Just for fun as I know everyone is different and babies tend to come when they're ready. Just curious to know when others first baby arrived and was it accurate to your due date?
Also did you experience any signs you were nearing labour?
FTM here with a week to go and excited to meet my little one, and thinking every twinge is a sign hahahah

41+3. No signs, just woke up in the middle of the night with regular contractions and that continued until I have birth.

Janey3090 · 03/12/2025 12:33

My DD arrived on 39 weeks and 1 day! No signs at all, just went into labour right on 39 weeks and she arrived the following day. I was so convinced I was going to have her late as well!

Alwaystired23 · 03/12/2025 12:38

My first was 4 weeks early. My waters broke at 34 weeks to the day and he was born 36 weeks to the day, so I ended up with a Christmas baby.

CagneyNYPD1 · 03/12/2025 12:42

41+6
40+6 (Christmas baby)

Bells3032 · 03/12/2025 12:47

First waters broke at 33+6 and arrived at 34+1
Second induced and arrived at 38+6 though I was already in early labour so would have likely arrived in the next few days regardless

2 weeks late. In a heatwave. So in actual fact it was basically more like 2 months late. I was so done.

AvocadoJam · 03/12/2025 12:58

41 weeks, contractions started after a curry and water broke as walking in to labour ward!

Stopthatplease · 03/12/2025 13:03

1st 38+5, labour started. born by emc 39 weeks,
2nd 38+5, c section was planned for 39+1, he had other ideas.

Peonies12 · 03/12/2025 13:03

Mine arrived at 41+2. Due date is only an estimate! I'm so pleased I worked til 39 weeks, would have gone mad otherwise. Keep busy, you could have 3 more weeks to go.

solis25 · 04/12/2025 01:38

39+2 - the night before labour I had crazy diarrhoea! Didn’t know that was a big give away until after. I went to work nursing the following g day as normal, then in the evening a tiny trickle was my waters. Wasn’t sure if it was like cm but maternity confirmed it. Contractions started 5 hours later, I laboured for 8 hours x

Katty123 · 04/12/2025 17:41

Mine arrived on her due date!

BaileyHorse · 04/12/2025 17:52

My first was due on the 15th and arrived on 21st. Had a sweep at 1pm on the 20th, started labour at 9am on the 21st and she was in my arms by 6pm! I also kept looking out for any niggles but you will know when it’s the real thing! Good luck and congratulations xx

dontforgetme · 04/12/2025 19:59

My first was 3 days early and my second was 11 days early.

myheadsjustmush · 04/12/2025 21:52

DD1 was 2 weeks late
DS2 was bang on his due date
DD3 was two weeks early

weegiemum · 04/12/2025 21:53

Dd1 was 4 days early
Ds was 10 days early
Dd2 was born at 36+6 (induced as I was ill)

ladygindiva · 04/12/2025 22:03

First was eleven days late. Day before I went into a frenzy if nesting, I'd been doing it mildly for about a month but I went into overdrive, chopped up old furniture for firewood, moved furniture about etc. that was my only sign really 🤣

ItsameLuigi · 04/12/2025 22:04

First I was induced because of reduced movement, he came 1 day early. Second I went into labour naturally and she was born 1 day late. Both labours were about 5/6 hours start to finish. Got to the hospital with my 2nd at8cm lol. Trust your body you've got this😀
