hello! Similarly, I thought I was 7 weeks when I went for a reassurance scan but they put me at 5wk 6days... I had a complete meltdown afterwards! We were really lucky we saw a heartbeat.

After that I felt the same as you and also didn't believe there was a baby in there so we went for another scan two weeks later and baby was measuring 4 days later and had grown loads 🎉

The sonographer had to use 4D because the baby was scrunched up so much the picture looked rubbish 🤭 In wondering if that's why they measured behind last time. I feel very grateful I could get another scan as it really reassured me. I hope you get the same result!

novamama · 14/08/2026 14:09

Hello again ladies, I have read the few messages back and I see that we are all exhausted. That’s so reassuring to hear because although I do well in the day, the last couple of weeks I’ve been falling asleep at the same time as my toddler at about 8:30pm, sleeping for almost 10h/night!!! That’s just insane to me. My poor hubby keeping the house together and I barely contribute at the moment at house tasks since I’m out so early …

toomanystrawberries · 15/08/2026 19:01

How did it go @NMac25?

One of mine was just yolk sack thing (can’t remember official terms as I’m tired) but went back couple of weeks later and all was fine and measuring only a couple of days behind.

2 year old is still napping and can only convince 3 year old to nap occasionally so I can’t always go for a sleep. I’m shattered but had ridiculous insomnia last night which is unusual. Just so tired and can’t sleep properly 😭😭 Its taking me literally hours to do simple chores. I feel so impossibly tired (more tired than previous pregnancies, I’m sure) but iron etc is normal… i don’t feel normal 😭😭
Have nhs scan at the end of august but i may go for a private one just before. Hope all is well in there!
Going to treat myself to some stretchy trousers!

Hey @toomanystrawberries

Didn't go well 😩
She was fairly sure it was not going to develop further, epu going to call so NHS can confirm themselves. We're pretty heartbroken 💔

37andcounting1 · 17/08/2026 08:31

Hi everyone, I hope you don't mind me joining late. I'm 7+6 today, this will be my 3rd baby. We've had an early private scan which showed everything was progressing as expected, but I'm twitchy until we get to the 12 week scan. My main symptoms are day tiredness with night insomnia (make it make sense).

Hope everyone is doing ok @NMac25 sorry to read your news above, and hope you're being well supported and cared for.

Hi @37andcounting1 - we're due date twins! 7+6 today too and feeling like I've been hit by a bus. FTM & first pregnancy here.

Has anyone else got a splitting headache? Between that & the nausea, it's a 'work from sofa' kind of day for me today. Dreading going to London for meetings tomorrow ugh

Aw exciting! I've not made my due date with either of my first two, both actually born the month preceeding their due date month so intrigued to see what this one does. I'm a little anxious as my symptoms haven't felt that strong this time round but hoping everything is ticking on OK in there.

I had headaches a lot in my 2nd pregnancy and found sleep, eye masks and those forehead strips a real help. Not envying the trip to London at all though, would say nausea bands really helped me on travel days and keeping hydrated took the edge off

toomanystrawberries · 17/08/2026 18:35

That’s crap news @NMac25Sorry about the outcome, hope you have a great support network around you

toomanystrawberries · 17/08/2026 18:38

How old are your other two @37andcounting1?

@greenshirt06
I had head
aches in two previous pregnancies but weirdly not in this one. I can only say that paracetamol worked 😬

Do twins run in your family? How exciting, double babies!!

Ive got an almost 6 year old and 2 year old, one of each so this one is our tiebreaker. Sorry I've missed so many conversations do you have older children too @toomanystrawberries
