Conception from just the tip?

Hi! don’t suppose anyone could give me some advice?
Me and my Partner were fooling around and he put the tip of his Penis inside me, it did not go all the way inside just in and out (i suffer with vaginismus) although he didn’t ejaculate i’m worried about pre cum? (we usually use condoms) i have worked out i am in my fertile window too, do i have any chances of conceiving if it wasn’t full penetration, only the head of the penis? thank you:)

It’s unlikely, but possible. If a baby would be a big problem for you then you need emergency contraception

This

and get on the pill and/or use condoms in future

lizzyshayda · 01/09/2025 16:16

thank you! i did read it’s unlikely but possible as it was only the tip and there was no semen involved, but pre cum is a thing

we use condoms all the time, this was just a silly thing that happened but i’m 98% sure i can’t get pregnant from just the tip lol

Well ... the tip is the problem end though ... 🤷‍♀️

Wolfiefan · 01/09/2025 16:29

Unlikely but not impossible. Get emergency contraception.

i know! 🤣 i just thought it was unlikely as no semen was involved (i know pre cum is a thing) it didn’t just go in an out in 1 second it happened for like a minute ish of the tip going in and out of me as i have painful sex

even if it happened for a minute ish, no full penetration involved just the head of the penis?

Yes there is a chance.
are you very young Op?

AzureCats · 01/09/2025 16:44

If you don't want to be pregnant then go and get the "morning after pill".
It works up to 72 hours after sex I believe.
Depending on where you live, some pharmacies and sexual health clinics offer it for free.

This option is much easier than taking the chance and ending up pregnant and then facing the decision of abortion or raising a child in less than ideal circumstances.

There's also the coil that is inserted into your uterus and can protect against future pregnancies for a few years.

i am 24, i do know it only takes a little bit of sperm to get someone pregnant i just read the chances are low if there isn’t full ejaculation involved

i read the morning after pill doesn’t work if you’re ovulating or already ovulated? but i will take the pill:) thank you

You say no penetration but what you describe the tip did penetrate you, you didn’t have full penetration but he did penetrate you!! (That’s a lot of penetrates in once sentence lol)

Wolfiefan · 01/09/2025 16:52

You need to educate yourself better going forwards. Seriously OP. No unprotected contact at all going forward unless you want to be pregnant.

Branster · 01/09/2025 16:53

Why is the word penis typed with capital P?

sorry! i’m just confusing myself here, the tip slightly went inside so i guess it was penetration but not the full shazam if you know what i mean, i suffer with vaginismus so it is very hard for me to put anything inside my vaginal opening. Obviously sperm is visible in pre cum fluid i’m just manipulating myself into thinking i cannot get pregnant from a tip of a penis going slightly in and out of me for a minute or so. I would love a baby just not right now, i am financially stable etc so no problem there i just wanted to see if it could be possible of that happening (:

This is correct the emergency contraceptive pill works by delaying ovulation so if you ovulated the day of the intercourse or the time since you could still get pregnant. The coil would be more appropriate.

Any contact between penis/precum/semen and your vagina could result in pregnancy. The less contact the less likely but it does just take one swimmer to get pregnant.

Whether you need to act comes down to how detrimental it would be to be pregnant. If it would be a big problem it is probably safer to err on the side of caution and get advice.

Have you both been checked for STIs since starting this relationship as this would be another risk to consider

So not sure as to the point of this thread? Yes there’s a chance of getting pregnant, no matter how far it goes in! Whether you want to accept that chance is up to you.

because i read from other people it’s unlikely, i just wanted to see people’s opinions

This isn’t an “opinion” matter though. The fact is that it is possible.

it’s unlikely to get you pregnant but that doesn’t mean it can’t happen.

You’re obviously worried so there’s no need to make you feel worse about the situation. Hopefully your not pregnant but just be aware of the risks next time now that you know 🙂
