Hi all I thought I’d make a thread for any mum’s due September next year! I got my BFP on 22/12 (very unexpected!) have 2 boys already (7 & 2) I think although I wasn’t tracking I’m due on or around 2nd September 😊

Hello, congratulations on your pregnancy! I got my BFP on 26th December, I was not actively ttc so it has come as quite a shock but a nice one😊 I actually have no clue on the dates etc at the moment - stopped taking my pill in November and had my withdrawal bleed from the pill on the 16th so haven't actually had an actual period since coming off it...

Hope it's ok that I join this thread 😊

Lao2471 · 28/12/2024 16:40

Hello, can I join please?

I had my BFP on 21/12 after 18 months TTC. It hasn’t really sunk in yet I don’t think. Working out dates I think I’m due around September 1st.

Have you had any symptoms yet?

Amazing, congratulations! We tried for 18 months with our second boy, it’s definitely surreal after all the negatives each month 🥹 only symptoms I’ve had so far is exhaustion, extreme thirst (not sure if this is a symptom 🤭) greasy hair (normally very dry) and sore boobs. What about you?

It really is. We had started fertility testing and it was the cycle immediately after an HSG so will always wonder if that had something to do with it. We’d made peace with it maybe never happening for us so just hoping it sticks.

I’m with you on the thirst. Sore boobs and trouble sleeping for me. Dreading going back to work already!

camelinastorm · 31/12/2024 09:28

Can I cautiously join, BFP 23rd December after 18 months of IVF had a chemical before so quite scared at this moment

Finkycat · 31/12/2024 11:52

Cautiously typing this, but we got a Positive test on 27th, I would be due 2nd September but I’m 42 and already have 3 boys (16,7,5). Very anxious due to my age!

Rachae · 31/12/2024 15:00

Hello! I'm on the September 2025 babies thread and thought I'd join here too. It's a tentative one at the mo as my tests are quite light and I don't know when I ovulated.. waiting for the FRER in the morning! X

Hidden12 · 11/01/2025 19:08

Congratulations everyone! I’m also due 1st September and it’s my first pregnancy. How is everyone doing with the morning sickness?

NEMamato5 · 12/01/2025 23:55

Hi all,
congratulations on your pregnancies. I hope it’s ok if I join, I’m pregnant with number 6 which was a big shock as my youngest two are 13 year old twins. I have had brown spotting so I went for a scan at 5+4 and I saw the embryo with a little heartbeat 💓 EDD is around 4/9/24 I believe. I’m now 6+3, I’m 40 years old so this will be a high risk pregnancy but fingers crossed all will be ok.

NEMamato5 · 13/01/2025 00:09

04/9/25 🙈

SpookyAllSeasons · 13/01/2025 06:16

Would love to join too. Got my BFP yesterday and based on the first day of my last period, I am 5 weeks today and due towards the mid-end September this year!

It took me 15 years to get a BFP!

Number 6 🙌🏾 congratulations. I bet the rest of the children are excited? Glad to
know that baby is okay! I also had light pink discharge when I thought I was 6+ 3. Everything was fine & we saw a heartbeat but I was told I was 5+6. I have to go for another appointment in 2 weeks. Praying everything will be ok for all of us

Congratulations! Are you having any symptoms yet? Morning sickness / nausea is currently kicking my ass!

SpookyAllSeasons · 13/01/2025 11:50

Congratulations to you too. Flowers

No nausea or morning sickness just yet. Hoping to avoid it, but I know it's unlikely since I was quite sick with my son.

At the moment, I have very sore breasts, an increase in appetite and dizziness.

Hidden12 · 13/01/2025 11:59

Hopefully you will be able to avoid it. Did the sickness just last for the first trimester and did anything you do help? Open to any tips

NEMamato5 · 13/01/2025 12:58

Yes number 6, crazy mummy!
I haven’t told any of them yet and I probably won’t until I’m around 20 weeks, I had a missed miscarriage back in May at around 10 weeks so I want to be certain that all will be ok before telling them. I was the same with regards to the dates, thought I was 5 days ahead when I went so it could have been implantation bleeding, I fully expected the worst so I was surprised to see the little fluttering heart. I hope all goes well for you too, I feel my symptoms are still very much there I was very nauseous in Asda today, I couldn’t get out of there quick enough 🤣

Mine lasted from around 6 weeks - 18 weeks. However, from around 12-13 weeks, I started eating a couple of arrowroot biscuits every morning and it stopped the morning sickness in its tracks. But if I missed a day, I would be sick. Then from 18 weeks, I no longer needed them.

