Hi everyone not been on for a while not much to update. I also have been feeling really tired aswel this last couple of weeks like I can't get enough sleep.
My babies movements have been low down too and some on the sides, I am 24 weeks 1 day and still don't feel him loads and only feel him if I am sat or laid still.

@RitagoestohollywoodCongratulations, its my 3rd baby too, my other 2 are 12 and 8 (9 in September) then due 11th September

Ritagoestohollywood · 23/05/2024 10:20

@Fik88 o lovely! Congratulations I am getting movements all over one minute it is low and a grinding feeling then itโ€™s a kick/punch above me belly button, it makes me laugh how much she is wriggling about

is it just me who is getting โ€˜are you mad?โ€™ Comments My life is very busy but it does make me feel abit inadequate when people say that x x

Fik88 · 23/05/2024 10:29

Thanks, I wish mine would move more, I think he's lazy though my other 2 were the same though.

Some of my friends think I am crazy having another especially because both of my kids are older, they always say but you're starting all over again ๐Ÿ˜‚ I always said I wanted 3 though

Emmaev · 23/05/2024 10:31

25 week appointment went well, heard baby girls heartbeat and she was moving round like crazy. Midwife felt her too and sheโ€™s lying across my belly, not in my pelvis like I thought. Bp is also lower than my last appointment and she said that the way my bp looks at the moment doesnโ€™t suggest pre eclampsia which is music to my ears. Although I know how fast things can change itโ€™s great to hear. As this time last time with my daughter my blood pressure was getting higher and swelling was beginning to appear. So fingers crossed I make it past 34 weeks. All looking promising at the moment. Next midwife at 28 weeks

rupertbear91 · 23/05/2024 10:55

Can anyone explain how it feels when baby kicks the bladder. I haven't had much outside movement the last few days I think he's turned round but I keep getting this weird feeling like something suddenly makes me need an urgent wee then it stops and I am sure it's him kicking my bladder ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธ

Cinai · 23/05/2024 11:08

@rupertbear91 thatโ€™s what it feels to me!
Also, I can relate to your post about not being able to breathe in deeply, I had this for the past two days and it got me worried! Happy to report that this is better for me today, so hopefully that is something that comes and goes rather than our new normal!

WinsandSam · 23/05/2024 11:40

@rupertbear91 sounds like that! Literally feel like I'm going to wet myself in a second.. then it passes ๐Ÿ˜‚ sometimes two or three times in a row

HRP1990 · 23/05/2024 12:17

@Fik88 Iโ€™m having a boy and also due 11th Sept!

Ritagoestohollywood · 23/05/2024 12:33

@Fik88 yeah this little one has been a surprise (struggled to conceive with both previous 2) but I always wanted 3 too so I think itโ€™s meant to be and yea I think I am a little crazy so I wonโ€™t take the comments to heart lol x x

malimoon · 23/05/2024 12:36

I'm having my first but for those of you on their third - my brother and sister-in-law just had their fourth in Feb. Three girls and a boy, ages now 7, 5, 3, and 3 months. They are very busy but the kids are so funny and a real little gang! I think it's nice if you have the energy for it (but I come from a set of four siblings myself so I'm positively biased)

Ritagoestohollywood · 23/05/2024 13:06

@malimoon i love this, itโ€™s so nice to hear nice things! Yea itโ€™s hard and energy zapping but I also canโ€™t wait lol

Im one of three and I love my siblings x x

Jojod12 · 23/05/2024 13:38

Hi Ladies, just reading my scan notes and can see that baby is cephalic positioned and I've looked and it means baby is head down already. I am also being rescanned at 32 weeks as baby is low down and close to cervix. Doctors don't seem fussed. Has anyone else had any of these? I'm here thinking I'm going to go into prem labour!

