Positive pregnancy test or evaporation line?

I have irregular periods, I am currently late( on 56 cycle) so I did a pregnancy test. Pregnancy test which came out as positive. I then did another pregnancy test an hour later and it was negative. I have done numerous pregnancy test after and they've all came out negative, so now I'm wondering if the positive pregnancy test was a false positive or evaporation line? I did pee a bit on the test window which might be the reason why I got a positive result, is that possible?

It looks positive to me but if all others are negative then it looks like you peeing on it was an issue or a chemical

Was this test using first urine of the day? If you are pregnant, it might be that the consequential tests were with urine which was too diluted. Test again tomorrow, or in a few days, with first morning urine. Good luck

Hi. I took an early pregnancy test. Initially the test was negative so I threw it but I had a feeling to look at it again. An hour or two later I got it back out and saw this dark blue line. I heard evaporation lines are colourless/greyish but this is fully blue. Does anyone have any ideas if this could be a positive or evaporation line?

Sadly this is an evap line. They are blue on Clear Blue tests but they are thin like this one. Sorry x

im just looking for some advice , yesterday I felt very emotional and sick and during the early hours of the morning I decided to take a Hcg test strip to see if I was pregnant a line started to appear almost immediately and the panic started to kick in , to try and gain some more confirmation I took another one about 45 minutes later and the same thing happened. Later on I did three more Hcg strip tests and they were negative and two clear blue tests that were negative. This morning I did two more clear blue tests that showed up negative… I’m just unsure of what to do or how to think at this point in time , I’m not actively trying to convince but I have been slacking with my contraception , I can not remember my last period but what I do remember is that it felt lighter than usual and I felt very nauseous throughout … if anyone can help that would be great

The strip tests are flooded which makes them invalid.

Hi I think I’m 4 weeks possibly 4+2 I’m worrying that my lines aren’t dark enough the top test is todays I posted somewhere else and I had a lot of Americans telling me to call the doc asap🙈

Hi, I’ve taken this test this morning. It’s not supposed to be one with the crosses in and it’s appeared like the image. Is it faulty?

Sadly I would say this is faulty because the control line is broken/two different shades. It looks like a flooded test to me. Definitely retest- good luck!

Just wondered If people thought this was a positive test or evaporation line as its right where the pee line bit starts. for context I'm 42 and I'm on the pill but my period is now 10 days late which is very abnormal for me. So I bought a test out of panic .

so I’m 6 days until I’m due on, so I done the clear blue 6 days early tests, to me, this looks like it was positive, it came up within 2/3 minutes, I then lent down and the end of the test snapped, and it looked like it turned negative? Is this a thing? Or was this never a faint positive to begin with !

So turns out I am pregnant! I done a 6 day early digital test today and it says pregnant :) xx

does this look like a very faint line I swear I can see one 😂 I feel like I’m going crazy looking

I’m currently (what I think) 6 weeks and 3 days calculating from my first day of my last period. I look a LOAD of ultra early clear blue tests which alll had a faint line in the positive line window. I later googled and realised it was an evaporation line so was a bit gutted. Then a couple weeks later with no period (except 2 days of bleeding red with tiny blood clots around 6 day post ovulation) which I initially put down to implantation bleeding but as it got heavier I realised it was a period so again gutted. But now I’ve just don’t another 2 tests which are different to eachother and my previous test and the results are attached.. could you please help me understand what is going on? Today’s text (pictures) were taken 20 days post ovulation and 1 days before my expected period from what my period calendar has told me.

Hi ladies I was taken the combine pill for one month one week came of to ttc I had a withdrawal bleed 2/04/24 and took this test on 26/04/24 I’ll post pic of straight away and the next day is this evap or positive I’m due my period 30/04/24 ?

Hi everyone, I'm new to this and wasn't sure how to create my own post (sorry)
I've read so much about false positives on Morrisons brand.
Do these look genuine? I am aware that if I am pregnant, I'm still very early- so I wouldn't expect a dark line?

picture 1 was taken 15/05 and picture 2 was taken 16/05 at 4pm.
does this look normal and promising?
I’m due my period tomorrow so not sure what to expect
