Are you having Covid 19 vaccine when pregnant?

I’ve been really undecided what to do.

I cant seem to find much recent research about the risks and benefits.

Just wondered what other people are deciding and if your managed to find any good recent research that has helped your decision.

thanks

i was like you until the Covid vaccine. All the risk, no benefit. In the Pfizer trials which you can look up online, more died in the vaccine arm. It was supposed to prevent Covid. That was what was sold. It doesn’t, it never did. The spike protein was supposed to stay in the arm. It doesn’t, it never did. The spike protein, the most deadly part of the Covid vaccine, is in your body forever and ever, replicating.

<snort> Covid hits the respiratory system. Be fuck all use if the spike protein just stayed in your arm! And of course it stays - that’s how your immunisations are lifelong. Muppet.🤦‍♀️

VAERS is the adverse event reporting system- it’s there to collect the reports of side effects. There’s no denominator data in it- meaning the millions of doses that have been uneventful are not recorded here.

Dodgethis · 20/09/2025 22:11

I did. Very gratefully. I was pleased to protect myself from Covid at a time when I had a weakened immune system and pleased to protect my baby through antibodies in the breast milk. I did a bunch of reading at the time, I was happy it was safe and it worked.

Why not?

You are risking your baby’s health by not doing so.

My baby was severely vaccine damaged. The £120k compensation doesn’t last long when a child requires 24/7 care. I genuinely wouldn’t give the covid vaccine to my worst enemy, let alone a pregnant woman. I know people who have had about six covid vaccines including boosters and still get covid but just bleat about “oh well I would have got it much more severely if I hadn’t had the vaccines”. It’s rubbish.

Which vaccine did you have during pregnancy that severely damaged your baby? Covid?

Can you share any information about babies being impacted by this vaccine in utero? I have never heard of it and think it is largely scaremongering…

Unless you're immunosuppressed or over 75 you won't be eligible

it was offered to me alongside flu vaccine as I was pregnant over the winter. I got both vaccines and no issues at all.
also got the whooping cough and the new rsv jag - both also fine.

i gave birth in summer this year. Had the jags in dec 2024.

the above poster is right tho and this year it isn’t being routinely offered to pregnant women.

CTTat · 21/09/2025 08:54

Yes because I trust in science 👌🏼

FunnyOrca · 21/09/2025 08:58

I was given it with a flu jab, at my booking appointment and told I’d get another in September (the next start of flu season) however, they have since stopped offering the covid jab to pregnant women. I just got the flu jab in September.

I am happy I had the covid jab though because there seemed to be a July/August flurry of it, that completely passed me by. My husband had it, my colleagues had it and I was fine!

Having had pretty horrid covid before, I will definitely be paying to get privately vaccinated once baby is out!

Don’t get any vaccinations while pregnant and certainly not the covid vaccine. I wouldn’t even consider it for a second.

So you wouldnt get RSV or whooping cough. Although both are on the rise and can be fatal to a baby?

This is whats wrong with the world.

Im all for not bothering with covid vaccine but the rest are VERY important.

babyproblems · 21/09/2025 12:08

I had it whilst pregnant during the pandemic. It was the second jab I think. I had zero problems and think in hindsight it was the right thing to do because there was a covid case on the mat unit whilst I was there. I would follow medical advice of midwife and GP.

How is it a theory if I quoted Pfizer’s own data? You can look it up yourself. They tried to bury it for 75 years but a judge in the US ordered it to be released well over a year ago. You can read the harms in their own words. It’s literally there in black and white and yet people still take the damn things.

75 years?!?

75 years?!?

Yes. Look it up. Pfizer and the FDA fought in court to conceal the harms for 75 years. Thankfully they lost.

You’re talking about a COVID vaccine tho aren’t you?

Yes as the link shows.

Thanks everyone for your comments and insight. It’s given me more food for thought. I actually wasn’t aware that they had stopped offering it to pregnant women for free.

When i went for my RSV and flu they said they've stopped offering it because not enough pregnant women were having it, so it caused a lot of waste, as they would open it up and nobody would have it. So they've got the figures together and said they are stopping it for pregnant women.

Understandable, especially when they say we just have to live with it now. Its not something that will ever go away, its just going to be seasonal like flu.

Its wasting money on vaccines when not many people are having it anymore.

TheBirdintheCave · 21/09/2025 15:19

So I didn’t have it as I reasoned I’d had three of the vaccines already and had not caught Covid in years. I had everything else offered though, Flu and whooping cough etc.

Pregnancy IS immunosuppressed!

I am horrified at some of these comments. Pregnant women died from covid, babies were stillborn due to covid. Why would anyone risk this?

They arent offering it to pregnant people anymore as far as im aware?

My trust said they wouldnt give it me as theyre not rolling it out to pregnant people for free.

It isn’t being offered in pregnancy.

The only people who are eligible for the Autumn 2025 Covid booster are
over 75s
people who live in care homes
immunosuppressed people

No relatives of high risk patients, no pregnant people, no asthma etc.