Fik88 · 23/05/2024 16:09

@HRP1990 Due date buddies. Don't think mine will come then my other 2 were 15 days and 13 days late ๐Ÿ˜‚

HRP1990 · 23/05/2024 16:26

@Jojod12 I donโ€™t think itโ€™s anything to be worried about to be honest. Iโ€™m sure my daughter was head down very early too and I thought I was going to have her early.. but she was late lol.

@Fik88 yes same, 5 days late here! Iโ€™d prefer him to be born in Sept, so happy for him to hang on in there.. she says ๐Ÿ™ˆ not sure Iโ€™ll have the same thoughts towards the end!

mrsbgb · 23/05/2024 16:55

@Jojod12 I wouldn't worry about this, from what I've read most babies turn to be cephalic towards the end of pregnancy anyway (and that's where you want them to be for easy delivery!) - my baby has been cephalic at every scan and whilst I can feel him turn around a bit, from where I'm experiencing kicks/punches I think that's his preferred position the majority of the time.

Fik88 · 23/05/2024 17:04

@HRP1990 yeah I know what you mean then they get that extra time in school. Be nice if they are on time or a few days early though rather than late ๐Ÿ˜‚ haha yeah possibly not by the end

HRP1990 · 23/05/2024 17:06

Fik88 · 23/05/2024 17:04

Anytime from 1st Sept ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคช

SC126 · 23/05/2024 17:18

@Jojod12 also one to say not to worry. My son was like this so early on in pregnancy and head engaged at like 30 weeks. He was still overdue. I did get a lot of lightning crotch though not sure if related but you might have that to look forward to

Honeyandsunshine1 · 23/05/2024 17:39

Ritagoestohollywood · 23/05/2024 07:02

Ritagoestohollywood · 23/05/2024 17:47

BeautyAndTheBump1 · 23/05/2024 20:11

@Jojod12 My first was always head down, in the 30s was engaged and midwives commented how very low down he was.......he arrived at 41 weeks ๐Ÿ™ƒ๐Ÿ˜‚

This is probably something really silly, but is anyone else getting annoyed with people trying to guess the name of the baby?? Iโ€™ve had so much of it this week. Iโ€™ve said straight out Iโ€™m not telling anyone, and even if they guess it I wonโ€™t confirm it, but they (work colleagues) still keep throwing names at me to try to see my reaction. Itโ€™s really starting to bug me!

Decaffe · 24/05/2024 08:45

@Lillers, for me, the only one doing this is my DM. She absolutely cannot compute that we wonโ€™t tell her, sheโ€™s said things like she thinks itโ€™s terrible that she is my mother and yet I wonโ€™t tell her. She mentions it almost as soon as I see her (every couple of weeks), and she messages in the meantime about it. She will also make up names about the baby whenever she messages me, so it might be โ€˜How is Geoffrey Hubert today?โ€™ I think she thinks itโ€™s funny but I donโ€™t think it is.

Sadly, we know that she will be unkind about the (perfectly normal) name weโ€™ve chosen so thereโ€™s no way Iโ€™ll tell her. (When she saw the pushchair/travel system that DHโ€™s parents had kindly and generously bought for us, the very first thing she said was โ€˜what a horrible contraption, with big ugly wheels, itโ€™s not that colour is it?โ€™ (The colour is forest green, nothing out of the ordinary!))

Sorry, this may not have been quite the response you were expecting! But yes, it is very frustrating.

malimoon · 24/05/2024 08:53

I've just been telling everyone that we haven't chosen a name yet (we haven't 100% but there's a definite frontrunner) and then saying "but we're very open to suggestions" and then people get distracted listing all their ideas. Works for now but idk if that will get me all the way thru the pregnancy haha

PoppingUp · 24/05/2024 09:10

@Decaffe that sounds draining! My mum can be a bit of an accidental Eeyore and also tends to jump to saying something negative as her first response to things, though I've decided over the years that is more of an anxiety/communication thing on her part rather than her actual feelings!

We're really struggling to come up with names- it seems to be me suggesting them and DP saying he doesn't like them so far!