Mimibombini · 14/01/2025 05:23

Hey! I got my BFP on my birthday (4th Jan) and DD is 12th September. Im in Thailand atm and nausea is kicking my ass! I have a 7 and almost 5 year old and looking forward to our final addition!

Any mums with previous CC, ever had 3? Would love any advice!

Congratulations to all expecting! 💗💗

YKM2829 · 20/01/2025 10:04

Got my bfp Friday!!! Last period ended dec 17th. So docs will put due date around my birthday week so probably 26th September something like that.
But it could sneak into the 2nd of October depending on which day we actually conceived. It was definitely around new year but we had sex every day so could be any time that week really or even earlier tbh 🤣 we've been at it like rabbits tbh 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤣

Either way super excited!!!!

Anyone else already have symptoms??? Bit of cramping I've got loads of back ache and hip pain but I have that anyway and I think this is just making it a bit worse ATM.

Sore boob's, and some nausea and food aversions already to foods I usually love or eat regularly.

We always have a burger night 1s a week the same ones everytime and I couldn't even have it touch my tounge 🤣❤️

YKM2829 · 20/01/2025 10:07

Oh and I already have a 6yr old DD, and already i feel like this is slightly different. I had looooooooads of spots, and morning sickness was so severe I had regularly checks.

But I feel better this time round. Clearer skin, a bit of nausea but I can actually still keep food down this time 🤣 but it's still super early so it could come hit me like a tonne of bricks in a couple weeks 😬

Anyone else pregnant in a new relationship, so different dad this time round.
I can't help but compare symptoms and convince myself I'm having a boy this time. I know I'm psycho 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

marmiteontoastx · 20/01/2025 19:31

Ooo me! I'm sort of late to the party! Due 23rd September supposedly. Currently 5 weeks along.

Feeling very unsupported by the NHS - I've been watching so many vlogs on YouTube which are mainly US-centric and they seem to have so much better early pregnancy care. I've self referred to my nearest hospital but haven't heard from anybody yet. When I called the doctors they just said "fill in the form" - no congratulations - nothing. This is my first child.

I have decided I want to give birth in a different hospital slightly further away as my husband's mum lives close by to it and she's our only support but I can't self refer there unless I'm registered with local GP which I'm not.

Booked an early reassurance scan privately which is happening on 1st November. I really want to know if everything is okay! I've barely felt any symptoms but took a test again earlier and it was a dye stealer (see attached) so that made me feel better.

It's so alien that we don't get to talk to anyone until 8-10 weeks - I want to make sure I'm not too late for all the necessary tests etc and I'm sure the NHS website said you need to be 8 weeks along. If I don't hear anything after my private scan I will be calling and hounding.

Congratulations to us all ladies 🖤 I wish us all smooth and stress free pregnancies! if anyone has any tips for early pregnancy please send them my way! I've been binge watching pregnancy vlogs on YouTube since I found out lol.

I don't know if it's changed but that was standard when I had DD 6 years ago. Called GP and just went in to do their own urine pregnancy test, and then they booked my 10 week scan and didn't hear from anyone untill I had that.

This time around we are booking a 7 week early private scan because we're so excited (partner 1st my 2nd)

Hey! I am 5 weeks too - I went to the hospital's ( that I'm choosing) website, and filled out a self referral form. About 2 hours later I had a midwife call me with a booking appt date (where they take bloods and urine tests etc) and then my scan dates will follow in the post! It's really easy and straight forward. They also told my doctors too xxx

YKM2829 · 23/01/2025 07:12

I know most people will just say ring my GP at 9 and I will 😅😅😅🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️ I still haven't told them yet.

But what's this about just going straight to hospital for a referral and speaking to midwife straight away to get booked in?

Last time I had DD you had to ring up and get them to do their own urine test in the doctors then they booked me in.

Can I just contact the midwife unit i want directly myself????

It would be easier probably.

Or do I still need to see GP?

Thanks 😘
