Hey folks. Thought I’d set up a thread for those expecting in September next year. I got my bfp yesterday at 10dpo on Christmas Day 🄹. I think my due date would be around 6th September. It would be nice to keep in touch with some ladies going through similar things. Xxx

Hi all!
Congratulations to you all ā¤ļø

My EDD is 15th September. Got my positive on Thursday 8th Jan (16dpo) i didn't test because I honestly thought it would never happen naturally after ivf and allsorts.
My boobs are sore, feeling a bit heavy in my stomach, and MY GOD, the bloat is on another level!!
I've done 8 tests because I just don't believe it and the anxiety is killing me!! Got bloods with the midwife on 22nd Jan, a GP call on the 26th Jan to refer me for early scan due to previous ectopic, and midwife booked for 6th Feb... xx

pastaislife · 13/01/2026 14:42

Hi everyone! Can I join please 🄰 got positive tests at the weekend, just over 4 weeks I think based on last period. Due date looks to be 19/20 September!

First baby and first cycle trying after being told I had very low AMH last year, so feeling shocked, surprised, excited terrified all the feelings! 🤣

ErickBroch · 13/01/2026 15:17

Reluctant to post too much in here or get too excited as I know the risks this early. I’m only just over four weeks, but the tiredness is killing me! I’m pretty sure this is almost entirely due to the fact I’ve cut my caffeine intake down by 1/3 and my body is not happy!

RoamingToaster · 13/01/2026 15:28

@ErickBroch Welcome! I know what you mean about caffeine! I've reduced myself to one cup of tea a day. I used to practically only drink tea all day.

Yes I’m terrible usually. We have an at home barista set up so I usually have 2 double espresso a day, and a tea, and maybe a soft drink in an evening. Argh!! Having a single espresso in the morning and have switched to decaf tea.

Vwhite · 13/01/2026 17:29

Second time (or more) mums— anyone else find that lack of symptoms make you more nervous/ in denial that you are actually pregnant? My first i had very bad sickness for 16weeks straight. This time no sickness. Little bit tired and very sore boobs thats it. Am i being daft or is this a thing?

RoamingToaster · 13/01/2026 18:19

@Vwhite I had much less nausea with my second than first. According to NHS it’s normal as first time pregnancies are listed as a risk factor for experiencing nausea.
I know some people find reassurance in it but I’m glad I don’t notice have it much. I occasionally feel a little sick but it doesn’t last long and isn’t that bad. One other reason I’m glad is that apparently twins give you more nausea so it’s hopefully unlikely that’s the case for me šŸ˜‚

Hi everyone, and congratulations!!

I’m currently 16DPO, due 15th September 2026. This is my 3rd pregnancy, first 2 were early losses/chemical.

Really struggling with anxiety due to the previous losses, however I got my 2-3 on a clear blue digital at 15DPO yesterday which I’ve never had before so I’m hoping and praying this bean is sticking around šŸ™šŸ¼

Photos attached are my clear blue yesterday and first line at 8DPO to current positive at 16DPO šŸ„¹ā¤ļø

We have the same due dates ā¤ļø got my 3+ today I have never managed to get that far! How you getting on xxxxx

unsureforevermore · 13/01/2026 19:12

Lyndsey8880 · 13/01/2026 19:23

How are you all coping?
I am seriously struggling today...
Have had a weird feeling in my stomach all day, sometimes feels like a dull ache like my period is coming, other times feels like I've done 100 sit ups, then feels like trapped wind or constipation.. and I'm absolutely terrified!
I've read hundreds of posts from people saying it's normal...but I cannot ease my anxiety right now 😭

newmama2023 · 13/01/2026 19:47

My estimated due date i think is the 10th September. Still waiting for midwives to be in touch, but have received my appointment for my 12 week scan Feb 26th. This is my second, my daughter will be 3 next month. I am excited. But still doesn't feel real!

I had the worst sickness with my daughter and not feeling that bad this pregnancy. Only feel slightly nauseous ocassionally, i am however absolutely exhausted and can nap in the day, which is totally out of character for me! It still doesn't feel real for me. Im sure if i was as sick as last time I'd feel more assured if that makes sense lol! But waiting for first midwife appointment or scan will definitely help i hope. I am also so bloated with this pregnancy, and my appetite is lacking so much. Which again, is completely different to my previous pregnancy. They do say, no two pregnancies are alike i suppose!

Sepduemama · 13/01/2026 20:13

Hello everybody ā˜ŗļø could I join too? I got my BFP last Wednesday but it’s taken me a week to come to terms with with it šŸ˜… congratulations everybody xx

Thank you for your response. Im glad I'm not constantly being sick for 16weeks again its a relief. And especially the twins part from what you say, i take my hat off to those that do. My little girl is 3.5yo so i can see why the tiredness is hitting me earlier this time. I think i am in a-bit of denial this time too i think until i see that baby is in there im going to be. Fingers crossed the sickness stays away for you too 😊

I fully understand this the tiredness is the main thing (other than lack of period) thats reminding me that I'm pregnant. Last time was bad sickness. Like you say until you start going to appointments you can convince yourself that your not or something is wrong. Im starting to see that its not going to be the same as last time. I had low papp-a last time and she stopped growing and was induced 2 weeks early. We were a few grams off being heavily monitored for this one. (Still might be) I was in hospital from 5months every other day to check her growth and how the placenta was working. Deffo want a different experience this time round. Im 34 and dont think we will have another one after this. Fingers crossed for us all to have smooth pregnancies šŸ¤žšŸ„°

I had this dull ache for the first week or so. It’s eased off now but occasionally comes back. From what I’ve read it’s all normal and that midwives typically say that having no symptoms is more of a concern. This is my first pregnancy so I don’t know how true that is.
I am just lapping up and showing appreciation for every single ache, twang, wave of sickness I feel and enjoying every moment of being pregnant ā¤ļøšŸ©·

I wish I could enjoy... this is my 4th pregnancy, one daughter through IVF, one failed IVF, one miscarriage, one ectopic and the anxiety is unreal! The ache hasn't gone away so has been 24 hours now and I'm constantly going to the loo just waiting for the bleeding to appear.
Feel like I'm going out of my mind!

Yes, please enjoy every moment! I spent my entire pregnancy with my daughter worrying and wished I'd just enjoyed the journey! Congratulations ā¤ļø Xx

ErickBroch · 14/01/2026 08:14

How often are people testing who are anxious? It’s my first so all very new to me. I had two faint but there positives last week then did a digital to confirm 100%. Just took another today and it was positive straight away and stronger, phew.

I also filled out my self referral already šŸ˜‚

Oh bless you, I’m so sorry you’ve been through all of that – no wonder the anxiety feels overwhelming. After everything you’ve experienced, it makes complete sense that you’d be hyper-aware of every ache and twinge. The waiting and ā€˜watching for bleeding’ part is honestly torture.

I really hope this settles for you and that this pregnancy is a calm and boring one šŸ¤ Thank you for your kind words too – I’ll think of you and hope you get some reassurance very soon. Sending you lots of love xx

Yes, it's hell! If it's going to be over I just want it to happen... the waiting and not knowing is mental torture! I've got early bloods next week and an early scan the following week to rule out ectopic due to previous, but that feels like a lifetime away and like I won't even make it that far...
But, us ladies have to carry on don't we!

Thank you again, and I hope for a boring stress free pregnancy for you too ā¤ļø Xxx

I tested up until I got a 3+ on the clear blue and a dye stealer at 5 weeks, then haven’t tested since. I feel like at that point the tests won’t tell you any more so best to wait until you can have a scan, I understand the anxiety though because I’m so anxious myself!
