NotQuiteCockney · 30/03/2008 09:48

It's a dreadful experience.

Unfortunately, there really isn't anything medics can do to stop a (possible) miscarriage. It really sucks.

looneytune · 30/03/2008 09:48

Oh mate, so sorry about this I've had 2 threatened miscarriages and it's the pits with the waiting - always over a weekend too! RBH are pretty crap, I know! Is there anything I can do? I'm not too far from you. Have you got an appointment for Monday?

Lots of {{{hugs}}}

LT xx

eleanorsmum · 30/03/2008 10:22

Sorry to hear this, and that the hospital were not able/willing to scan you at the weekend.

Good luck for tomorrow.

crace · 30/03/2008 19:28

Why does it always happen at the weekend? I am so sorry EM - I am so hoping you get good news on Monday and lots of (((HUGS))) your way.

How are you doing?

keevamum · 30/03/2008 19:40

Poor you I had 2 mcs both at weekends. It sucks! But having said that also bled a lot with healthy DD2....fingers crossed.

tye · 30/03/2008 19:46

im 17weeks with id twins had this problem at 14weeks and got told everything the same as you so no exactly how you feel. in mycase i argued it that i wasnt going anywhere to sit and wait see what happens and after alot of fuss they brung out a portable scanner after telling me there was absolutley nothing they could do.
thing its terrible the way we are treated over something as sensetive as this.

good luck on monday hope all goes well for you both. x

MaureenMLove · 30/03/2008 22:49

crace · 31/03/2008 15:52

I am so so sorry... I wish there was something to say that would help, you aren't alone - please come and talk as much as you need to.

Thinking about you, you rest and take care of yourself.

MaureenMLove · 31/03/2008 15:55

Oh EM Give yourself time. Don't rush it. Its a horrid feeling, I know. I've been there twice too. Keep talking, we're here for you. x

ChipButty · 31/03/2008 15:57

You poor darling. xx

Jackstini · 31/03/2008 15:59

Oh em - I am so sorry this has happened to you. I remember that 'totally empty' feeling well
They will likely do a scan on Wed just in case they don't have to do the ERPOC, will keep fingers crossed you don't have to go through it.
Saying that, I did and you will find lots of MNers that did too to talk about it with.
Cry and post away - whatever helps.

Nelif · 31/03/2008 16:00

Really sorry to hear your dreadful news x

tinkerbell2 · 31/03/2008 16:07

so sorry emxx

cazzybabs · 31/03/2008 16:13

I am so sorry.I don't know if this wil help but I have had 2mc and my 1st thought after the 2nd was that I would never be able to have another baby...well I got pregnant again within 2 months aftef the bleeding stopped and now I am looking at her asleep on the floor.

I am also emotionally ready to remeber my other babies that didn't make it - so I am going to plant a tree in my garden to remember them.
