Hi everyone, I’ve not posted on here for a while. I’ve actually been feeling pretty down, wondering if we were making the wrong decision having our third. Ive felt really stressed 😣 I’ve also felt so unwell, not nausea or sickness but just cold and bunged up. For a while my head was full of pressure, it was horrendous, then it sort of moved on to tonsillitis and I couldn’t really swallow due to the immense pain. Then I worry about the stressing and I feel like I’ve just “damaged” the baby’s growth and development nu being so bloody ill and stress 😭

Anyone else struggling to breathe through their nose? I’ve honestly had enough. I will never take breathing through my nose for granted ever again ☠️

I’m absolutely shitting a brick about mine. Not feeling hopeful due to the bleeding. It’s at 3:40 too so got to wait most of the day 😩 tomorrow afternoon cannot come quick enough. I just want to know either way.

@Honeyandsunshine1 I'm sure the way you're feeling is just an offshoot of feeling so crap with being poorly. I know in all the time we've been trying, as daft as it sounds but when I've had an off day I've often thought, god how will I cope. I think you're just full of cold and feeling generally down. I'm sure as soon as you're better you will see things differently. Hope you have a better day today and feel much better soon xxx

@Emmaev thank you ☺️ it's like a small unwritten rule now 😁🍟🍔 I love fast food anyway but it seems to hit different since I've been pregnant!

@MrsB2019x are you still bleeding today? I saw my friend yesterday who's 20 weeks (I was dying to tell her I'm only 7 weeks behind) and she's bled all the way through on and off. Had plenty of scans and everything is absolutely fine xx

Hi all! I took a break from the thread to try and take my mind off it all and stop the constant worrying and overthinking. I’m 9+4 today and for the first time in over 2 weeks, I feel properly sick again. My symptoms are so strange, from being sick early on in weeks 5+6 to nothing in weeks 7+8, and now back to being sick again…I have a scan and NIPT next week at 10+5 when I will finally know what is going on.

Hi everyone :) I took a little break because I have 0 news. Not sure if I said about my urine screen at booking appointment coming back +ve for UTI. I have no symptoms so don't know how I feel about taking a course of antibiotics, the doctor (when I could EVENTUALLY get through the iron wall of reception to talk to him) kindly said he would repeat the culture just to make sure if it made me feel better (which it will) so I'll do that first.
Still not feeling sick. Just feeling SO bloated all the time (but also starving so I'm eating loads) so the bloat could be to do with the carbs I'm eating.
Have booked a Pvt scan for Saturday (hopefully at least 8+2 then) this seems to be taking forever as Im put back a week.

Hi all, had my booking in appointment this morning - all good until she took my bloods and I collapsed fitting! Never had any issues with bloods before, but the midwife said it’s quite common in pregnancy - did anyone else have any issues, because I don’t remember anyone saying anything about it and am wondering if she just said it’s common to make me feel better?

Oh my days! My baby is measuring ahead, my due date has now been moved to the 7th of September. (Previously was 9th). Very active, they were moving their arms and feet and waved at us with left arm above head. My husband waved back 😂 Neck is looking good aswell. The position of the baby was perfect, we could see the profile very well(as you can see here).

@californiacooper I had that and it turns out I was collecting my urine wrong. I had sort of held the pot up to my bits so it got ‘contaminated with flora’ 😁, I didn’t realise you’re supposed to catch the urine midstream. Sounds daft but… how’s your technique?! If you have no symptoms maybe you contaminated your pot 😂

@Lillers I had that with my first! I have never flinched at needles or anything but I would get an all over tingly/dizzy feeling after getting bloods when I was pregnant with her my daughter! Just make sure and tell them before your next bloods and they get you to lie down taking them.

@californiacooper did you do a 'clean catch' I.e mid stream instead of up against your bits? I didn't realise this until the end of my last pregnancy so every time I gave a urine sample it said there was protein and was given antibiotics when I didn't actually need them

@Martibum It was such a horrible feeling - I’m like you, never had any issues with needles or blood or anything. I was a blood donor for years and they even let me hold my bag of blood once because I was so interested in the process! So definitely was very surprised to have such a bad reaction today. That’s a good tip about lying down beforehand - the midwife did say she couldn’t lie me down safely because of the layout of the room we were in so she had to kind of tip me back against the wall.

@californiacooper in my last pregnancy I had 0 symptoms of a UTI, but started feeling unwell and had back pain, turns out I must have had a UTI for a while as my urine test showed it had hit my kidneys!

@californiacooper I have some input regarding the test UTI question. I had too many leukocytes in my urine but the red blood cells and pus in the urine was not recorded.
if on your test you just have a lot of leukocytes but the rest are normal then you probably contaminated the sample by not catching it mid stream(I did that). If the rest are high aswell then it’s likely a UTI. UTIs can flare from dehydration. Especially ones that are not heavy on the symptoms. Are you hydrated enough?
