Positive pregnancy test or evaporation line?

I have irregular periods, I am currently late( on 56 cycle) so I did a pregnancy test. Pregnancy test which came out as positive. I then did another pregnancy test an hour later and it was negative. I have done numerous pregnancy test after and they've all came out negative, so now I'm wondering if the positive pregnancy test was a false positive or evaporation line? I did pee a bit on the test window which might be the reason why I got a positive result, is that possible?

Hi everyone - just want some opinions. This is the inside of a test ( I’m unsure as to whether you should take them apart or not but I’ve done so many and got the same thing so wanted to see if it was clearer inside!!) this is the 5th test result I’ve gotten like this- im 4 days late and just want to know if this is positive or evap line !!!

I had my coil removed 16 th April, period came back 30 th April quite heavy, I did the ovulation tests & showed I was ovulating ( do it said) period should be due on Tuesday but because I have had the coil in for 15 years I am not sure if it will be regular!
I have done 2 tests , one Morrisons & one clear blue & got very faint lines, I have heard of evap lines etc & the fact that it’s still a bit early
any thoughts on these pics ? trstex today ( not with morning urine ) and it’s negative!

Took a test this afternoon? Is this positive? I haven’t been feeling great and period is due in two days. I took a test this morning at 7am and it was negative and now at 4pm looks like faint line….

Hey! I’m looking for some help, so I have PCOS currently TTC our third with help from Clomid! I’m due to start another round of Clomid today so was told to test first to make sure it’s negative before starting! I don’t get a cycle unless I take Provera, So I took a Sainsbury’s Early Detection test this morning (second wee) and thought I could see a faint line! Checked about 25 mins later and it was like this! It was warm in car so I’m now wondering if it’s an evap? I’m terrible for getting my hopes up!

TTc for almost a year now. 6 days late for my period. Feel super nauseous late at night for the last 2-3 weeks, took this test today. Is it positive or just evap? I’m losing my mind over here😭 also I know blue dye tests are the worst, plan to get a red/pink dye one in the morning!

Can I please get some advice?
I took a test 2 days ago and there was a vvvv faint line but I assumed it was an evap line.
Today I took 4 tests. 3 are negative but the boots test is showing a v faint positive. I’ve now got in my head it’s maybe an evap line? The line showed up within 2 minutes of testing.
The top test is from 19/08/2024 and the bottom test is today 2 days later.
What do you think? This waiting game is a killer isn’t it 😥

In my experience the boots tests are very accurate. What dpo are you? It looks like an early positive to me! 🤞🏽🤞🏽

The FLO app predicted my ovulation as 02/08 which would put me at 19 dpo… however my cycles are long (39/40 days) so I think my ovulation would actually have been later than FLO predicted. I also had some spotting/ light bleeding for 2/3 days from 12/08 - 15/08.
I Just find it strange that the other tests i took today are all negative??

@CB95 are the ones in the picture the early detection ones? If so they may be more sensitive than the other tests? If you are 19dpo I would think they would be darker than that but if you have really slow rising hcg like me they could be that faint at around then. I would wait until tomorrow morning and test again with fmu if it's negative again then you'll have your answer and you possibly just had faulty tests but I really hope they aren't faulty! Hey ☺️ yes all the tests I have taken are early detection tests. I will do another test tomorrow. IF I ovulated slightly later than FLO predicted, I would probably be around 15/16 dpo right now. It’s so hard to know what to think and keep waiting 😓 thank you! Xx

Have you been pregnant before? And if so, you say you have slow rising HCG… what happened with your tests? X

I’ve had a similar thing. Tested really faint positive and then negatives so took two ultra early digital which came back with pregnant and then all other tests are showing negative so I’m feeling really confused.
Anyone else experienced this? It’s been three days since my initial faint positive.
