I have just had a positive result! Looks like I’m due early March 2026.
Second baby for me, eldest is 9 in September.

Thought it would be lovely to have somewhere to share our progress

Thanks all for all your kind words. We seen a heart beat everything was present yolk sac, fetal pole present. Crown measurements were 6.9mm measuring 6 weeks 4 days 🥹. I’m still bleeding but not heavy she couldn’t see a hematoma etc but said it could be implantation bleeding or irritation to the pessaries I am on. I have another scan next Friday 🙏🏻

Glad the scans have gone well this morning for everyone ❤️

Wishfulttc · 22/07/2025 16:24

Feel brave enough to post on here after a rollercoaster few weeks. Been TTC for a couple of years with a MMC (Oct 23) and chemical (Apr 25). Was going through a fertility referral and the day they diagnosed me with PCOS I found out I was pregnant (Jul 4). Had pretty strong symptoms but booked a private scan on Saturday where they saw yolk sac only but today the EPU asked me to come in for scan due to my history and they saw a little bean and a strong heartbeat!! Measuring at just 6 weeks so due mid-March ish but I’ve never ever got this far before and it feels surreal! Amazing how quickly things can develop Finally feels like I can have some hope after all this time…:) loved reading all of your journeys so far, and so pleased that I can finally join in! How are you combatting the nausea? I’ve not been sick but my goodness, everything makes me retch!!

mumtrovert · 22/07/2025 16:34

That’s great @ZoeOutdoors very happy for you!

Hope your blood results have reassured you @Redsky01 let us know. I’ve spent days googling my blood results for some success stories .. there’s some out there, so just trying to cling to that. This is such an awful time.

mumtrovert · 22/07/2025 16:38

Welcome @Wishfulttc and congrats on your scan 😊

Redsky01 · 22/07/2025 16:39

@mumtrovert @Hopeloveandkindness thanks. Bloods are just routine Bloods for maternity hospital and to get a maternity appointment. It's lack of symptoms is driving me crazy.

ZoeOutdoors · 22/07/2025 17:30

I'm not feeling reassured though, it is a lot of blood still and having cramps 😥

peanutForever · 22/07/2025 17:41

@MI55BumbleBea@FlossiePot91@Casper94i can smell the drains!

Had my scan at the epu this morning following bleeding, measuring 6 weeks rather than the 7w3 i thought i was but there was a heartbeat, I couldn't believe it. Still bleeding now and they couldn't see where its come from, I've been given progesterone so hopefully that helps.

Amazing the bleeding is so scary I’m glad you saw a heart beat 🙏🏻❤️ same with me on bleeding front could not see where it was coming from so distressing 😩

Congratulations that’s lovely to hear it’s feels a relief having that first scan 🙏🏻✨🤞

@Redsky01 ahhh not long to your scan now and you might be the lucky one that gets symptoms much later like 8 weeks etc everything crossed for you 🙏🏻🤞

MrsWindrush · 22/07/2025 18:56

On the weekend just gone I was complaining to my husband that I didn’t feel pregnant, today I’ve started feeling sick and am SO TIRED that I can barely keep my eyes open and just feel awful! Still terrified though as with both my MMC’s I had symptoms right the way until the scan with the bad news, so it doesn’t feel super reassuring being poorly! Have a scan at our ivf clinic on Thursday (which should be 6+6) so just hoping so much that that’s ok

DobryWieczor · 22/07/2025 20:47

Had our reassurance scan today at 8+1 and everything is measuring as it should to the day, saw the heartbeat and apparently the yolk sac all looks great.

Slightly mortified by the comment “ovaries not sighted due to overlying bowel gas” 😂

Bumblebee1984 · 22/07/2025 21:16

That’s great news @DobryWieczorlol at the comment. I have mine tomorrow at 8 weeks exactly

ohthegrandolddukeofyork · 22/07/2025 21:26

Had my viability scan today too. LMP made me 8+1 today but thought I might be further along. They said I’m 8+6 so five days ahead which considering my last period before I conceived was five days late seems to work out bang on. It does mean I’ll actually be due end of February now but DS was almost two weeks late so I’m going with the mindset of I’ll be overdue this time too so will stick around in this group for now. Symptoms have been strong for the last 5 weeks but over the last 4 days seem to have really intensified. Holding on hope for the magical 12/13 weeks so symptoms can start to ease.
@ZoeOutdoors, @Hopeloveandkindness and everyone else who has had bleeding, just to reassure you a bit more, I had a huge amount of bleeding with my DS from around 7 weeks. Like such a huge amount, I refused to believe there was an explanation other than a miscarriage yet he hung in there and was absolutely fine. It was so so scary and went on for weeks but it all worked out fine in the end. Fingers crossed for you all too xx

Redsky01 · 22/07/2025 21:32

Girls do any of ye watch yere resting heart rate?

Nightshift110 · 22/07/2025 22:11

I've been for a scan today. No evidence of baby at 6 weeks. Pregnancy of unknown location. So being referred to the hospital.
They said it probably 1. Too early .

Miscarriage if had bleeding -which I've not.
Ectopic - more likely.

So now to wait for the hospital to ring me in the morning.
A bit sad, but I was expecting something to be wrong because of the tests going up and down , from 2-3 to 1-2, back up again.

For anyone who wants to join the FB group, I’ve generated a new link as they expire after 48 hours.

Here’s the new one - https://fb.me/g/5HH1kRXi6/80KXpdEy

Thank you! I’ve requested to join, got a BFP a couple of days ago, due date 28th March (although may end up being April given my first two were late). All being well this will be DC3 (eek!)

ZoeOutdoors · 22/07/2025 23:00

After the good news this morning I think I'm out, lots of cramping then passed some tissue. Devastated

Sunflower3000 · 22/07/2025 23:03

Oh@ZoeOutdoors😔 I’m so sorry. Sending unmumsnetty hugs

Bumblebee1984 · 23/07/2025 05:34

@ZoeOutdoorsI’m so sorry.
and @Nightshift110also so sorry you’ve had this news.
please look after yourselves

@Redsky01i have an Apple Watch so see it on there.

@ohthegrandolddukeofyorkthsts great news. That’s rubbish the symptoms have intensified. Definitely roll on the second trimester.

@Sunflower3000welcome. This is also DC3 for me

PickleThePenguin · 23/07/2025 06:17

@Redsky01

I've decided to cover the back of my Fitbit so it can't measure my HR this time. I looked at it in my last pregnancy and it stressed me out. I looked at it for 5 days in this one and when it went down 1bpm I decided I couldn't deal with it and taped the back up!
