I'm 4w 2+ and I feel terrible. Soooo tired, hot all the time and waves of nausea. Never really had this with my previous losses

JNicko · 12/04/2024 15:35

Molly4689 · 12/04/2024 15:30

I had a scan today. Dated 5+3 (I thought I was 5 +1) and showed a sac and and embryo. No heartbeat (as expected) but they're scanning me again next Friday so hopefully will see one then.

I feel so ill this afternoon, currently sat with my sick bowl 😩Is anybody else having nausea already? Hope everybody's feeling ok.

I bet you will see a little heartbeat on the next one 💓

Molly4689 · 12/04/2024 15:39

I hope so @JNicko I saw my little boys at 6 +2. He also had me throwing up every hour from about 6 until 20 weeks so sort of pleased to see this nausea 😂

Quolla · 12/04/2024 15:45

@UnicornPrincessSarah @Dogscanlookup you too!

Fit in a visit to the dentist today before any potential symptoms pop up 🤣 still doesn't feel real and we haven't told anyone (and won't for a while) so will see how the next few weeks go!

Dogscanlookup · 12/04/2024 15:47

@Quolla it feels like a bit of a dream doesn’t it… but then the way my boobs are hurting (and now my wee is luminous yellow?!) it feels very real indeed

Quolla · 12/04/2024 15:52

@Dogscanlookup it does! But then I got told off by my midwife at twenty weeks last time for "still not believing you're pregnant" 🤣🤣 so I have form for living in mild denial for a while. Didn't really hit me until I gave birth tbh 😅

Dogscanlookup · 12/04/2024 15:57

@Quolla haha 20 weeks! 😅 but I get it, I remember while I was giving birth to my daughter all I could think was “I’m not ready for this” because it felt so sudden (I was early plus my labour was around 2 hours..) and when I held her it felt like “what’s just happened” even though I had 9 months to prepare for this moment…

Quolla · 12/04/2024 16:03

@Dogscanlookup it's funny how it hits you! I had a 36-hour extravaganza labour and he was two weeks late so I was more like "FINALLY" 🤣

emmies86 · 12/04/2024 17:18

How is everyone? I Ended up in the early pregnancy unit with severe pain so they scanned foe ectopic. Luckily baby is measuring 5 weeks 4 days they found a yolk sac. Fetal pole and heartbeat and everything is in my uterus. I thought I was 5+5 today so only a day behind. I have another scan next friday at the hospital so I've moved my private scan from monday 15th to the 3rd of May.

Symptoms are still food aversion all meat except steak and duck. Craving pasta. My breasts are like bricks and so sore.

I did find out today that the more pregnancies you have the more pain you feel in early pregnancy so that's made me feel so much better. I hope it helps a few of you worrying aswell. I'm glad to see more people joining. Sorry I've been missing it's been horrible the last few days with the pain.

SammieJean · 12/04/2024 17:49

Hi all!

I found out I was pregnant last weekend, and discovered this post after the forbidden googling — I think I’m driving my husband mad 😅

I’m 31 and this is my first pregnancy. I estimate that I’m due around 12th-14th December.

I’ve booked an early viability scan for next week as I can still hardly believe it’s real! My only symptoms so far have been cramping, on and off nausea, and sore boobs — so it still just feels like I’m about to come on my period

Any advice to keep a first time mum calm in these first trimester weeks is very welcome!

icallshade · 12/04/2024 19:07

Hi all,
Has anyone developed a very itchy rash across their tummy and torso? Or in previous pregnancies?
I've had it for 2 days now red and blotchy and so incredibly itchy!
I'm going to call the midwife but we've just landed in Morrocco so can't do anything until Tuesday!

Lauren0506 · 12/04/2024 19:17

@emmies86 hey, glad it all got sorted for you! Iv had some niggly pains to and is my second pregnancy. Got the midwife on Monday I’m hoping for an early scan too xx

ninetales · 12/04/2024 19:21

@Bailem Lol if I could only not stand chocolate, I reckon I'd actually be eating healthily and would be on track to not balloon!!

