Anyone else tested super early and due December 2024? This is my 2nd pregnancy after a mmc 2 days after my 12 week scan in December and actual miscarriage in January.

Hoping this will be the 1 that sticks and is healthy. Think my due date is Dec 3rd

Hi all -
Massive surprise for me this week with BFP test on Saturday. Dates working out for 2/3rd Dec eek.

Wasn't trying, wasn't expecting it - actually thought I was peri menopausal!!!!

Aghhh so 4 weeks 2 days pregnant! Terrified!

Based in west coast of Scotland

Hey everyone hope you’re all doing okay.

I am really feeling pretty rubbish, I have a lot of congestion and ear pain but my husband has cold symptoms too so thinking it’s a cold that has hit me a bit harder because of the pregnancy. Also feeling so fatigued.

This is my first pregnancy and I feel really anxious in case something bad happens. If anyone can share advice on how to keep your mind off it let me know. I have no idea how I’ll make it to 12 weeks at this rate 😂

I wish there was magic wand but this is my second pregnancy and I think I'm more anxious than I was last time!

Keep busy, sleep lots and try enjoy bits you can xxx

Hello hope I can join I may be due start of December or last few days of November but may be more in line in the group x

VNttc · 28/03/2024 06:16

Whyyyy do we torture ourselves with line progression? 🤦🏻‍♀️
Just did a boots early test (last did one last Friday at 9dpo and it was vvvv faint) and it wasn't the blazing positive I was hoping for so now obviously my whole morning is ruined 🙄 It is darker than before just not as dark as I wanted :(
Also it's very cruel that early pregnancy symptoms are so similar to period symptoms. Due on today and just feel slightly nauseous and a teeny bit crampy which I know is normal but still we worry.

MrsS11 · 28/03/2024 06:32

@VNttc I think it's pretty normal to not have a blazing positive on the day you're due? I've actually never got a positive before I was due (until this time), usually it's a few days of weird limbo. I have 3 very larger than life kids to show that line progression doesn't mean too much 😊 obviously that hasn't stopped me worrying about it this time too!

If it helps my tests in my last pregnancy were never crazy crazy dark and never a dye stealer. Also had zero symptoms but my 4 year old is very very much here and healthy! Sending you lots of sticky thoughts xxxx

VNttc · 28/03/2024 08:02

Thank you lovely people! It has put my mind at ease 😁 I really don't miss this stage of pregnancy from last time!

I personally didn’t find boots tests got dark as quickly as the first response old tests use to. This is my four day progression which really worried me.

dreammama · 28/03/2024 14:32

Hi ladies, please can I join? 😊I have been testing positive since last Friday, so I'm currently 4wk+1! Very anxious and cautious about getting excited as I have no children but have had 2 early losses - 1 miscarriage at 8/9 weeks and 1 CP. Also went for private tests after the 2nd loss and found to have an under-active thyroid so took a break from TTC for a few months whilst I was getting my levels in check.

Really hoping this bub sticks! Due 4th December x

UnicornPrincessSarah · 28/03/2024 18:40

@dreammama Hi pregnancy twin im due either 4th or 5th and either 4 weeks or 4 weeks 1 day and got my first faint positive fri 22nd March
I have suffered a loss to at 7 weeks so scared now to but don't want to get to stressed and cause myself more issues.

praying for sticky and health baby's for us x

NphysT · 28/03/2024 19:09

Hi all, sorry I've been a bit quiet on here. Have been exhausted all week the moment I've gotten home from work and wanted to just sleep. Had a bit of a cry yesterday as I had been trying to make an appointment all week at the Dr's to get the higher strength folic acid and they wouldn't give me 1 for after work (4:30 onwards) until today. 1st time I haven't felt and felt stressed this pregnancy was going to end like my last. They also told me they won't refer me to epu to get an early scan because I've only had 1 loss so planning to book a private scan for when I'm 7-8weeks like last time.

Not got many Symptoms except for feeling tired and having an intense craving for jacket potatoes.

Lovely to see so many joining the group. How are we all doing?

I’m ok. 4+3 here. I’m noticing feeling even more tired than normal and hungrier. Low level nausea and a bit emotional.

in the middle of a big fight with my OH which isn’t very nice! I feel more fragile and would like him just to be being nice

Hey all 👋

May I join? 4 +0 today I believe my due date is 5th Dec!

NC believes AF is due tomorrow, so feeling a little anxious even though I have been testing positive everyday since the 23rd and lines and are progressing well.

I feel bad… but I can’t allow myself to get excited and can’t even believe I am pregnant. I’m even too scared to input my positive tests into my various apps 🤦‍♀️I had CP in Jan, in Feb had a indent line that gave me false hope and it was faff changing my apps back to not pregnant it made everything so much worse.

I am also not getting many symptoms just mild tiredness and bigger tender boobs but nothing I wouldn’t expect before AF.

Anyway I am really trying to relax and I have already found your advice@NphysT useful, it would be great to just take each day as it comes and enjoy this moment and also nice to have some buddies along the way!

congratulations to everyone praying for a happy and healthy 9 months 🥰🥰

Wise0wl · 28/03/2024 21:57

@NphysT I’m so sorry your GP are being so unaccommodating, it’s so unfair. I did an online consult form thing at mine and they prescribed the higher strength folic acid straight away. If you have any spotting at all then do get back in touch with them as you should be referred to EPU for a scan on the basis of a recent MC + spotting. I hope you don’t need it - but thought you should know!

I’m feeling really tired with giant sore boobs otherwise no symptoms, which is a bit unnerving!

@NphysT I’m sorry I feel like a right old AH for my message, I have just read your message about your GP I must have been typing my message before I saw it. I am sorry to hear about your GP :(. I will be doing a private scan too as definitely won’t be eligible. Praying for a happy sticky one ❤️

May I ask why you and @Wise0wl are getting the higher strength folic acid? Never even thought to ask the GP x

@UnicornPrincessSarah hello my fellow pregnancy twin how are you feeling and getting on?

Sending everyone peace and love for this Easter weekend 🥰 any good ideas to hide the fact that your not drinking ?🥸

Sorry to hear you're in a big fight with your OH. I think it's sometimes hard for them to understand that the 1st trimester is a really hard part of the pregnancy for us with all our hormones changing because they see no bump and we've not had a scan yet.

Welcome and congratulations! I think it's still quiet early for any 'big' symptoms and even then we could end up with none and go on to have very healthy pregnancies. I'm glad my advice is helping. Have you done a digital? That's what's made it feel real for me, I didn't log the pregnancy on the apps until that point.

Thank you @Wise0wl will definitely do that if that ends up happening. Have you contacted EPU yet about an early scan or anything? I'm sure we'll be regretting saying we have barely any symptoms in a few weeks when the morning sickness comes. Although I'd quite like all the sickness purely for reassurance!

That's ok! You need a higher strength folic acid if your bmi is 30 or above as theres a slight higher risk of neural tube defects that folic acid reduces the risk of.
Afraid I don't have any ideas on how to hide you're not drinking as I don't drink any way! Could you maybe pretend to drink and pass it your OH or something?

@NphysT feeling good and a lot calmer thank you! I just went for an acupuncture session and have found those really helpful with just allowing myself to relax for an hour. Obviously very cautious but got everything crossed for this one x

That's good, I'm glad! Never had acupuncture before, is it meant to be good to have in pregnancy?
