Very very faint line or am I imagining it?

Please, help me ladies as I’m driving myself mad unable to work this morning..

i must be 8-9 DPO and my expected period would be in 3-4 days.
I tested with second morning urine (silly, I know) and got a very very faint line on my clear blue.
I had an evap line once before and this one looks a bit different to me.. it came up within the first 2 minutes of testing and then faded away after an hour or so.

any thoughts everyone?
I really need to get back to work yet here I am! 😆

Looks like a line to me ☺️

Mrsttcno1 · 29/11/2023 11:43

Did this line appear within the window and stay? I have seen so many posts about these threads recently being false positives so I’d maybe cross check with another brand in a few days when your period is due x

Daisies12 · 29/11/2023 11:44

I can't see anything, sorry. wait a few days, I only got BFP at 15 dpo

Alina86 · 29/11/2023 13:47

I’m getting some cramps and nausea and fatigue… could it be my period?😞I guess I’ll find out in a few days!

@Mrsttcno1 Hi there,
it appeared within the first two minutes of testing and stayed for an hour and then slowly faded. I can still see some of it but barely!
i’ll be testing again soon… any good test you can recommend? X

Definitely a line! Congratulations!!

Alina86 · 29/11/2023 13:50

@Daisies12 I really shouldn’t have tested this early … can’t focus on work and no answers anyway until a few days later!!

If it disappeared then unlikely to be a positive, but that doesn’t mean you’re out! I tested using the basic hcg strips (I had the easy@home ones), I also used a first response and a clear blue digital, now 20 weeks pregnant. Honestly some of the things I’ve saw on here recently about the Clear Blue I would totally avoid them, there was a thread I believe last week of a lady who had 5+ faint positives in a row on them then AF came, and they had all been evap’s. I’m not sure whats going on with them at the moment but I haven’t heard good things! I’ve heard the Boots own brand ones are good! x

Hi @Kimchi I love your nickname here 😋
I definitely saw a line that was different to evap line I got last month but it’s almost all faded now and I’m getting some cramps and nausea which is not helpful.. ehh
thanks for replying xx

@Mrsttcno1 omg yes, you reminded me of boots ones - I used them with my second pregnancy and they showed faint but very clear line 4 days before my expected period which was a big wow and I suspected I had twins or something 😁
congratulations on your pregancy! How exciting 😍 I really didn’t plan to test this early on, but I got really bad metallic taste in my mouth last night and this was the very first symptom in both of my pregnancies so I got a thrill to test and see.. oh well!

@Bakedbeansandtoast
that was my first though too until the line started fading and almost disappeared now😞 it looked like a very clear “shadow” type of line with not much colour but clearly there..

I once had a very strong blue line on these tests that disappeared. If I hadn't taken a photo I wouldn't have believed it. Was definitely pregnant!

Alina86 · 30/11/2023 09:59

@Chasingbaby2 this is crazy.. after reading all the comments about clear blue though I went and got Sainsbury’s pregnancy tests this morning and I think I can see a faint pink line?🥹🥹🥹

I can never usually see lines in these posts but can see on both of your photos 🥰

SeaGlassTreasure · 30/11/2023 10:35

I can see lines on both. Best of luck, and best wishes OP!

LolaJ87 · 30/11/2023 10:38

That is a DEFINITE positive!

Wilki2206 · 30/11/2023 10:38

Definitely a line!! Test again in a few days and I'm sure it'll be stronger :) x

BananaSplitsss · 30/11/2023 10:39

Yep I see it xx

🩷💙

Alina86 · 30/11/2023 15:45

Thank you all x
I’ll be doing more test to see if the lines gets darker 🤞🏼
hopefully the insight of this thread will be that a very faint line on an early clear blue that faded away can mean viable pregnancy 😉🥹😍

i can see the line in both tests, sooo fingers crossed xx

squeekychicken · 30/11/2023 17:29

I see lines on both. Congrats

Alina86 · 01/12/2023 08:35

This is this morning.
Can someone tell me when I should be seeing a solid line? My expected period is tomorrow.
In my previous pregnancy I saw a solid line before my expected period. Should I be worried?

No you shouldn't be worried. It could be anything, a different brand of test, being better hydrated etc. I was 5 weeks before I got a "dye stealer" with my son and he'll be 1 next week. Pregnancy tests are a yes or no answer, and that's a yes! Even though line progression isn't exactly a scientific thing either, that's already darker than yesterday. How exciting!

Alina86 · 01/12/2023 09:23

@LolaJ87 thank you for your answer, makes a lot of sense! My last pregnancy ended up in a missed miscarriage and I seem to be in disbelief and lots of worry this time as my doctors also told me my FSH levels were over 25 last month 🤪

Sarasara1983 · 01/12/2023 09:26

I can just about see it on the first, but it is definitely getting darker each time! No doubting the 2nd and 3rd one!!! Congratulations 🥳