@UnicornPrincessSarah Hmm no I've felt quite inflamed all over my body and had some round ligament pain/in the groin, but I generally walk quite a lot (hour or so a day) so the legs themselves are all good!

This afternoon I am deep in the bone-crushing fatigue!!!! My limbs feel like lead, I am incapable of stringing words together. If only I could nap, and if only acid reflux didn't keep waking me up at night and ruining my sleep hahah.

UnicornPrincessSarah · 12/04/2024 20:23

@ninetales Ah that is good

@emmies86 Yay that is excellent news hope all goes well at the next scan, interesting with my MC in 2007 i had no pains this pregnancy been having pains on and off and then fatigue

@SammieJean Welcome and congratulations

@Lauren0506 Hope everything goes ok for Monday for you x

@Molly4689 Sounds a bit like mine we saw the sacs but no fetal pole or heart beat, fingers are crossed all goes well for you Friday that you see everything then, have to wait till 24th April for my next scan

Todays Update i had a lot more energy and not really any symptoms got me bit scared now but I know symptoms can come and go, but now just gone 8.20pm I feel like I need my bed and eyes shutting so maybe catching up with me.

I am just pleased I finally managed to do some housework and gardening today and feel a bit more human as haven't had energy for the last 4 weeks or been able to do much housework

@SammieJean congrats! I’m also due around those dates, I think 14th dec. I Advice I always say is allow your emotions at this time! If one day you suddenly feel terrified or a feeling of being overwhelmed fair play! The next you could be so excited you don’t know what to do with yourself!
@Quolla eek 2 weeks over due and long labour! When you hit 35 weeks it starts to really feel long , can’t imagine 42

MotherofGods · 13/04/2024 12:56

Feel abot wobbly today yet to of got a 3+ still on 2-3 , first response is as dark as control line but clear blue hasn’t gone up?… apps say I’m 5.2/5.3 week xxx

Sheth86 · 13/04/2024 15:56

Hey Ladies!

Five weeks and three days here! Feel sick mainly in mornings. Can't believe how uncomfortable I feel, bloated and just achy!

I self reffered to the hospital like gp told me to. They want to do my first scan at 10 weeks which is really early I thought?

Haven't heard from GP midwife yet, not sure if to chase or if they will call me this week.

Hope everyone else is OK xx

Edited

With clear blue its tricky to get 3+ it all depends on your hcg level I found a post online a while back and the amount of HCG needed for 3+ was like 2000 to 3000 I think, read to some never did get 3+ and had there babys all ok

Hi does it say 10 weeks is a scan as i thought 10 weeks was normally the midwife appointment?

I still haven't heard back from my referral and I'm just over 6 weeks now I think just takes them a while to respond

Todays is deff darker so that is a good sign almost or maybe darker then the control line even

When I got my 3+ I was 5+3 also got a dye stealer this day to on a wondfo strip test then on 5+6 I had my bloods done and my hcg was 17999 not had them tested since, had a scan 5+5 to rule out ectopic as I was cramping and leg pains we saw the gestational sac and yulk sac, back on 24th April at 8 weeks to hopefully see fetal pole and heartbeat

@UnicornPrincessSarah when do I ring drs to book in, and i know cramps are normal as Somone have stated before but what do I do if I was wanting to get it checked for peace of mind? Do I ring drs or? Wouldn’t believe I had 2 kids would you, my brains drawn a blank 😂 xxx

So to see midwives and medical for pregnancy some are now self-referral online to your hospital of choice, I would contact your gp Monday and see what the guidelines are for your practice/ area as some GPS deal with the referrals and others its self-referral

I called my local EPU and said I was having pains and that I had a MC before so wanted piece of mind

Things deff get forgotten or change so its all different every pregnancy now lol
