Anyone else tested super early and due December 2024? This is my 2nd pregnancy after a mmc 2 days after my 12 week scan in December and actual miscarriage in January.

Hoping this will be the 1 that sticks and is healthy. Think my due date is Dec 3rd

No back pain fortunately but just generally uncomfortable around my tummy with bending over or when I'm putting socks or shoes on.

Baby has been so wiggly the last couple of days

I'm 30 weeks on Saturday and have started to feel quite emotional about all the impending change and the birth, it actually feels like it's getting closer now and I'm praying this baby is early as I don't want to go through the wait I did with my daughter (12 days) which was so stressful that I'm frightened of it happening again

28 weeks this week and apparently baby is breech. I know they have a lot of time to turn but it still makes me nervous! 😟

Firsttimetrier · 09/10/2024 08:39

@Lunamoon23 I’m starting to think sciatica as well as I had shooting pain down my legs/up my back just doing the nursery run now. Meant to be in the office today but come home to see if I can get a physio (are they the best people for this?) to have a look on my lunch.

Currently lying on the floor and my back just cracked, so hoping that’ll help 😬🤢

I'm 30 weeks on Friday and baby is breech here too. Check out "spinning babies" online, I've been doing their suggestions and I do think baby has turned at points but then flipped again. My kicks change from pelvic to ribs. Just need baby to start preferring the head down position!

Yeah it sounds as though it is! Where you're getting it is exactly where I have it. I also get in down my right leg especially. And if I get up from a sitting/lying position after being there a while it seizes up and I can't walk to begin with, then it loosens up a little and is ok.
My midwife said it's from things moving/stretching and your posture. Of course when you have a big bump you tend to arch your back naturally. Which is true, I do find myself doing this if I consciously pay attention to it. But it should also resolve itself post birth. 🤞🏼

I also find if I lie down in the floor there is a massive relief. But, it doesn't resolve it.
Did you manage to get into a physio?
Oddly I'm in my feet all day at work, and it causes me no problems then!

If you look up the statistics of them turning, it's very unlikely they will still be breech by 36 weeks.

I know I keep harping on about this podcast, but there is actually an episode all about breech birth which I listened to recently and they were talking about all the things you can do to turn baby

It's called Birth Ed and if you go to series 1 it's the third episode. It might reassure you x

CatCaretaker · 10/10/2024 13:06

@RedRobyn2021 I've just added that to my podcast list.

Thanks so much for your reply! I had a scan today and to my surprise she is actually head down and right next to my bladder ☺️ x

Anyone else starting to feel like a proper chubster now? 😂

31 weeks on Monday and certainly can see a difference in my face, ass and legs! My husband keeps telling me my hips have widened too. (Not in an offensive way)

This is such an alien feeling.x

RedRobyn2021 · 11/10/2024 19:42

@Bluesea14 brilliant news ☺️

RedRobyn2021 · 11/10/2024 19:44

@Lunamoon23

I waddle when I walk my dog 🙈- 30 weeks tomorrow

Also when I sit on the floor and cross my legs with my toddler it is so uncomfortable. I've just climbed out of her floor bed, and it is soooo uncomfortable too.

Hahaha it's a joy isn't it. I'm definitely finding it harder to get up when croutching down now. I get out of breath quicker and I find the colder weather is making that worse too 😂 I just can't get over how different I look. I don't know what I was expecting ... 😂😂 just get a shock everytime I clock myself walking past a mirror. I think it's my face mostly, I feel huge in the face. My husband says he can't see it but I think he's being kind lol.

LilyJessie · 11/10/2024 21:12

@Bluesea14 great news 😁

Orangeroses243 · 12/10/2024 03:29

29 weeks Sunday. Hip and back pain awful when sleeping at night flipping from one side to another!
Have an extra scan on tuesday as measured big at midwife appointment. Maybe a heavy baby or just normal for this stage! (First timer writing this early hours as uk aching again ahah!)

Also ladies I purchased the peri prep oil as found out his week massage there helps with birth and not to tear!! - never even did I know the name or would have known to do this! Just came across it online! - Any experienced mums do this and found it helped!?

@Lunamoon23 I have managed to keep alot of the weight gain to bump only so far so I assuming I am going to start ballooning when I get over 30 weeks?? I really would expect to the amount I scoff down 😂😂😂
I mean I have gained a bit of extra weight on bum and topnof legs and I'd say my muscle tone has diminished as I used to run all the time but I must admit I expected to be alot rounder all over but seems to be minimal for what I eat and how much I am unable to move as I do have a rather large lovely belly and boobies 😊😂 x

Firsttimetrier · 12/10/2024 07:00

I think the only ‘lucky’ side effect of having gestational diabetes is that I’ve managed to maintain my booking in weight, so not feeling too heavy atm.

@RedRobyn2021 my toddler is relentless and loves playing dogs where he crawls around on all fours and loves us joining in. Safe to say I’m more like an elderly dog and very slow as I’m so achy at some points 🤣

@Orangeroses243 I didn’t use it with my first but still got and will try this time as I’m aiming for a VBAC and trying everything possible for a smooth vaginal delivery. I’ve got an Anibal which I’m going to use as heard good reviews from friends that it helped minimise tearing!

RedRobyn2021 · 12/10/2024 07:15

@Orangeroses243

Is that the expert midwife peri prep?

I used this in my first pregnancy and didn't tear! But I did also have her in water which is meant to help. I also didn't have any coached pushing I just listened to my body.

I am going to do the perinatal massage again this time but I had to get my partner to do it last time because I couldn't reach 🙈 I actually found it a bit embarrassing but we persevered

RedRobyn2021 · 12/10/2024 07:18

@Firsttimetrier 🤣 elderly dog 🤣

CatCaretaker · 12/10/2024 08:39

I've been very slow to put on weight, and have only expanded around the belly so far (28 weeks). That has been very sudden it feels like. A few weeks ago people couldn't tell I was pregnant, now I'm huge!

I woke up this morning with what feels like a pulled muscle type feeling below and slightly to the left of my belly button. Has anyone has something similar? Should I be worried? It feels like it's on the surface, just under the skin, rather than deep in my belly. When I breathe in deeply and stretch it is when it's sore.

OnNaturesCourse · 12/10/2024 13:04

@CatCaretaker i have that on and off, tends to be after I've maybe overdone it the day before. Had it in all my pregnancies and so far it's never been a concern with midwives.

Orangeroses243 · 12/10/2024 15:52

@RedRobyn2021 yup that's the one. It's arrived today but I think they say to start using it 32 weeks plus?

CatCaretaker · 12/10/2024 16:17

@OnNaturesCourse thanks, it's eased off a bit during the day, and the other side joined in briefly which actually reassured me! Plus baby is moving as normal. It's probably just abdominal stretching or something like that. She's growing so fast!

I'm not 100% but I thought you could start anytime, I don't remember waiting to start tbh

MrsNT · 12/10/2024 17:34

Hi. I'm due in January but the Jan 2025 group is not very active lol
Is there a FB or WhatsApp group for this group ?

CatCaretaker · 12/10/2024 18:45
