Anyone else tested super early and due December 2024? This is my 2nd pregnancy after a mmc 2 days after my 12 week scan in December and actual miscarriage in January.

Hoping this will be the 1 that sticks and is healthy. Think my due date is Dec 3rd

@AbbiL0u thanks that’s good to hear that the weight gain slowed down!

Have realised today that it’s the thought of hot food I can’t bear - living off sandwiches and snack food now 😂

Got my first scan on Saturday (I’ll be 10 weeks) very excited but also nervous 😬

Have you had a scan yet?

TerryRose · 01/05/2024 17:05

Hi good just did a test, first date of my last period was 25th March and did 2 tests today and got 2 positives so estimated due date is 30th December , can't get to doctor until 15th . I had been trying but honestly didn't think it would happen and haven't been taking any vitamins or folic acid 🙈🙈🙈

Hello,

Can I join please? 2nd baby due in December around the 15th!
currently 7 weeks pregnant.
had disgusting never ending nausea since week 5, needing some moral support/shared stories, finding it so difficult to function feeling like this!
I have a nearly 3 year old who I feel so bad on because mummy went from active and always playing, to resorting to lots of tv time, always laying down and spending most of the time with daddy.
hows everyone else feeling?
I know getting through to that scan will make it all worth it <3

I have a 3 year old as well... I've no idea how I'll handle this 🤣🤣🤣

Hayz2020 · 02/05/2024 13:42

How’s everyone doing? It’s really lovely to hear about people having their early scans <3
I'm going to attempt to wait for my NHS one which is at the beginning of next month.

caught up on some messages and I am sorry for moaning so much about how unwell I feel, especially after the news that OP shared with us.

It’s really difficult yes but I’m thankful things seem to be ok.

im getting through the endless sickness by eating continuously. Little bits, I can only manage M&S sandwiches and then random little bits. Also eating lots of fridge raiders.

And I just keep telling myself my toddler won’t remember this stage, and it’ll be over in a few weeks and mummy will be a bit more able!

looking forward to getting through to trimester 2 and feeling more myself.

TerryRose · 02/05/2024 17:24

I can't believe the tiredness that's hitting me so early on in trimester 1! I think I'm also in shock didn't expect it to happen so fast 🙈🤣 I'm just really tired and can't stop eating and I've forgotten absolutely everything I need to do . Going to wait a few more weeks for a private scan.

TTTC24 · 03/05/2024 20:19

I’m 5+5 and have had some brown spotting and quite intense backache. I’m thinking I’ll see how I am over the weekend and ring EPU Monday if it continues….
I had the same with my pregnancy with DD so not feeling overly concerned. Anyone else experience this?

TTTC24 · 03/05/2024 20:22

Also, has anyone been having mood swings? I can’t keep up with myself and I keep crying for no reason!!

I cried continuously from week 5 -7, I felt so low! My crying is subsiding now and I don’t feel so low, but I do have a very short fuse. This happened in my first pregnancy as well but I’m definitely more moody this time around.

littlepanda88 · 06/05/2024 21:07

Anybody else feeling miserable?! All day nausea and sickness and just can't seem to function well at all! :-( I completely forgot these early stages of pregnancy.... and they are dragging!! Hope I'm not alone!

readyforroundthree · 06/05/2024 21:11

@littlepanda88 you aren't alone. 7 weeks here and all I've done over the weekend is nap, feel sick, eat beige food and contemplate my life choices lol.

littlepanda88 · 06/05/2024 21:21

@readyforroundthree haha yes exactly how I've been feeling!! Honestly last week I was ok and I'm like a different person this week. Just trying to zombie my way through to the 2nd trimester!

readyforroundthree · 06/05/2024 21:30

@littlepanda88 how many weeks are you? I've been prescribed anti sickness tablets but I'm sure they are making me feel more tired.

littlepanda88 · 06/05/2024 21:37

@readyforroundthree I'm 7 weeks at the minute, how about you? I also have anti sickness tablets but I find sometimes they work and sometimes don't. They stop me vomiting but the nausea is constantly there. I think some anti sickness tablet can make you drowsy too! The joys of pregnancy

readyforroundthree · 06/05/2024 21:39

@littlepanda88 also 7 weeks. I don't think they work that well either, but I don't know if they ever stop you completely feeling nauseous or if I need to up the mg.
My last pregnancy all nausea stopped by week 9 so I am praying I haven't got long left of this!

TerryRose · 07/05/2024 00:17

I had nausea for the majority of my 1st pregnancy, never vomited but the nausea was horrendous and had food aversions and actually lost weight which I don't want to happen this time around as I'd be underweight. I found the pregancare supplements were increasing the nausea so I started taking them at night time and it helped but might try different supplements this time around

GreenSparkle1 · 09/05/2024 19:25

Good Evening!

I joined the January thread but I visted the midwife today and she reckons I am further along than I thought!

Has anyone else seen a midwife yet and have you had your scans booked at the hospital yet?

This is my 2nd baby. I had my first over 12 years ago now!

Hayz2020 · 12/05/2024 18:31

I’m over 9 weeks now and haven’t yet heard from midwife! I might text my old midwife and ask if I can arrange it through her.
how’s everyone feeling? I so miss feeling normal and like myself, I know the 2nd and 3rd trimester will get easier, but this first chunk really takes it out of you!

MOGMOGMOG85 · 12/05/2024 22:16

10+1 today. The nausea and aversions died right down a few days ago, now its constipation is the issue!

With my son my nausea died at 10.5 weeks not 9.5 I do hope that's normal.

I had 2 private scans - 1 at 7 and 1 at 9 weeks.

12 week scan not til 14 weeks which is pissing me off as I may miss nuchal translucency. Midwife messaged to try move it forward but no word yet.

KaliJones · 12/05/2024 23:40

11 weeks today, and the past few days have had me suddenly feeling very normal (apart from peeing every half hour) so I’m glad of that as the nausea and headaches were making me suffer. Hopefully that’s it for now 🤞🏻

Jojo922 · 13/05/2024 03:50

Hello does anyone have the link to the due November thread? I can't seem to find it
Thankyou

Lunamoon23 · 14/05/2024 21:33

Hello! 8 weeks + 3 today, luckily still not morning sickness, occasional nausea at certain smells, but I literally cannot stop eating. And I just seem to be craving crappy food! Crisps and sweet treats. Have my first midwife appt on Thursday - not a scan, just bloods, weight/height and health history. I'm exhausted 24/7. But otherwise besides eating so much and being tired I feel completely normal.. hoping the eating non stop wears off else I'll be the size of a whale. I'm usually very petite (size 6-8) and very weight conscious (always have been it's abit of a problem) so it's making me anxious. Silly thing to worry about I know ... Blush

Rosiemay94 · 15/05/2024 07:29

KaliJones · 16/05/2024 05:21

Anyone else get horrendous nosebleeds during pregnancy? Been woken up at 4:30am with a heavy nosebleed, followed all the things to get it to stop, and it started going down my throat! Been stood over the sink since then STILL spitting out little bits of blood. This happened with my last pregnancy as well, MULTIPLE times 😓I hoped I’d get lucky this time. Going to be exhausted for work (11+3 weeks)
