I'm 11 weeks today and I'm being sick every morning and then the nausea comes and goes in waves throughout the day. I am incredibly grateful to be pregnant and the symptoms are making it feel more real after 4 years of trying (2 rounds of IVF) but just out of interest, I know everyone is different but when did this ease?

At about 14 weeks….was then replaced with hideous reflux…..!!!

FrostedFlowers · 02/01/2026 14:38

4 kids never had any

KhakiAnt · 02/01/2026 14:39

I had awful pregnancy sickness from weeks 6 to 16. Not long now hopefully for you, it’s horrible, I feel for you.

WhatMummyMakesSheEats · 02/01/2026 14:41

I think it started to ease about 14 weeks and fully gone by about 16 I think

Thanks all, I'm reminding myself I can cope with it as long as baby is all healthy, it would just be nice if it eased abit 😂

Found out I was pregnant as nauseous at 4 weeks 😭.

I had awful nausea from week 4 to 14, lost 10kg in weight. Food aversion remained until week 25. Had an period of nausea and food aversion from week 28-32 then got better again. It wasn't until I was over 30 weeks that I finally weighed more than I did at my booking appointment and weighed less when I came home after my EMCS than before I got pregnant.

Please don’t comment this on someone’s post about morning sickness. When you have awful sickness you don’t want to hear strangers pipe in that they never had any lol

I’m 12 weeks tomorrow and still struggling with it! Went at 13 weeks with my DS xx

Maybeishouldcrochet · 02/01/2026 16:12

After birth. Sorry....

EstoyRobandoSuCasa · 02/01/2026 16:13

16 or 17 weeks.

Tiree1965 · 02/01/2026 16:14

When I had my daughter, I threw up literally every day I was pregnant.

Jok77 · 02/01/2026 18:36

I had an IVF baby and had hyperemesis gravidarum. Nausea started at 7 weeks, sickness at 8 weeks. Sick morning, noon and night. Went onto meditation at 12 weeks, nausea continued but sickness stopped until doc took me off medication at 6 months. Started being sick again a week later. Back on meditation until 38 weeks. Then sick in labour and it ended when he was born. But I had a very healthy, almost 9lb baby.
If youre struggling, go and see your doctor. Phenergan really helped.

Growlybear83 · 02/01/2026 18:46

My morning sickness stopped when I went into labour.

brightbevs · 02/01/2026 18:52

12 weeks with baby number one (all day nausea but only occasional vomiting)

17/18 weeks with baby number two (vomiting up to 10 times a day before Xonvea, once or twice a day once on the meds)

cotedazur28 · 02/01/2026 19:00

Unfortunately I was another of those who had it from 6 wks to the day I gave birth with both DDs. Some days I was vomiting 7 or 8 times a day. It was relentless. I tried medication with DD1 but it didn’t help so I had to get on with it. DD1 is 23 and DD2 is 21 so this wasn’t recently.
If it’s awful seek advice about medication as it should be better now than back then.

Mjhope · 02/01/2026 19:09

After birth, it was awful. Take the drugs offered. Ondansetron worked best for me but you can't get it until after 20 weeks... So if it persists hang on and know there is something out there to take the edge off

Cookie105 · 02/01/2026 19:33

Until I had the baby sorry to say lol

Neurodiversitydoctor · 02/01/2026 19:35

Like others around 13/14 weeks

Redactioned · 02/01/2026 19:39

22-24 weeks. Vomited 8+ times a day until that point in first two pregnancies, slightly less in the third (thank you Xonvea). I really feel for you. I remember that I knew where all the drains and bins were on the 6 minute walk to nursery. Ugh. The plus side, IME, has been that the actual baby bit has been a breeze each time because nothing is as bad as “morning sickness”.

HandsomeJack · 02/01/2026 19:39

27 weeks. It was rough. But It seems I was very unlucky so I wish you the best!

AmberRose26 · 02/01/2026 19:52

From 7 weeks -10 and half weeks , now 14 weeks and only get slight nausea feeling now and then but I still gag when I brush my teeth?! If it’s really bad you can see your GP they can give you a tablet to take to ease symptoms, hope you are ok and it’s eases soon for you!

Cupboarddoorknob · 02/01/2026 19:52

Managed to come off medication 20-22 weeks

wornoutjeans · 02/01/2026 19:54

2 weeks after giving birth ! I had horrendous hg and I thought when I gave birth I’d be fine, but must of been pregnancy hormones still in my system

lucya66 · 02/01/2026 19:56

Sick everyday week 4-20 I think. Horrible.
