Anyone else tested super early and due December 2024? This is my 2nd pregnancy after a mmc 2 days after my 12 week scan in December and actual miscarriage in January.

Hoping this will be the 1 that sticks and is healthy. Think my due date is Dec 3rd

Hi everyone, can I (tentatively) join?
I got a faint positive on easy @ home today, 11dpo. I couldn’t believe it so did another easy @ home and a clear blue and got a faint line on both.
This will be my first baby if it sticks, and this is my fourth month ttc. I haven’t told my husband yet as I am scared to fully believe it, going to do another test tomorrow.
I think I will be roughly 4 weeks tomorrow and due around 3rd dec 🤞

Hi @KitKat791 very similar to me!
First baby here too. Did you do a test this morning?

@NphysT Thank you 🙏🏻 sorry to hear you had a mmc in the past - the possibility of mc is on my mind a lot at the moment - I’m terrified it could happen!
Symptoms wise I just feel very bloated

KitKat791 · 24/03/2024 16:18

@MaybeWeShouldGoToEastbourne congratulations to you, how are you feeling?

Yes I tested again this morning, it was still faint but darker than yesterday. I am 12dpo today, just told my husband and he can’t believe it. Just don’t want to get our hopes up too soon.

Have you considered doing a digital? I found having it written in front of me in words was very reassuring x

KitKat791 · 24/03/2024 16:37

@MaybeWeShouldGoToEastbourne yes definitely, but I wondered whether it’s too early to get a positive on digital since it’s so faint. I don’t want to see a negative but I might do one tomorrow.

Try the first response 1s. The digital is 1 you can test 5 days before a missed period. I got a positive on there at 9dpo.

Thank you, I'm feeling surprisingly calm at the moment. I know it can happen again but I know I can either feel stressed about something that is oout of my control or choose to enjoy this pregnancy and this baby. I'm still testing almost daily which is also helping but once I get the 3+ on a clearblue I'll stop like last time. Do you think you'll get an early scan for reassurance?

Is anyone else having lower back pain?

Started a couple hours ago and can only relate it similar feeling I had at the start of my CP in December 😕 feels like AF is coming. I'm only 3+6 and everything reading online is conflicting. Articles all say perfectly normal, that it's muscles and internal organs stretching out and getting ready, but actual people posting on Reddit and message boards end in miscarriage.

Gaaaaaah I honestly wish I didn't make being pregnant so damn stressful! Be good to hear if anyone else is having/has had this previously?

Wise0wl · 24/03/2024 17:14

@NphysT are you testing daily using the same types of tests? I’m feeling nervous that my line isn’t as strong as I’d like it to be but as I don’t know when I ovulated it’s difficult to know what it ‘should’ be.

@GoldDustWoman90 not back pain, but also mild period type twinges. I think we need to accept we’ll be second guessing everything, all the time. Are you going to get an early scan?

GoldDustWoman90 · 24/03/2024 17:17

@Wise0wl I will be yeah - I'm under the fertility clinic so the last two times I've had a CP I was invited to a 7 week scan to check progress, just both times it ended before then.

I haven't told them I'm pregnant yet as I wanted to get past the 5 week mark (the longest period I've gone) but might give them a call tomorrow

I'm also on progesterone supplements and apparently they can mimic period symptoms. Clinging on to everything right now!

Wise0wl · 24/03/2024 17:57

@GoldDustWoman90 that’s good that they’re keeping an eye on you. I’m under the EPU and on progesterone too! I know they’ll want to scan me before prescribing more so I’m deliberately not going to get in touch with them until towards the end of next week (when I should be nearing 6 weeks) as I figured I’d rather be scanned nearer 7 weeks. Fingers crossed for you lovely 🤞 x

I'm using the easy@home tests for line progression and scanning onto the premom app but I've done a normal boots test today too which isn't an early 1 as I would have got my period today and that showed a line. Last time I or weeks. Are you testing in the morning or evening? I've personally found mine are darker in the evening. Hcg doubles every 48hours I think so maybe check in a couple of days to see if they're getting darker?

