Easy at home lighter pregnancy lines

Hello,
I am 18 DPO today, this morning my line is lighter than yesterday morning, see both pics below (you can see the lighter amongst the two). Has anyone ever known this? I'm super anxious and wondering if this is something abnormal.

Did you do every test with your morning wee? I wouldn’t say there’s a lot in them to be honest, they all look pretty similar. Congrats 💖

I haven't got a comparison as i binned them, I'm on holiday so I have used each morning wee but I'm not sure whether I drank more etc? Xx

Thanks for checking in on me, it means a lot! This was my test this morning. However, I took a weeks indicator last Saturday and it was 2-3 weeks, I did another on Thursday and it was still 2-3 weeks :/ I shouldn't have done it sooner than a week but it's on my mind. Xx

Aw your test looks good to me sweety 😘 I thought I best check in as I’ve been through the same 4 times this year. Unfortunately my outcomes weren’t good. But my tests weren’t as dark as yours. 😘 do you have symptoms still? Xx

Oh no I am so sorry, what happened in your case? It's awful isn't it, I've had 3 previous poor outcomes too so I totally get how it feels. I have tender(ish) boobs but other than that I don't really have symptoms. I'm going to do another weeks indicator on Sunday as surely by then it should have increased. Xx

it proves that the tests don't mean much, after a bowel movement this morning I've got a very light pink tinged loss, not sure if you can see from the photos? This is how my previous miscarriage started :(. Here we go again.

@DC2023 this looks like discharge mixed with cervical fluid to me. First morning wee is usually darker too on the paper. I really hope I’m right hunny, lots of distractions and postive thoughts xxx

Hi 😘 aw that’s looks ok to me mine started with actual pink discharge.
ive just gone through my last one now. I was in London last weekend and I just felt like I had a black cloud over me. I had a little pink discharge (more than on your pic) then slight backache.
I watched my tests get lighter then I knew I was about to bleed. I was 6 weeks. But I am 44 and is to be expected I guess.
we will get there just need to find the right egg to fertilise 🥰.

Oh no, I'm so sorry you have been through it recently 😔. Have you got a picture of your pink discharge? I also think I have a bit of backache/lower stomach discomfort too now. I'm worrying. Xx

I just wanted to reassure you that your tests look like beautiful positives and that the pink on the tissue is also normal - it could be implantation spotting.

I do chick. I’ve attached it for you 😘 don’t over think the back ache 😘 it’s normal in early pregnancy.

Please don’t worry. I go for Bowen therapy for fertility and the lady who does it said to me nothing I can do will change the outcome of a pregnancy so early on 😘 xx

that pink happened last Sunday morning then nothing all day until about tea time when it started being brown then it turned dark red. ❤️ your tests look fine though. Mine had faded before I started to bleed 😘 xx

It could be - I had pale pink bleeding up to 11 weeks on and off and slight bleeding in early pregnancy is normal. Good luck and wishing you the best with your pregnancy

I had a bit of faint pink spotting and a big fresh red bleed too at about 5 weeks pregnant, terrifying. He's one now :) I knew implantation by the hour as he's an ivf baby, so had transfer on a Thursday, pink on Sunday and faint positive Monday, true positive Tuesday. Then I had pink and red bleeds, yet he stuck in there!

Just to say as I recognise a fellow anxious tester, look up something called the hook effect. Terrified me after getting dye stealers but diluted my urine and lo and behold they were back despite less urine in the sample. The hcg builds up too high for tests to cope with, this will be in a few weeks.

It's really hard to know for sure because many women bleed a bit all through pregnancy, some have implantation bleeding, some have a subchorionic haematoma and have a bigger bleed, so many factors and hormones. Best bet is to test first morning urine and when you're home go for an early scan (if you're still on hols). Although I had an early scan due to it being an ivf pregnancy and I led after from cervical irritation from the scanning wand as its an internal scan at that stage so I was stressed about that til I put two and two together! I paid for a private early pregnancy scan which they will do after 5 or 6 weeks and saw his heartbeat at 5+6 :)

It's certainly a teeny tiny bit for you and your tests are still strong so tentatively doesnt look like anything to be hugely worried about but it's hard to know. I'd say it's best to try and chill but I remember how I was in the early days, I couldn't sleep for thinking if testing in the morning 😅

your tests are so much darker than mine ever got 😘.
the one time I had a mmc my tests were very dark and I had brown discharge but I feel like you always know. Your gut tells you somethings wrong.
I can’t tell you to keep busy because it’s impossible, or to stop testing because I was doing it twice a day. But what did help me was thinking that even if my body was getting ready to abort it that there is reason for it. 😘 xxx

Hi! I didn't have much yesterday and then this morning have had this? What do you reckon? I may call the early pregnancy unit this morning but I have a scan booked for Thursday xx
