ok, am being very silly now.

but keep panicking about 'what if i'm having a boy this time'

i have 3 girls. i am one of three girls then have a younger brother and we were evil to him. honestly, we attacked hi mwith make up, played jokes on him, our friends used to tease him and it was madness.

its going to be crazy here with 4 kids anyway, i know that, but the thought of throwing a poor little defenceless boys into the mix of my crazy practical joker girls, well it scares me.

shall we start taking bets?

dizzydixies · 30/05/2008 18:59

misdee am in same boat after 2dds am not sure I'll know what to do if he's a boy - I mean where do his bits go etc!?!?!?!?

expat do you know for sure or do you have a 'feeling'?!

ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 30/05/2008 18:59

You'll be fine, it's probably the unknown that is worrying you.

It's still a baby, whether it be a boy or a girl.

Journey · 30/05/2008 19:00

So why would you let history repeat itself?

expatinscotland · 30/05/2008 19:01

I just have a feeling.

Have 2 DDs and this pregnancy, am sick a lot, gut problems, greasy hair, bad skin, just like with the DDs.

IllegallyBrunette · 30/05/2008 19:01

I had a boy after two girls, and it was absolutly fabulous, he is my little man, I love him to bits.

Honestly, you won't care a jot once the baby is here, whatever it is.

IllegallyBrunette · 30/05/2008 19:03

Obviously I love my girls too. Thought I should make that clear LOL.

The bond I have with Ds is just so different to the one I have with the dd's though, it is weird.

The dd's do abuse him a bit though. He came down dressed as Indiana Jones the other day, wearing a red indian suit, pink cowboy hat and blue eye shadow

misdee · 30/05/2008 19:05

oh i will try not to journey, and fortunatly the age gaps between my dd's and my sisters and my brothers a is a fair bit bigger, and dd1 dotes on all babies no matter what. as much as we were nasty to my brother by playign jokes etc we were also fiercely protective of him as well.

I also have a feeling that i am having another girl expat, but think i need to know before i give birth, just in case, as otherwise i wont know what to do with boys. i did say to dh we could reuse the pink sleepsuits if its a boy and he gave me the 'look' of dont be daft woman lol.

So far in the family, my parents have 2 grandsons, and 7 grandaughters. peters parents have 4 granddaughters.

The best bit was, later on when he was whinging, and I said 'don't be such a girl', and he said 'i'm not a girl', and I said 'oh yeah, why are you wearing blue eye shadow and a pink cowboy hat then' .

IllegallyBrunette · 30/05/2008 19:07

All you need to know about boys, is keep the willy pointing down when you are doing up the nappy - oh and don't retract the foreskin when cleaning him.

See, it's easy

misdee · 30/05/2008 19:09

i know nutty, wasnt sure if we were allowed to call you nutty though

pmsl at 'dont be such a girl'

IllegallyBrunette · 30/05/2008 19:09

Oh yes, nutty is still allowed

misdee · 30/05/2008 19:09

what happens if i dont point it down Confused

ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 30/05/2008 19:23

The most absorbant part of the nappy is more in the middle of the nappy, so if you point the willy down you are less likely to have leaks.

PortAndLemon · 30/05/2008 19:26

They wee out of the top and through their clothes.

misdee · 30/05/2008 19:50

will remember that one lol.
