I am fed up, induction on Wednesday, but also petrified for giving birth!

C Section on Wednesday, going to get a call tomorrow with a time to go in, hopefully it will be Wednesday morning I go in. See my midwife tomorrow. Put the sheets on the Lua bedside crib last night, must of been there for an hour trying to make sure the mattress was even as the mattress protector it comes with was making it curl up in the corners. It got flung a fair few times! Hope everyone is ok ❤️

So exciting for everyone who has their due dates/ sections etc coming up!

Saw my midwife today, had my dressing taken off my section scar, it’s so much smaller and neater than I thought it would be! Baby was weighed, he’s lost 3oz since birth and had his heel prick test done🥲

@LozC0411 both mine lost nearly 8% sometimes C-section can give them excess fluid. Mine were both ok though with bf only. But keep an eye on it. Remember to keep your fluids up and eat lots and lots. Xxx

I’m good 37 weeks tomorrow got the raspberry leaf tea out .. I am happy to wait for my section date in 17days time but I’m so sore that if we can get her to come early that’s a bonus. Glad your section scar is looking good I was super happy with my scar last time that I don’t want them to change it this time, defo don’t want staples like the first time they wasn’t right for me.

im having my tubes tied during my section is anyone else having this done ?

I'm breathing so heavily at the moment and sometimes hear myself snoring at night 🙈 dreading the messages at the end of the week to ask where baby is!

39+5 today. Went to soft play with my toddler and went down the slides 🙈 Not sure what I was thinking as I haven't been going with DD and DH for weeks but fancied it today as I was feeling good.

I've also been doing pregnancy aquafit since 14w and tonight was my last session before the induction on Sunday. We do squats in the water every week but tonight's felt like I had a heavy weight between my legs for the first time and it was so uncomfortable 😫

I've come home and started feeling quite a bit of pressure and cramps - maybe I've kick started things! 😬

@LeBonBon that sounds very promising ! My daughters party was soft play and I would have 💯 got stuck if I went in 🤣 so no slides for me

I honestly thought I was in early labour last night after days of false starts. Pains were regular, in my back like they were with DD, tracked them for 3 hours while on my birth ball before going to bed thinking that I should get some rest, and they completely stopped! I’d got my notes out and the TENS machine ready. Had even given MIL the heads up to leave her phone on loud just in case (she’s our child care when we need to go to the hospital).

I’ve been cleaning the house this morning with awful back pain and they seem to start up again when I’m active but then go away when I sit down. 38+4 today so already a week later than DD was. Ready to get this baby out now!

Phonecall from the hospital this morning, have to be there for half 7 tomorrow morning and I'm third on the list. Xx

Ah yes bit of a mix up. We got a bit enthusiastic 😁. Up to you lot whichever one you want to comment on. I honestly dont mind. Can't believe it's just over a week! I'm excited and terrified! Xx

@microwoods AHH that's frustrating. I only experienced a few hours of labour and that was enugh for me lol. So I need my baby too hold of till next Friday! But my stomach is huge now. Proper waddle on!

@SnakebitesandSambucas I'm feeling exactly the same! Had a little cry before after putting the sheets on the moses basket and the rest of the bits in my hospital bag and sterilising dummies.

sorry ladies I’m not actually due in may I just stumbled across this post and may have some advice. Clary sage oil - buy in Holland & Barrett- rub on bump, bath in it & repeat and walk as much as you can, stairs if possible. I tried this at 37+4 and it worked

Went for my 38 week midwife appointment today and i'm booked in for a sweep at 39 weeks next Monday.. Hoping it has the same effect as it did with my other 2 - It set me off in less than 24 hours both times!
