Hi

so I know loads of people who get pip for mental health who have children but I applied as I have wrist weakness, underactive thyroid, b12 deficiency, reflux & ADHD

so I have to have medication every day and am exhausted I still look after my child but it is a struggle I. Explained that I’m anxious but still to work as I think staying in would make me worse don’t cook big meals as my partner does as my wrist gets worse and I’m easily distracted. My partner manages budget. I only drove to shopping with my partner and only place I go on my own is park as it’s local and once every few months I’ll go my friends house on my own. I said I can wash and wash my son but my partner runs bath for us as I’m just so tired by evening and my partner reminds me to take medication as if not I’m sick I’ll forget

I wasn’t awarded it so how do people get it, they was obsessing on me working and driving

I’d work full time but I can’t as by the 3rd day im
making lots of mistakes and exhausted

Sorry my English isn't up to scratch. It's not my first language nor is it my second. How distasteful of you. I wonder how many languages you speak? I'll go first 9. Well I thought I did apparently it's 8 plus a little bit of English according to you.

I never said you don't speak English but if you choose to build a straw man argument to go along with your ad hominem attacks that's entirely your choice.

I'm sorry you're finding this very mild exchange so triggering.

It sounds like your condition doesn’t affect you badly enough. I have stage 4 cancer and I’m not entitled to PIP either.

It's quite normal to be tired if you work full time and look after a small child. It doesn't mean you have a serious disability. Seems dreadful not to qualify if you have stage iv cancer. That's why I don't agree with PIP.

I really hope that you've been drinking tonight, and that you look back at your exchanges tomorrow morning in a new light.

Go well.

Ohhhhh that explains it. Your drunk 😂

I don't drink honey.

Hope you find some willpower.

I’m not in the UK, so know nothing about PIP, but your post concerns me about the medical care and treatment you are receiving. Chronic and severe B12 deficiency for example can cause neurological problems. My recent results were terrible. I’m now on regular injections, as some people don’t digest it well.
An under active thyroid and reflux should also be easily treatable. ADHD medication is also highly effective for most adults, although you will probably get more benefit once your physical health issues are sorted.

PIP aside, it sounds like you can have a far better quality of life, but you may need to change care providers and really advocate for things like B12 injections and a review of your thyroid and reflux meds!
