I’m really off food too! No nausea or sickness but just not feeling hungry or fancying food. I’m trying track how many calories I’m eating to make sure I’m getting reasonably close to 2000 a day. Normally I have a good appetite so this is really unlike me.

PhoenixSTL · 23/04/2026 20:12

@Ncl31 I'm sorry, I can understand why you're getting anxious. I think the symptoms do go up and down. Be kind to yourself and take things one day at a time.

rach971 · 23/04/2026 21:39

@Ncl31 Totally with you on the anxiety front

Desperatelyseekingme · 23/04/2026 21:59

@Ncl31 same boat with the anxiety, feel a total decrease in symptoms today and had a bit of lower back pain too.. i have been trying to hard to stay calm but totally spiralled today x

Ncl31 · 24/04/2026 06:04

@rach971 @Desperatelyseekingme I’m sorry you’re both anxious too.
it is just such an awful feeling. We’re going camping for the weekend when DH gets home from work, I’m tempted to book a private scan before we go just to settle my anxiety

@Ncl31 I think I had about 4 in my last pregnancy šŸ™ˆ My partner has booked one in for around 9 weeks but I've asked him to not tell me the date until a day or two before. If I have a date for something like that and I know when it's happening, I worry. I'll be thinking about it and the what ifs, whereas somehow if I don't have the date, I don't really think too much about it

PhoenixSTL · 24/04/2026 07:47

@Ncl31 if you think a private scan will help ease your anxieties, then go for it 😊

I'm going camping next weekend as well. Not looking forward to needing to make the loo trip in the middle of the night...

I've also reached my next milestone today. I'm 8 weeks today, and feeling incredibly grateful so far. On my last pregnancy, I started spotting when I turned 8 weeks, and it was the start of my miscarriage. So anxieties are getting a little high this week, but I'm keeping all my fingers crossed.

Ncl31 · 24/04/2026 11:17

I’m feeling a lot more nauseous again at the moment so that seems to have settled the anxiety.
its so difficult managing the anxiety, I’m going to hold off with the scan at the moment. I really don’t want to fuel the anxiety and rely on scans.

@PhoenixSTL Im 8 weeks today too ā˜ŗļø

The MW struggled to get my bloods on Tuesday so booked me in with a colleague today, two MWs and a phlebotomist later and they’ve still not been able to get any blood from me šŸ˜– been sent home to drink as much as possible to try again at 2pm.

PhoenixSTL · 24/04/2026 12:42

@33Carr oh gosh, do you normally have trouble with blood tests? I hate needles, so that would stress me out so much šŸ˜… and yay for the 8 week club!

@Ncl31 glad to hear you're feeling a bit more reassured today. Hope you can focus on a good camping weekend now.

33Carr · 24/04/2026 12:47

@PhoenixSTL Yeah unfortunately I am normally a tricky customer but not this bad!!

Looks like it’s going to be a gorgeous weekend for those off camping ā˜€ļøšŸ˜Ž

Moominmamato3 · 24/04/2026 13:23

Hi all ~ sorry to hear about those feeling anxious.

I had to drop our eldest off for his school expedition this morning. 3.5 hours in the car with a recovering UTI and pregnancy bladder was an experience I don’t want to repeat.

Alwaysgrowing · 24/04/2026 13:49

@33Carr good luck with the next bloods. ask if they have anyone who can do it under ultrasound,

hollyhocks2 · 24/04/2026 14:40

I’ve been quiet this week but just read through and caught up. DD has chicken pox and I haven’t had it so that has been incredibly stressful. I am waiting for blood test results to see if I’m immune or not. I also had my 8 week scan yesterday and measuring exactly 8 weeks and all is good, which is a huge milestone for me as the previous 3 pregnancies have not made it this far along. So overall happy but also nervous about test results and don’t know how long they are going to take.

Well done for others reaching milestones and coping with awful symptoms, and sympathy to those feeling anxious. It’s very tough going. Hope people can get support wherever they can.

mamatotwo98 · 24/04/2026 14:48

Hi ladies

hope I’m okay to join! Just got my BFP a couple of days ago with my due date being NYE!

This will be my third baby šŸ‘¶šŸ¼ I have a 4 year old and almost 2 year old.

I still suffer horrendously with the first trimester anxiety as have had a MMC before but it’s so lovely to join these kind of groups for support!

sending healthy vibes to all of you and your babies x

33Carr · 24/04/2026 14:57

@Alwaysgrowing Thanks, they got them no problem this time so will always book an afternoon appointment in future so I can fill myself in water before hand!

@Moominmamato3 thats a long time in a car as it is neber mind the added bonuses šŸ˜– how long is your eldest away for?

@hollyhocks2 congrats on the scan! Must have been a lovely feeling, wishing you all the best for the test results.

Congratulations @mamatotwo98 I have a 4 year old and 2 year old also ā˜ŗļø they will be 5 & 3 by December

Niftymum88 · 24/04/2026 16:39

5 weeks today
anyone got any cures for migraines?
never had them before and never had headaches with my other pregnancies.
this one is knocking me out.

Moominmamato3 · 24/04/2026 17:13

@33Carr only until Sunday, he is doing his Duke of Edinburgh, luckily they got good weather.

@Niftymum88 migraines are the worst. If you can a cold wet flannel over your eyes and forehead while lying down in a dark room usually helps me. I find it’s best to just try and get to sleep as quick as possible till it passes.

i went to the doctors yesterday because I was so sick and the room was spinning since Tuesday.
said I have labyrinthitis- like vertigo.
the dizziness isn’t as bad but my head is banging.

Alwaysgrowing · 24/04/2026 19:53

@Niftymum88 I had migraines with my first pregnancy but later on. Then I had one earlier this year, not when pregnant. Lieing down with a flannel helped. As did ibuprofen, which you can't take when pregnant. Really struggled with that with my first. Is the infection treatable with antibiotics?

No they’ve not given me anything just some anti sickness tablets.
but I feel dreadful

mamatotwo98 · 25/04/2026 12:43

Hi! Sorry to ask but I’m just wondering if anyone has been in a similar position with the clear blue digital tests. I am on 1-2 weeks at 4 weeks 3 days (may have ovulated slightly later) and thought it may have gone up by now. My test lines look strong as far as I can tell but I can’t deny that the digital is making me anxious! Did anyone else have similar if you’re a bit further down the line? X

Hi, yes I've been spending a fortune on these tests because they have been making me anxious too! Mine turned to 2-3 at 4 weeks 6 days. I googled about them and they're pretty notorious for making people panic. Hope this helps xx

Ncl31 · 25/04/2026 16:03

@mamatotwo98 @Katy86 the clearblue weeks tests are notorious for not being accurate. Try not to let them worry you

Did a private scan last week measured at 7w+4 days. Something felt off this week and I did another scan. Miscarriage at 7w+5 days.

Good luck to all the December babies. Wishing you all the best.

I’m devastated and can’t get a hold of the baby daddy.
