Myth or fact pregnancy cravings and genders

Can some people please tell me there cravings and babies gender, I want to work out if there's any truth or 'majority' behind the whole sweet for a girl savoury for a boy 😁

You mean the baby's sex, surely?

Well I have only had boys and actually only had cravings for DS1. My cravings started as pickled onions or pickled onion crisps and then changed to various chocolate bars towards the end of my pregnancy.
So I had a bit of both

I don't think any of the old wives tales are true lol 😂

1st baby - girl - spicy chicken wings; gherkins, pickled onion monster munch & full fat coke

2nd baby - girl - gherkins, Seabass with grilled peppers & full fat coke

No cravings with DS. Just liked eating as usual😋 Easy pregnancy as had no sickness either!

I wanted curry and chocolate milk, so a bit of both and had a boy.

Girl - Coca Cola, tomatoes, vinegar

Boy - Coca Cola, doctor pepper, mushrooms, southern fried chicken, noodles/Hot sauce

Not cravings but aversions. Same with both sexes.

Myth - I completely went off chocolate and sweet things with my girl

Total myth, my first was all savoury, second was sweet, third was a mix but more savoury. I have 3 girls. There is no truth behind any of the old wives tales

Mine was the opposite - cakes and avocado for boy, vinegar and ginger beer for girl

Boy, no cravings just extremely hungry all the time. Massive aversion to meat though

Also zero libido with boy

Myth. Same cravings for all of mine, boys and girls. Though with each pregnancy the cravings got more intense .

I did have one clear difference between pregnancies with different sex babies: with my girls the pregnancy nausea started earlier than with my boys, and did not last as long.

No cravings at all yet, loads of aversions though. Having a girl. 29 weeks pregnant

I've mainly craved Lilt. Baby is a boy.

I’ve had very similar cravings with both - savoury/salty at the start and sweet later on, definitely a myth!

I had no cravings so not sure what that says really

I think it's myth with savoury or sugar determining the sex of the baby.

I craved McDonalds chicken selects with my first pregnancy and she was a girl.

My second pregnancy I craved meat also, and tomato pasta. Also a girl

Same. Perhaps that we weren't lacking in anything in particular diet-wise?

Mine did follow the old wives tale - with DS I wanted sausage rolls and cheese and onion crisps. Went tight off chocolate and cake (really unusual for me!)

Winter pregnancy - craved porridge with full fat milk.

Summer pregnancy - craved Angel Delight with full fat milk.

I hate milk!

Both were boys.

Ds1 Orange juice and potatoes - huge quantities of both
DS2 Biscuits.

Boy - anchovies from the jar, Wotsits and KFC (I’d been vegetarian for about 5 years before him)

Girl - none.

I think your body tells you really clearly what it needs but not based on the sex of the baby. More to do with gaps in your own nutrition or energy levels.

My first was a boy and I craved ice cubes (yes crunched them like crisps)

2nd and 3rd were girls and I craved chocolate ripples with one and mint choc chip ice cream with the other.

Will be 6 weeks tomorrow and it's the first time I've been getting nausea and sickness. Really don't fancy anything other than smoothies right now, wouldn't call it a craving just something I can manage.
