@HRP1990 Things we actually can't manage...or things we pretend we can't manage to get out of doing it?!... ๐Ÿ˜‡๐Ÿ˜‚

Things we pretend we canโ€™t, of course! Thisโ€™ll be my last pregnancy so Iโ€™m hoping to milk it as much as possible haha. However Iโ€™m not sure how comfortable I feel with him holding a razor to my non๐Ÿฅน I like a Hollywood but the vision scares me..

Xur · 25/05/2024 17:21

@HRP1990 closing sandals is becoming near impossible aswell. Like any sling backs..eeek. I was trying on shoes last weekend and did not enjoy putting my shoes back on.

Emmaev · 25/05/2024 18:47

Iโ€™m so glad youโ€™ve all said about swelling, my feet are getting swollen and being hyper anxious in regards to that, feel always on edge (despite the normal bp and clear urine)
damn all this fluid retention!

Ritagoestohollywood · 23/05/2024 17:47

@Honeyandsunshine1 ๐Ÿฅฐ girl 8 and boy 4 and baby due 21st September

how about you? X

Aww lovely! Do you know the gender of #3? Your tie breaker ๐Ÿฅน

I have boy 4 and boy 2, and this one is a girl which is super exciting ๐Ÿ˜

Lillers · 25/05/2024 22:15

@Emmaev I donโ€™t notice the swelling until I take my socks off and see the huge indentations round the top where theyโ€™ve dug into my legs! And thatโ€™s when I realise how swollen theyโ€™ve got ๐Ÿ˜ญ

Little one seems to have moved up a bit today because the kicks were higher - means I actually finally saw my tummy move when she kicked hard enough! When they were low down I couldnโ€™t see them because the rest of the bump was in the way. Sheโ€™s moved down again this evening but was nice while it lasted!

Ritagoestohollywood · 25/05/2024 22:51

@Honeyandsunshine1 Yea we found out too this time and she is a girl also super excited ๐Ÿฅฐ

o wow congratulations lovely!! X x

@TripleESept24 Esme ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’• that's really adorable, I know of only one and she's the cutest little thing with such a sweet name to match. Lovely choice ๐Ÿฉท

If we'd had a boy he would have had DH name with a second name of Finley.

Has any received any freebies yet? I went to town earlier today and called in Boots. I got the Emma's diary packs (1&2) and a free mam bottle and soother and breast pads from boots offers.

I just got this through the post - only had to pay for postage!

I have had a really down day today!! I am starting to feel huge and uncomfortable! My boobs are massive, my back hurts my shoulders hurt!

I had an eyebrow wax and tint same place I always go and I've always had waxes and I've had a terrible reaction and have two red strips of like burnt skin above and below each brow!!!! ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ค

I went to look at some prams this morning, I've seen a cheap deal on an egg 2 feather, so went to have a little go in my local pram shop. Anyone had an egg??

Lillers · 26/05/2024 07:09

Iโ€™m very used to waking up and finding Iโ€™ve rolled off my bbhugme and husband is cuddling it. Last night I woke up to find Iโ€™d rolled off and our cat was fast asleep sprawled all the way along it! It was incredibly cute but everyone knows the laws that you donโ€™t disturb a cat when theyโ€™re being adorable. So I now have to compete with 2 members of the household. I was mildly surprised because my cat has avoided bb ever since we got it - I think it reminds her of a giant snake. Oh well, sheโ€™s got over that now ๐Ÿ˜‚

rupertbear91 · 26/05/2024 07:26

I think I may have joined the braxton hicks club. I woke up at 4am my stomach was solid and felt like waves of tightening and I had quite a strong period like cramp lasted about 5/10 minutes then went away. I was really scared something bad was about to happen in my half asleep stare. Is that similar to what others have felt?

PoppingUp · 26/05/2024 08:34

@rupertbear91 yeah it was like a period cramp for me. The soreness radiating out a bit more than I'd expected, though I'd say mine didn't last as long as that. Deffo felt a bit alarmed by it and on high alert for a few hours after but have been fine since!

