@Dogscanlookup he would eat my biscuit if I tried that 🤣🤣

Congratulations @MissMadam!

Just called the midwife and booked first appointment for two weeks time! She offered this week and I said no thanks it was too early 🤣

@Quolla pregnancy with a toddler this time round was worrying me! Like you my main symptoms last time was just exhaustion and I would be quite queasy in the mornings. I learned to slowly get up and eat a biscuit. This isn’t doable with a toddler around 😂
@DinoNuggetsRUs thank you, that is reassuring! Yesterday I was getting twinges, sharpish pains and my boobs / nipples are so sensitive. Plus I’m getting this sudden insane hunger pains where I need to eat within seconds like I had with my daughter. So I’m putting the sticks down and relaxing! If I haven’t of done that test I wouldn’t be worried at all.
@JNicko great news and good idea to stop testing! After yesterday I’m realising it’s just the worst idea to keep doing it, it’s not really helpful at all!

This is me with a very very active 2yr old, I remember feeling so tired with him all the time. I got those same cramps with him and now. Constantly checking your knickers every time you go to the loo.

JNicko · 15/04/2024 09:59

I'm 4w 6d today. All weekend Iv been so tired. Sickness on and off not much. But today I feel so crap. Constant sick feeling. My limbs feel heavy. So tired. Is this normal? I literally feel like Iv got hangover

I’m a day behind you and feeling sick as a dog 😅

JNicko · 15/04/2024 10:37

@CaptainCabinets ah really. I feel so rubbish today. I'm struggling at work 😩

Dogscanlookup · 15/04/2024 11:35

@MissMadam welcome and congrats! Hoping you get the clear positive you need for certainty! The checking the knickers .. yes! I developed almost a fear of the toilet with my last two pregnancy’s incase I saw blood. And sadly both times happened. This time I’m on progesterone so I feel more reassured in that sense
@Quolla exactly, imagine a slow wake up with a toddler then eating a biscuit while telling them they can’t have one 😂 I shoved a croissant down last night just before dinner because I felt so sick, and my daughter was so confused why she couldn’t have this same starter bless her.
@JNicko so normal! First trimester is hard…

Molly4689 · 15/04/2024 11:37

Hope everyone's doing ok today.

I'm bleeding lightly this morning - more pink discharge and after a bowel movement (sorry tmi but possibly relevant!).

I'm going to pick up my progesterone prescription as I was advised to start taking it only if I started bleeding. I'm not sure what to think as I bled around this time in both my previous pregnancies and one ended in miscarriage but the other was healthy.

Has anybody ever had bleeding after a bowel movement? I also have some left sided pain but minimal.

MissMadam · 15/04/2024 11:58

Did anyone have to take aspirin before? I’m trying to remember what week I started taking it from.

CaptainCabinets · 15/04/2024 11:59

Me too! I did another test as soon as I got to work as I’m still in utter disbelief 🤣 I keep feeling like I’m going to start my period so every time I go for a wee I’m crossing my fingers 😫 gonna be a loooong couple of weeks until I can have a scan to show me there’s actually a little baby in there!

JNicko · 15/04/2024 12:01

@CaptainCabinets I'm exactly the same! When I was pregnant the other few times which I miscarried I didn't feel like this at all. I keep testing and checking lines. Wish I had a dye stealer, that would defo help my anxiety 😦

Iamnotalemming · 15/04/2024 12:31

Morning All!
I've booked myself in with the midwife in 3 weeks (offered 2 weeks but will be on holiday). Was told categorically no early scans on NHS in my area unless bleeding / cramping.
Im down in London for work next week and thinking of booking private early reassurance scan while I'm there. There seems to be a lot of clinics, does anyone have any suggestions / recommendations?

@MissMadam i asked last time and was told not recommended unless over 40. Since I am now over 40 I am trying to find out same thing - what dose etc. Does it really reduce MMC risk?

That’s strange I was 37 when I was pregnant with DS and I was given low dose aspirin all the through. So not sure about the over 40.

dreammama · 15/04/2024 14:00

Quick update from me! Had my early scan today and baby was measuring bang on my dates at 6wk +5 ❤️ Saw a strong heartbeat too which was amazing. So unbelievably relieved, cried my eyes out in there. Praying it’s third time lucky for us with this one x

Bailem · 15/04/2024 14:13

@dreammama Aw wonderful news.

Is anyone else really cold? First couple of weeks I was red hot, but the last two weeks I am constantly cold. And still feel so so hungry!

JNicko · 15/04/2024 14:16

@dreammama that's fantastic! I'm so happy for you x

Hello! My private (Bupa) gynaecologist prescribed 150mg a day from the first positive test until 12 weeks. I’m 30 but had a MMC last Oct at 13 weeks. Got a BFP a few days ago and praying it’s a sticker!

JNicko · 15/04/2024 14:22

@Bailem no I'm boiling hot all the time 😂

Dogscanlookup · 15/04/2024 15:53

@Molly4689 i hope you’re feeling ok and not to stressed about the bleeding! The problem with bleeding is it can be so many different things, and sometimes normal! My friend bled and it turned out to be thrush which is so common in early pregnancy, it could be a progesterone on lower side so it’s good you have the pessaries! I’m on them too.
i think the bleeding wasn’t caused by the bowel movement, but it probably just encouraged the blood out and made it more noticeable. Call up your GP and get it checked either way! 🤞🏻

I have been on and off like that myself, from Friday I'm now getting horrible headaches I'm now 6+4, I'm seeing physio tomorrow as my legs have been feeling so heavy

Ah that is excellent news, do you have any more scans planned or just the 12 week scan now.

Hey, can I tentatively join please?

I had a miscarriage 4 weeks ago at 6+2 and I’ve just found out today that I’m pregnant again - with no period in between 🤦🏻‍♀️ so I have no idea how far along I am. I’m sure it’s a new pregnancy as I had negative tests on week 2 & 3 following the miscarriage, plus my bloods were going down during that time too.

My CB digital says 2-3 weeks and have a strong line for only 4 weeks so who knows!

If this pregnancy is dated from when I started miscarrying then my due date is Xmas Eve 🎅🏻

readyforroundtwo · 15/04/2024 18:10

Hi everyone,
I have just found out I'm pregnant today, calculation online says EDD 23rd December. This will be number 3 (eeeek!) unplanned but happy 😊

pinkpetunias · 15/04/2024 18:24

Hello, please can I join? 😊 got a bfp this morning after 5 cycles and will be my first baby. Flo puts my due date as 28 December, the clearblue digital said 1-2 weeks. It’s my birthday this week so this is a lovely present! Does anyone know when I’m meant to contact the GP? It feels too early!

I self-referred to midwives yesterday, just waiting to hear back! I had to call my GP earlier for a meds review as I was on a couple of things I know I can’t take during pregnancy so I’ve had to stop my heavy-duty painkillers for chronic back pain and been advised paracetamol as an alternative 🤯 fully expecting this pain to just get worse as I get further along so god knows how I’ll cope! I’ve self-referred for physio through work though so hoping that’ll help a little.
