Did you have many symptoms in early pregnancy?

I’m 9+5 and I found out I was pregnant at 4weeks, the only symptoms I have really had is sensitive boobs and being incredibly hungry. When did you all start to have symptoms? I also would feel a bit weird throughout the day which I’m not sure if it was nausea but I haven’t been sick and have been constipated and bloated.

also what does nausea actually feel like? Like your stomach is empty and a weird feeling in the back of your throat?

Is it normal to not have that many yet? I know all woman are different.. I would love to know when you experienced your symptoms!

I don’t even feel pregnant?!! I have a private scan booked for the 22nd and I’m really nervous.

Everyone is different, try not to stress too much. My best friend didn’t feel a single symptom at all her entire pregnancy, she said it was just like she was normal… just with a beach ball up her top by the end 😂
Personally, my boobs were quite sensitive quite early on. I was also sick from 5ish weeks which continued until week 38 I think. Vomiting multiple times a day for months is pants 😂

Every pregnancy is so different, I wouldn't worry about it. Morning sickness can vary from just feeling queasy and odd to vomiting so your empty stomach throat feeling could well be morning sickness.

Do come join us in the due November threads - there's a few with little to no symptoms, you're not alone https://www.mumsnet.com/talk/pregnancy/5045224-november-2024-babies-thread-3

With my first I felt intense nausea and extreme tiredness. Now 10 weeks with my second and have no nausea or tiredness, just very sensitive breasts and an insane hunger.

The spec for "normal" is quite broad!

Ps. I just worked out I'm also 9+5 today so, hello due date twin! My symptoms have just dropped off and I've had awful nausea so it's possible you've totally avoided the big morning sickness symptoms. Sounds like you've won the symptoms lottery!

Awww hey!!! Yes it’s so weird as some of the things I have been feeling I use to feel before I was pregnant so I just don’t know😅 I have also been looking for a November thread! I’m new to MumsNet so still not sure what I’m doing!! I have a private scan on the 22nd!

I didn't have any symptoms for any of mine apart from heartburn towards the end. I didn't even start showing until about 5 months.

No symptoms early on - so much so that I assumed I couldn’t be pregnant even though I was quite late, had just come off the pill, got married and gone on honeymoon! 🤣🙄
Basically I had zero sickness and felt quite normal. No tender boobs, no cravings, nothing. Tested and was flabbergasted!
But later on in the first trimester I did get the overwhelming exhaustion, just like I had to lie down and sleep. After that felt fine until delivery!

I’m 17 weeks tomorrow - occasional mild heartburn, a tiny bit of constipation and a couple of nights of insomnia but other than that I’ve had nothing. I forget I’m pregnant sometimes too as I’m not even really showing either (just look like I’ve been on an all inclusive holiday for a couple of weeks haha) I have digestive issues anyway so most of it is barely any different to pre - pregnancy.

I didn’t believe the 2 tests taken until I saw baby on the scan

Hopeful it continues!

Nope, no symptoms at all with both of mine. I did show around 15 weeks though.

I had no symptoms whatsoever with my first pregnancy (except no periods!), it was a girl. I was just very hungry and thirsty.

Baby two is a boy and I have been absolutely exhausted and very nauseous and sick.

Nausea for me feels like that horrendous feeling you have when you’re hungover. Like you know you need to eat and drink but physically can’t. Except it doesn’t last a few hours/a day.. it’s constant. I’ve always been so jealous of those with little to no symptoms during pregnancy because I get so many and so bad that I cannot enjoy it. I’m on my third and each time I’ve had morning sickness so bad I’ve violently thrown up multiple times a day until somewhere between 10-16 weeks. I feel relatively lucky this time as it did ease a lot at 10/11 weeks and by 13 weeks I felt relatively normal again. But I also get headaches, huge eczema flare ups, extreme exhaustion etc. I actually don’t particularly enjoy being pregnant at all because of it.

Much awaited IVF pregnancy so I knew very early and no symptoms at all honestly wouldn't have had a clue I was pregnant. 31 weeks now and all I've had is some light headedness and recently back pain due to ligaments stretching. I still don't feel pregnant a lot of the time and don't have a large bump at all but there's definitely something wriggling around in there!
I was so worried about not having symptoms but it's perfectly normal not to as long as things progress as they should that's all that matters.
