Constant spotting early pregnancy

Just joined MN as hoping someone can share a similar experience as I’m driving myself crazy!
Currently 4+6 pregnant and have had a mixture of light bleeding and brown spotting most days from ovulation day to today.
GP said to wait it out as too early for a scan.
Has anyone had a similar experience and gone on to have a successful pregnancy? I didn’t have this with my first baby so I can’t help but worry.
Thankyou in advance!

Hi @Newbie1993 - I had this when I was pregnant with my son and actually thought it was my period. I also had some milder spotting when wiping at 6 weeks and again at 9 weeks. My son will be 2 next week and is the picture of health!

I am currently 4+5 and had some mild spotting at the weekend. Even though it happened last time and I know it's normal for me, it still isn't nice to see.

Hi there,

I am going through the same thing. Any update on how your pregnancy’s are going? Hope everything went well xx

@Rabbit47 I'm 17+4 now, everything is still fine here despite spotting.

Hi, mine just turned out to be a small haematoma that had resolved by the time I had my 12 week scan. I’m currently 18 weeks 😊
