I have just had a positive result! Looks like I’m due early March 2026.
Second baby for me, eldest is 9 in September.

Thought it would be lovely to have somewhere to share our progress

So sorry to hear of those with sad outcomes and uncertain situations, hope you have support right now, have been there myself before with MC.
Had an early epu scan yesterday which should have been 7w3d but was dated at 5w6d with 4.2mm fetal pole, yolk sac but no heartbeat. Rescan in 7 days time as not certain whether viable or not yet. I'm thinking the worst as my dates are pretty sure, but my tests did take a long time to get dark... Not sure if that makes a difference. Any experience anyone has of this or similar please do share. I'm preparing for the worse but keeping a tiny bit of hope. Going to feel like a long wait.

@TheFutureIstell me about it. I had a nap earlier and have come to bed already as still tired. I swear this baby chills out at the beginning of the week then has me feeling crappy towards the end of the week

I haven’t had any cravings yet but have been weirdly dreaming of McDonald’s double cheeseburgers since I passed a McDonald’s on Monday 🙈🤣 not something I tend to eat more than once a year! I’ve not been able to go near coffee since making my husband one yesterday and the smell made me gag! I’m also finding my sickness is a LOT worse when I am the passenger in a car! Either that or my husband is a terrible driver 🤣

I still haven’t heard back from the GP so I think I will try and contact them again this morning and ask about the stronger folic acid. It looks like my blood pressure medication should be ok from looking online.

I went into school yesterday and did lots of sorting out of my classroom - kept forgetting I shouldn’t really be climbing on chairs/tables to sort displays! Have been having what feels like gentle cramps since last night so hopefully that is just normal.

We are off on holiday tomorrow! Thankfully only to the Channel Islands so very short flight. Felt a bit sick this morning but really hoping I don’t get sickness until we get back. Just worried that something might happen while we’re away but if it does it does - they have hospitals!

@Fallulah a holiday will be great! A good distraction I always fine.

I got my 3+ this morning! (Finally). A little late so I’m still a bit worried, but very relieved it’s finally appeared.

My second scan has been brought forward from next Friday to Monday as again had more bleeding last night lasting a couple hours then turning brown it’s stopped again this morning 😔😩 I suppose if it is the worse at least il have clarity in a few days rather than waiting all week!

@Mushroo5+5 is an absolutely OK time to get it - try not to worry.

Sorry to hear you have more bleeding @Hopeloveandkindness it must be worrying. It’s great it’s stopping through and no cramps. My scan is Monday too, will be thinking of you.

Had a really sharp pain when I sneezed last night, surely too early for RLP!

Ahhh I hope it’s all ok @Hopeloveandkindnessive had a little bit this morning, weirdly been a week since I last had any. Spoke to the hospital triage unit (don’t seem to have EPU available) She just said unless it’s really heavy and I’m cramping to just take it easy for now. 😢

@FlossiePot91 @mumtrovert it is really worrying I’m almost paying for a private scan today but it’s £150 and I think il clarity on Monday anyway so I stopped myself. I’m trying to take comfort that it’s stops and I’ve had no pain etc but still doesn’t feel right. I feel so sick today too which is not helping

@Hopeloveandkindness turning brown is a really good sign. Try and take it easy over the weekend (easier said than done I know!)

I’m feeling quite nervous about having no symptoms / symptoms disappearing. I was nauseous and strong sense of smell a week ago, both gone now. I’m 6+5. This is around the stage of my previous MC so I’m just so anxious. Anyone else similar?

Finally got the courage to do my last clear blue and got my 3+, 7 weeks tomorrow ❤️ felt very strained today, probably from carrying my lazy 2 year old around, looking forward to a weekend of resting after my night shift tonight! DD is off for a sleepover with her Nonna so I'm planning on sleeping the entire time, sorry hubby 🤣

@rollupi had zero symptoms with my DS4 and really doubted i was pregnant, i also had the initial symptoms at the beginning with him for a few fays and it made me very anxious as i had 2Xmc before. This pregnancy is different lots of nausea! I suppose i seem to forget tiredness/exhaustion/fatigue is also a symptom

I was up at 7:45 this morning and back in bed at 11 😴 I’m so tired today

@mumtrovert I am absolutely exhausted. I normally go for a walk to get my LO to nap and I had to send DH as I just couldn’t face it.

Im also craving meat to ridiculous levels so worried I might be slightly aneamic…

I spoke to a lovely doctor yesterday who has sorted my medication and prescribed the 5mg folic acid. Cost me nearly £30 in prescriptions - can’t wait til I have the cert to make them free! She wants me to have a face to face appt for reassurance (she’s written in my notes ‘anxious ++’ 🤔 ) so I’ve booked that for when we get home from holiday.

We’ve made it here through flight delays and LONG bus journeys. I get travel sick anyway so I’m pretty proud of myself that no chunder was chundered. I still actually have no symptoms - morning sickness is allowed to come next week when we’re home, but for now I’m all for the buffet breakfast!

@Fallulahglad you got your prescription but can’t believe you had to pay for them. Thankfully we don’t pay for them here. Glad you’re feeling good and hope you enjoy your holiday.

@mumtrovertand @MushrooI’m also shattered. Had 8 hours sleep last night and had to have a nap while DS napped this afternoon. And I’m still tired 😴

I had a loss last may and still have my maternity exemption which I am glad about as I am on progesterone. When I get my new maternity exemption it will mean I will have gone from April 2024 to March 2027 without paying for prescriptions 🤯

How far pregnant do you need to be before you get the exemption? Is it at your 12 week scan?

@Hopeloveandkindnessyour midwife should apply for it after your booking appointment x
