Anyone else tested super early and due December 2024? This is my 2nd pregnancy after a mmc 2 days after my 12 week scan in December and actual miscarriage in January.

Hoping this will be the 1 that sticks and is healthy. Think my due date is Dec 3rd

@littlepanda88 ah that's brilliant - thank you, does it go in the upper arm? As someone who hates needles I'm really disliking being poked and prodded for bloods and vaccines constantly 😂 and awww day after me! Do you have any feelings what sex it maybe? I'm convinced I'm having a boy!

vanillaiceice · 21/07/2024 04:17

Hey everyone.
im 19+4 and noticed now large green and blue bruise marks on my belly. Does anyone know if this is normal?
its not stretch marks

RedRobyn2021 · 21/07/2024 08:37

@AbbiL0u glad it went well ♥️

I haven't got my 20 week scan for another 2.5 weeks, the wait feels endless

RedRobyn2021 · 21/07/2024 08:38

Lunamoon23 · 20/07/2024 14:56

@AbbiL0u are you not finding out the sex?
Mine is a week on Monday! Super excited! We're finding out the gender, it's our first and I'm itching to be able to go out and buy stuff haha!

Also ladies, anyone that's had the whooping cough vaccine before? Did you experience any side effects? I know sometimes vaccines can make you feel unwell. X

I had it a couple of weeks ago and with my last pregnancy, no side effects at all and it didn't even hurt

I'm not sure if it's normal

But I do know pregnancy can make your skin darker in areas. Can you message your midwife?

Nope we are waiting it out, which we did with my first too and loved it so gone for it again! I was tempted this time to try and explain to DD and help her understand, but she’s only 20 months so we felt she probably won’t really get it anyway 🥹

I had the whooping cough vaccine at the scan, also no side effects apart from an achy arm after (but not too awful, still can lift above your head etc.). I’ve seen someone else comment that it didn’t hurt and I agree!

@RedRobyn2021 hope your scan goes well lovely, the waiting is the worst! Let us know how you get on! X

Are you sure this isn't veins showing through as your skin is stretching and opposed to bruising? X

LilyJessie · 21/07/2024 11:32

Are people starting to show?
I'm not sure if it is a bump, or I'm becoming a chunk...

I've got a very noticeable bump now. No mistaking that I'm pregnant at 19 weeks, I've had a visible bump from about 15 weeks though I think but I was very petite beforehand xxxxx

Yes it's my second and I'm definitely much bigger than last time. People are noticing I'm pregnant

Hi December people! I’m joining late but keen to connect with others due the same time. Do you have a WhatsApp link or FB link you’re using for the group?

@AbbiL0u has set up and Facebook group which a couple of us are now in. I've tagged her so hopefully she'll pop by and see and add the link - the link does expire quite quickly though so keep an eye out. X

AbbiL0u · 25/07/2024 08:57

No it was proper bruise marks
I called the midwife and she wasn’t concerned. My 2 year old had been jumping on me that day so the bruises must’ve been from that.

I had my 20 week scan yesterday so everything is gr8 thank G-d
was absolutely amazing to see the little one inside
I’m in love already 🥰
Just my arm is sore and painful to touch after having the whooping cough vaccine

My belly feels really big, I'm having to wear maternity jeans/dungarees and loose fitting dresses because anything pressing on my tummy is uncomfortable

I feel like a chunk tbh, I definitely wasn't this big with number 1

19 weeks tomorrow 😊

RedRobyn2021 · 25/07/2024 19:36

1.5 weeks until my 20 week scan and I'm finding out the sex, I'm so nervous and desperate to know. Feels like I've been waiting forever

Lunamoon23 · 25/07/2024 20:31

@vanillaiceice oh good! Least it was nothing worrying.

It's a wonderful feeling seeing them isn't it, I've got mine on Monday, finding out the gender too! Although im convinced I'm having a boy already - so will be shocked if it's not!

Also meeting with the consultant on Monday regarding my elective c section and have my whooping cough jab and a blood test booked in too!

I've got mine in 3 days! Can't wait ! Although already convinced it's a boy! But feels like I've been waiting forever, guess that's the downside on finding out your pregnant so early 😂

RedRobyn2021 · 26/07/2024 17:24

@Lunamoon23 yeah that's the problem isn't it 🤣 I've known since 5 weeks

I have a girl already and I think this one might be a boy, but I actually would really like another girl 🙈

LilyJessie · 26/07/2024 19:58

We found our little baby was a girl 💖

We have had quite the journey to get here, two babies who were very poorly and had to be tfmr and a late miscarriage.
I've had so very many scans and tests this time and she has grown perfectly.
Had a panic the other day as coming up to the time I lost our boy last year, but hopefully all is okay this time.
I so hope this goes right and I meet her in December!

I don't have Facebook so can't join the group! But be great to keep chatting away here when people can ☺️

HopefulElle · 27/07/2024 08:34

Lovely news @LilyJessie 🤍 we’ve had a tough journey too and it makes it so hard to relax and be excited doesn’t it? Getting past 20 weeks feels like a huge milestone though! Hope everything goes well for you from here xx
