Hey folks. Thought I’d set up a thread for those expecting in September next year. I got my bfp yesterday at 10dpo on Christmas Day 🄹. I think my due date would be around 6th September. It would be nice to keep in touch with some ladies going through similar things. Xxx

OrangeTrees7 · 15/01/2026 21:12

Hi all, jumping on! 4+5 today, EDD 20th of September. I had 2 MMC, May and November, so fingers crossed. What timing though went for bloods this week for a recurrent miscarriage clinic. I’ll ring the EPU Tomorrow hopefully for
progesterone and early scans

ForFairScroller · 16/01/2026 08:00

Morning all! Joining but I'll be honest I have absolutely no clue how far I am. My LMP was 16th December but was a week late, based on that I'm 4+3 but really don't think I am. My app originally plotted out my ovulation for 8th Jan and then it all changed its mind around 6th Jan and said I'd ovulated on 31st December. I got a faint BFP on an early detection on Monday, but negatives prior to that, and it's now being picked up on standard tests but the lines haven't got any darker since Monday. A clear blue dating test yesterday put me at 1-2 weeks. At this point I could be due anywhere between 22nd September and 1st October šŸ˜…. Third pregnancy, my other 2 were immediate dark lines as early as 7dpo but I knew my cycles then, so feeling totally confused with this one! Hoping the lack of change of lines isn't a bad sign. Fingers crossed for sticky beans for you all! šŸ¤žšŸ»

Is anybody going to to be entering the realms of 2 under 2 (please somebody šŸ˜‚)

I have two children already my son is 11 and my daughter is 7 months! Due to go back to work in February 😐 looking forward to the close bond between my youngest two but also not sure I’m ready for the first year or two šŸ¤ÆšŸ˜‚

I also have a 7 month old and will be rocking in a corner with you šŸ˜‚
There is a 19 month age gap with my oldest 2, they are now teenagers but still have an amazing bond. It was the good kind of chaos when they were little, definitely worth it.
Hopefully I will be saying the same again in a few years šŸ¤ž

Septembermomma · 16/01/2026 10:21

Lovely stuff I’m really pleased I’m not alone šŸ˜‚ that’s good to know that the chaos is worth it, when my son was little I had my nephew a lot and they were similar in age and it was lovely that they grew il together but I’m sure it’s very different 🄹 I’m hoping we can get some better sleep before we start again šŸ˜‚šŸ¤žšŸ½

Yes! My lg has just turned 1 so I'll have 2 under 21 months. I'm sure it will be absolute chaos as my toddler isn't in nursery but at least she will still be on 1 nap.. so I might get a little bit of time to myself. Maybe 🤣

Septembermomma · 16/01/2026 10:54

We can all go through it together šŸ˜‚ my little one is starting nursery in 2 weeks when I go back to work I haven’t thought as far as when I’m off again šŸ˜‚ we just be mad šŸ˜‚šŸ„°

Sleep would be amazing! We are enjoying 2am growling/shouting/screeching recently and it is making me question my choices šŸ˜‚

Septembermomma · 16/01/2026 14:27

I feel you .. we’re at the roll on to front, scream, get rolled back and repeat stage .. all night .. every night šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚ there’s 8 months to get this under control šŸ¤žšŸ½šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

LawyerishMumma · 16/01/2026 23:20

Hi ladies, I'm jumping on too :D Got my BFP yesterday - this will be my third and I think I'm due the 23rd. I'm not 100% sure when I ovulated this time around. Good to see some more third time mummas! I had a covid baby with my first, then had to move away from my friends due to housing issues during my second, so both my previous pregnancies definitely felt very isolated and I'm determined for this one to be different!

The bloat has been so mad this time around. I defo look 5 months pregnant by the end of the day already and I'm not even 5 weeks haha I've also had really achy boobs, but I breastfed youngest until Aug last year and they've been sensitive since then and definitely much bigger than pre-pregnancy!

ripleynot · 17/01/2026 10:07

I’m 5 weeks today. Feeling so strange as it just feels like schrodinger's pregnancy right now. My husband and I are still in shock.

We’re at my in laws for the weekend and I’m meeting our new baby nephew for the first time and I can’t believe we’re going through this massive thing and are keeping it secret, it feels insane!! Also I’m usually the first with a glass of wine so thank GOD for dry January excuse, although I’m convinced my MIL thinks something is up because she’s known me since I was 20 and have never done Dry Jan before šŸ˜‚

I just feel so aware this could all end very soon and it would kind of feel like it had never happened, but also it’s all my husband and I can think about right now. Mad feeling.

Anyone else living a double life right now?

Clueless13 · 17/01/2026 18:35

Congratulations to all the mamas on here :)

My EDD is 24th Sept. I’m about 4 weeks pregnant (my LMP was on the 17th December and I had a positive OPK on 30th December) I’ve had period-like cramps for the last 10 days and they eased yesterday/today and I’m not getting them at all anymore. I’m now worried - is this normal, are things wrong? I don’t have any other symptoms, I know it’s still very early. Advice please šŸ™šŸ½

LPiper · 17/01/2026 20:21

I see lots of reference to Badger notes. Is that universal across all nhs trusts? I had my booking appointment on Thursday but they never mentioned an app?

IDontDrinkTea · 17/01/2026 20:32

I’m only 5+5 today, but thanks to the bloat my mother was side eyeing my stomach all afternoon šŸ‘€ I know they say you show earlier the more babies you have but this is ridiculous!

No. My trust don’t use it

Mine might not then either (doesn’t surprise me-I’m a clinician and I still use paper notes!). Thank you

Symptoms fluctuate all the time, and period-like cramps in early pregnancy is normal as it's the body stretching. If it gets more painful, that's when it can be a warning sign. I'm due about the 23rd and my niggling cramps have stopped today too. I'm hoping it's actually a good sign that things are happening in there.

It’s such a weird feeling isn’t it! I keep going to the loo expecting to see my period’s arrived 🫣 hoping all ok as didn’t feel this way with my 1st! Is this your 1st baby?

LuckyDuck93 · 19/01/2026 09:51

Hi everyone, joining as I got my first ever BFP at the weekend.
Taken 2 years for us to get here so I think i'm still in shock, don't really feel like it's happening!
Question for those of you that have done this before, when do I self refer to the midwife? 4 weeks seems so early, I dont know whether to wait until i'm 5/6 weeks or if it makes any difference!

Hi @LuckyDuck93congratulations on you BFP! šŸŽ‰ I think last time I self referred around 6 weeks, although I’d had a lot of spotting so had been waiting to see what would happen. I think you’re fine to refer now if you want to ā˜ŗļø but equally if you’d rather wait I don’t think it would hurt as long as you get your booking appt in around ~8-10 weeks! Others on this thread might have better advice though! X
