Tentatively making this bus, as I don’t think there is one yet. Got the start of my BFP yesterday, and I can see the line developing today. Going to continue to test until AF is due. So far due 2nd Feb 😬 Anyone with me?

@DownWithCremeEggs can you test with FMU tomorrow on a cheapie, and then 2 days later FMU with a cheapie again?
how many DPO are you? My first tests were like yours you’ve shown there

I thought I was 6w6d today and went for an early reassurance scan. I initially wanted to wait a little longer but today was DH’s birthday so decided to risk it and go a bit early.
we saw a little fetus with a healthy heartbeat measuring 6w5d so I was only a day off. It was super reassuring to see and I definitely feel a lot calmer about this pregnancy now

we have another scan booked for next weekend and it feels like FOREVER away.

@Bas27fingers crossed all goes well at your scan next weekend! I know it feels like forever, but it will get there slowly but surely. Hopefully you will find things to keep you super busy so this week flies by.

is anyone else having period like cramps? They’re not really bad or anything. Uncomfortable and do come and go. I think I’m 5+4. So I assume it’s normal stretching and stuff?

I’m 5+4 too, yes I’ve been having them for a few weeks now, very mild and they come and go, I haven’t had any spotting so fingers crossed everything is okay in there! I’m having an early scan on Wednesday to make sure everything is in the right the place

@DownWithCremeEggs are you very early? Like 9DPO? The cheap tests take a while to get dark.. but you should see a noticable difference every 2 days. I recommend a first response test as they're more sensitive early on. They should always look like a clear line by 14DPO. Not necessarily dark with a cheapie, but clearly there.

@jelliebean9 Ya, I’m having period like cramps too. It’s mild and I don’t have it often. An odd day here and there!

@jelliebean9 yes i am 5+5 and some days seem to be quite crampy and other days nothing. Also a kind of hot burning sensation accross lower abdomen and sharp stabs either side so hopefully it is just everything stretching more quickly second time round!

Anyone else really constipated 🙈 takes so long to go! Boob tenderness seems to come and go, wondering if not as bad this pregnancy because they did all of their growing with my first. (Went up about 5 cup sizes!) Iv been trying for over 2 years, and my brother and his wife told me they are expecting there first over the weekend! Of course I couldn’t not say that we were also expecting, was such a lovely moment. I do feel it adds a little bit more pressure for this to work out now in my head, as would be so lovely to go through this alongside them, and it’s that horrid worry that if it doesn’t work out for one of us…… hopefully this was just meant to be! Xx

I’ve got a scan this morning and I’m so nervous 😩 I last had one nearly 2 weeks ago and they couldn’t see anything but hoping it was just too early! I’ve not got any symptoms but I’m only just 6 weeks so trying to tell myself it’s normal.

I also have a scan this morning and have barely slept 😕 Hoping everything goes well for your scan!

I wasn't going to go to EPU as all the spotting has stopped and I never saw red blood etc, nothing on a pad only when I wipe and I've got lots of symptoms - BUT my friend has encouraged me quite strongly to go tomorrow... What do you guys think?? I know they'll see me as they see women who have had previous miscarriages and spotting but I'm a bit scared to go tbh.

@CharlotteRae yes to constipation, my last pregnancy I had it the entire way through too. I’m going to start lactulose I think because it really was horrendous last time!

I’ve also got thrush 😭 I’ve just been prescribed a pessary for the next week which I’m desperate to work.

Hi! Just found this group, I found out around 3 weeks ago I’m pregnant with my second baby, and I’m super anxious with everything that’s happening now. I’m currently suffering back pain especially when I wake of a morning, it does seem to ease in the day but it’s still there. I had a scan last Monday, where everything looked great and there was also a flicker that could be seen too, my next scan is next Monday and the waiting is torture! My first pregnancy I had a mmc, this one I’ve also had spotting and I’m currently on progesterone pessaries.
I hope everyone is well and everything is going as smoothly as can be.

Thanks everyone! My scan was positive. Again much relief. They've prescribed me cyclogest due to previous miscarriages. Although she did warn me it can cause spotting and cramps which sounds a bit nerve wracking. Anyone else on it?

@MO22 the lady I saw at EPU just now said no question or worry is a silly one and you should always call if you have any concerns. I'm the type who probably wouldn't do so it was reassuring. Can you give them a call today?

Yes!! On and off, also feels like my muscles are tight, like if I sneezed they’d rip?!

I’m not sure how I feel about my scan. I’m only measuring 4 weeks 5 days and I should be nearly 6 weeks. She did see a yolk sac and fetal pole and she thinks possibly the start of a heartbeat but she’s not sure. I went 10 days ago and they couldn’t see anything so she said it’s good progress but I’m so worried it’s going to be another miscarriage.

@PopsiCola could you have ovulated later than you think? I think it sounds like the right amount of progress, just maybe you’re a few later than your dates think? I think my last pregnancy I measured 6 days out and I knew my ovulation date for certain

@WildFinch im on cyclogest pessaries twice a day, I was also on them in my last pregnancy. I found out last time which I’ve done this time too, they actually absorb better and are less mess if inserted rectally. I did have mild cramping, but nothing too much.

I don’t think my ovulation date is out 😞