@GoldDustWoman90 I've not really had backache just odd cramps that come randomly. I think it may just be a normal part of everything relaxing and stretching to grow x

Hello can I join please? Tentatively, it still feels sooo early but I've been testing positive since Wednesday although period was only due today. Feeling knackered, nauseous, all the fun stuff. This will be baby number 4, with a 9y, 6y and 19m old already. I am also still breastfeeding, but hoping to wind down before this one arrives as I've done tandem feeding before and I just don't think ive got it in me again. Think I'm due 1st December:)

VNttc · 25/03/2024 08:45

Hello!
Would love to (tentatively) join after a few vvvfl on easyathome tests. I'm 13dpo but ovulate early so that puts me at 3 weeks today technically.
2nd time around and have a 2 and a half year old little one who caused me a super stressful pregnancy last time with bleeding, lots of scans and being breech at the end 🤦🏻‍♀️

Been feeling a little crampy and nauseous, nausea I'm not sure if it's just anxious/excitement 🤣

UnicornPrincessSarah · 25/03/2024 15:19

Hi Ladies

Tentatively Jjoing, it still early for me as AF due Wed/Thur but I've been testing positive since Friday and getting faint positives, waiting till end of week for digital

You are currently at week #4 (3 weeks 4 days or 25 days) of pregnancy.
The estimated due date is Dec 5, 2024.

I had a MC at 6/7 weeks when I was 18 now 34, 35 in June and little bit scared as my lines do seem faint but normally darker in the evening for me but never as dark as the test line, but gaved and tested this morning 13 DPO on SMU on 2.5 hour hold

Hello @MrsS11 @VNttc & @UnicornPrincessSarah how are you all feeling?

VNttc · 25/03/2024 18:53

Hi @Wise0wl !
Feeling okay but still a bit in disbelief really. Did a FRER today on a 4 hour hold and it was a bit more obvious but I know they're more sensitive than easy at homes.
Trying not to get too obsessive with line progression and symptom spotting like I did last time 😬
Are you booking an early scan?

Herewegoagain0 · 25/03/2024 19:43

Also tentatively joining - bfp this afternoon with a 5 Dec due date. This will be baby number 3 for me! X

Wise0wl · 25/03/2024 20:16

@VNttc do you know whether you might have similar challenges with another pregnancy with bleeding etc? I hope not! I will definitely be getting an early scan as I’ve had two MMCs, but am aiming to wait a few more weeks until then. Still doing a FRER every other day in the meantime 😂

hello @Herewegoagain0 & tentative congratulations. How old are your first two? X

KitKat791 · 25/03/2024 20:18

Hi all, looking for advice. 13dpo and got a bfp on clear blue digital today (been testing faint positive lines since Saturday). I told my mum tonight she is a midwife and she advised to wait two weeks before contacting GP as it’s still super early.
Just looking for advice from those who have been pregnant before, she knows lots about the end of pregnancy but a long time since she has dealt with the early stages!

MrsS11 · 25/03/2024 20:31

Aw glad I'm not the only, erm, experienced mum here!
KitKat it depends on where you live, some places wait and some don't. It won't hurt to ring and ask what they do.

UnicornPrincessSarah · 25/03/2024 21:24

ladies has anyone had this happen with their clear blue test showed BFP within 1 min of doing the test and now 10 hours later my line has vanished
AF due Wed/Thur I'm 11/13 dpo was done with SMU

Herewegoagain0 · 25/03/2024 21:32

@Wise0wl they’ve just turned 4 and 2. Assuming this one sticks, it’ll be our last 🤞🏻

Wise0wl · 25/03/2024 21:52

@KitKat791 I’ve never got in contact with my GP, just self referred to the hospital. I think it works differently depending on where you are. My view is that I’d rather be on their books in case there’s lots of demand for scans and things, but I think the rule of thumb is to register before 8 weeks. So plenty of time!

@UnicornPrincessSarah yes I’ve had that before with CB tests. I’d recommend getting a FRER or other pink dye test, I’ve never used them personally but heard Boots own brand are good.

🤞 for a sticky bean for you @Herewegoagain0!

UnicornPrincessSarah · 25/03/2024 21:56

@Wise0wl I have a pink asda and clear and simple but 25 mui needed n ot sure when I should have that amount?

Wise0wl · 25/03/2024 22:03

@UnicornPrincessSarah from a quick Google, the clear blue one you used is 10 miu (which is the same as Boots own brand). FRER is 5 miu, this is what Google says about 25 miu:

For example, tests claiming 25 mIU/ml sensitivity were declared to be > 99 % accurate from the day of the expected period and capable of detecting pregnancy up to 4 days before the expected period.

so maybe wait until the day your period is due? When is that?