Khanga27 · 26/05/2024 11:07

I have a quick question on maternity clothing. Does anyone ever get discomfort from the top of the maternity band at the top of your tummy at all? Iโ€™ve had today even when not wearing them like a nerve-type discomfort at top of tummy, not sure if itโ€™s from the band rubbing on my tummy as Iโ€™m standing and sitting?

We are looking at the egg 2 bundles online, had a go with them at the Baby Show and they were definitely our favourite!

Cinai · 26/05/2024 12:42

We just got a second-hand egg. Canโ€™t share experiences because itโ€™s our first baby, but we instantly liked it so we went for it. We decided to go for second hand though just in case we realise that we want/need something different once the baby is actually here and we put it to the test.

TripleESept24 · 26/05/2024 16:33

@RachSmile I really like the look of them and seem easy to use!

@Cinai I am looking at refurbished good quality ones! Much cheaper

malimoon · 26/05/2024 16:53

We also have a second hand egg but it's our first baby so can only say we liked it when we tried it...

longingtobe23 · 26/05/2024 18:17

I am going heavy on the nesting already ๐Ÿ™ˆ

But worried I am starting too soon, because no doubt Iโ€™ll have to do it again after the summer holidays lol!
anyone else in a scrubbing and painting?!

Happylittlebump · 26/05/2024 19:38

@longingtobe23 I know what you mean nesting a lot cleaned so much at the weekend, and we have painted the nursery now. I have just bought the snuzpod as I found it on offer, and I have booked myself on some pregnancy yoga classes starting next week. Starting to all feel a bit more real now...

longingtobe23 · 26/05/2024 20:59

@Happylittlebump i am itching to start the nursery but on the count down for office to move first! ๐Ÿฅณ
I have got a Snuz pod already up to check it fit with all the new bits for our room ๐Ÿ˜‚

I might even squish in a redo of my sonโ€™s room too! Going wild but enjoying it ๐Ÿฅน

I still need to paint and wallpaper the nursery but also wanted to do something in my daughterโ€™s room to make her feel special ๐Ÿฅน. Iโ€™m hoping itโ€™ll get her excited to sleep in a big girls bed lol (hopefully we loves it so much she wonโ€™t get out of it at night lol)๐Ÿคž๐Ÿป

MudandMoet · 26/05/2024 21:10

@Honeyandsunshine1 thanks for the link, will get that ordered ๐Ÿ’•

@TripleESept24 how are your brows now? Hopefully better? They do say our skin and everything can change while pregnant. I have my roots done every 4th Wednesday and my scalp has not loved it these last three times!

I'm not sure it counts as nesting as it's outside but I'm absolutely cracking on to get the garden finished. It's not far off now, I want one big family party before baby arrives up there so I'm on a mission to get it all perfect. I do feel guilty spending so much time and money on it and not getting on with our baby list and stuff but I've got 13 weeks left yet so will sort it - right !!? ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ

SC126 · 26/05/2024 21:23

@MudandMoet we have also been doing the garden! Got weeks yet to sort a nursery, I want a nice garden for the summer instead ๐Ÿคฃ

WinsandSam · 26/05/2024 21:25

@TripleESept24 funny you say that. I had my brows and bikini done yesterday. I have burn/grazes under my brows where the skin must have come off. Used to get it when I used retinol but obviously can't now. Also my bikini feels much more sore than normal

TripleESept24 · 26/05/2024 21:36

@MudandMoet they aren't looking so bad...... I've been applying aloe Vera!

@WinsandSam omg! I use a moisturiser with retinol in it!!!! Always have!! It's never affected my brow wax before, but now you've panicked me about retinol because I haven't stopped using it and just googled it!!!!!! Is it really bad??? Am I gonna have to tell midwife next week ๐Ÿ˜ญ

longingtobe23 · 26/05/2024 21:36

I think the same. I want my son to feel special too and I also need to proof his room - it's lego wild ๐Ÿ˜‚

Also painted the fence and planted some new plants which dog promptly ripped up.. gotta love labs! But also with you all on the gardening... Don't give me more ideas ahhhh ๐Ÿ˜‚
All nice problems though. I havent booked another scan and I haven't got the itch yet .. anyone else got one around 28?
