Anyone else tested super early and due December 2024? This is my 2nd pregnancy after a mmc 2 days after my 12 week scan in December and actual miscarriage in January.

Hoping this will be the 1 that sticks and is healthy. Think my due date is Dec 3rd

Anyone else suffering from daily headaches? They started at exactly 11 weeks 😖

Yes, I was getting headaches daily between weeks 10-13. They've eased off now but I've never been a headache sufferer. I found making sure I was drinking plently and more of fluids did help though. But thankfully they've pretty much stopped now at 14 weeks xxxxx

Hello all,
I'm 13 + 5...
I am waking up at stupid o'clock every day! And feeling very fat!!
Anyone else the same?

Congratulations everyone ❤️

AbbiL0u · 21/06/2024 12:58

Congratulations @LilyJessie! I feel the same, and waking up in the middle of the night often. I dislike this point where my clothes feel tight but maternity clothes feel too big 😩

Also just wanted to share the Facebook group again if anyone would like to join :)

@AbbiL0u yes I feel like some of my regular clothes are too tight so to be on the safe side I'm just wearing loose things, and have even started to wear a few - less obvious - maternity things. I know there's no risk from clothes being tight but it is unpleasant.

It is so unpleasant, and it does feel like baby will be getting squashed doesn’t it!! I’ve started to get my maternity bits out, and the beauty of this stage of pregnancy in the summer - floaty dresses! 🤞🏼

CatCaretaker · 21/06/2024 16:18

@AbbiL0u yes, I've discovered the beauty of floaty dresses and I love it.

I'm 14 weeks today and feel so much better seeing your comment. I haven't been eating very well during the first trimester because I've been so sick it's just been a case of whatever I want, I also have been so poorly I've almost entirely stopped walking my dog (my partner and mum have been helping me with her, she does get walked twice a day!)

My tummy is really big and flabby, I always carry my weight on my legs so it feels weird having such a flabby belly but I had to go out and buy jeans in a size 16 because my 14 jeans were too tight around my stomach.

I too wake in the middle of the night and I wake early too, sometimes before my 3yo.

RedRobyn2021 · 22/06/2024 08:23

Also i have some maternity bits but they fall down because they're still too big so I feel really inbetween and just fat tbh and I hate saying that because I try to be quite body positive but that's how I feel, flabby!

LilyJessie · 22/06/2024 09:08

@RedRobyn2021 - I feel you girl! I have not even attempted to put my jeans on as it'll depress me!!
Which makes me feel utterly ridiculous as if I was speaking to anyone else I would be like "embrace the magical journey, clothing sizes are just a number"...
But I just feel so round!!
I am absolutely shattered love, so drained. I work shifts and even when I get back late, there I am awake listening to the birds at stupid o clock!
You're a superwoman doing it with a 3 yo!
I have read it's normal. But still. I wish it would stop!!

@AbbiL0u - Thank you sooo much for the invite, I would love too, but I don't have Facebook unfortunately! Weirdo I know!! I might have to reopen it now though I'm having a baby as I imagine that's where a lot of info is stored for local events etc etc.

I completely feel you. I tried to put on my mom jeans today, I got them done up but it was so uncomfortable and tight around my waist I had to put on some different trousers. I genuinely saddened me, of course I knew this day would come but it's an odd feeling not being able to fit into your clothes suddenly....
although I feel like I am most definitely showing now, if people didn't know I was pregnant I would say I probably just look abit fat 😂 but there is a very noticeable bump developing now!

Lunamoon23 · 22/06/2024 14:19

@RedRobyn2021 also 14 weeks + 5 today! X

Lunamoon23 · 22/06/2024 14:20

Oh and also, after I eat a meal - I look like I'm 7 months pregnant! Not 3 month and 2 weeks haha.

RedRobyn2021 · 22/06/2024 17:16

It's a funny time because some women aren't showing at this point but I remember when I was pregnant last time feeling similar. I didn't quite have a bump I just looked like I'd got a bit fat. Although I am a stone heavier this time round!

Does anyone's boobs hurt? Just like last time when I was pregnant, by 5 weeks my boobs have ballooned and are really tender, even fabric just touching the nipple is oooouuucchhh

I truly wish I was one of those women who enjoyed being pregnant, my grandmother always said she loved being pregnant and would do it more if she didn't have to look after the babies when they come out 😂 I think that's lovely but don't have the same experience. Actually found 30 weeks onward bloody brilliant though, never felt so confident in my own body until I got to about week 38 when I couldn't comprehend getting bigger and went almost another 4 weeks 🙈

Lunamoon23 · 22/06/2024 22:48

@RedRobyn2021 I really didn't think I'd be showing this soon! But I really am! And I'd like to say it just looks like fat but ... it really does look like a pretty pronounced bump! If I wear a tight fitted dress there is no denying I'm pregnant. I was small to begin with, size 6-8 so I don't know if that's why?! I really didn't think I'd start showing noticeably until like 18-20 weeks!
Panicking that come late 20-30 weeks I'm going to be massive!!!

Bluesea14 · 24/06/2024 12:30

Has anyone had there 20 week scan booked for week 18? I'll be exactly 18 weeks on the day. X

Is that for your gender scan? No mine was booked for 20 weeks xxx

GammaTheGecko · 24/06/2024 20:31

Can anyone tell me what happens at the 16 week appt? I'm wondering whether to bring my partner or whether nothing 'interesting' happens, like at the booking appt! They didn't listen to the heartbeat at the ultrasound so might that happen at 16 weeks?

I just had mine last week - very boring. Urine test and blood pressure and a chat. No heart beat or anything else!

I had to ask to hear the heartbeat at my 12week scan. Xx

Oh that's annoying, if I knew I could have heard it I would have asked! Maybe they don't realise it's an important/significant moment for us to hear it for the first time... Hopefully I can ask at my 20 week scan then :) Thanks for letting me know

LilyJessie · 25/06/2024 17:23

Is anyone else still shattered?

RedRobyn2021 · 25/06/2024 18:18

LilyJessie · 25/06/2024 17:23

Is anyone else still shattered?

I'm still really tired at 14 weeks, I go to bed with my toddler every night at 6:30/7

But actually feeling better than I was, I couldn't even take my dog for a walk before last week

How far along are you now?

PositiveFoodie · 25/06/2024 21:21

LilyJessie · 25/06/2024 17:23

I'm able to get through the work day now which I really struggled to do in my first trimester. But still get tired early and napped a lot at the weekend. Hang in there!

LilyJessie · 25/06/2024 21:38

@RedRobyn2021 @PositiveFoodie
Ahhhh good to hear.
Between 14 and 15 weeks now.
However, turns out I have COVID, hence the extra exhaustion!!

Glad to hear you're both getting energy back!! Xx

I did originally, they actually called to rebook it for 20 weeks so I’d get in touch just in case ☺️
