How early did you go into labour NATURALLY with your FIRST baby??

Now I know that this is a guessing game but I'm just at that curious stage.

I watched a TV Programme last night whereby a woman gave birth at 30 weeks (I'm 30 weeks!)

Just wondering, assuming all ok, when did you give birth naturally??

Obviously, the longer I can keep this baby in, the better!!

I was a week overdue - most first babies tend to be late (at least anecdotally)

JackieNo · 02/06/2008 16:30

Waters broke & labour started 10 days before due date, born 9 days early.

mankymummy · 02/06/2008 16:32

36 weeks. very quick. no pain relief

FruitynNutty · 02/06/2008 16:36

40+12 - in the middle of a heatwave, grrrrr

But worth it in the end

LenniEd · 02/06/2008 17:28

Waters went at 39+6 (5am Christmas morning )
established labour 40+1
DD delivered 40+2

sweetkitty · 02/06/2008 17:31

37+5 weeks waters went first followed by baby 4 hour 20 mins later, I went into shock was not expecting it.

Second time was a whole lot different 41+5

tassisssss · 02/06/2008 17:33

4 days early with no1
7 days early with no2
so to continue the pattern that'd be 10 days early with no3, which is tomorrow!

TeaDr1nker · 02/06/2008 17:34

i was convinced i would be late....

I was 3 days early

jellyforbrains · 02/06/2008 17:38

40+2. Was nice. Didn't get taken by surprise with being early, but wasn't kept waiting too long either. DC2 was 40+1. Am hoping for similar this time!

CantSleepWontSleep · 02/06/2008 17:39

40+6

elle23 · 02/06/2008 17:45

37 weeks exactly - with all three babies!

GreenElizabeth · 02/06/2008 17:46

I was convinced I'd be overdue too as everybody said that that's what happens with your first baby.

I had dc1 at 39+5.

mummy2olivia · 02/06/2008 18:39

40+4. Only took 3 hours.

Enjoy your last weeks.

lljkk · 02/06/2008 18:45

38+5, labour was on-off for a couple days, baby came at 39 wks exactly.

zebedee1 · 02/06/2008 19:10

40+4. I knew he would come that day as DP had tickets to the cup final - cue waters breaking an hour after DP got home (drunk as a lord) and DS arriving 11 hours later!

BTW DS was a heffer (9lb7oz) and his birth was great, so don't worry if your LO is not the little one you are hoping for. My best friend had a much worse time having her 6lber!

forevercleaning · 02/06/2008 19:16

39 +3

feb · 02/06/2008 21:16

funnypeculiar · 02/06/2008 21:23
