I also went with Cosatto. I really wanted the Giggle 2, for the transforming carrycot/pram chair situation, but they dont do those in Portugal, so I ended up buying a Giggle 3 second hand (Pixelate pattern, but honestly, all the cosatto patterns are SOOOOOOO cute!!!). Light weight was also really important to me, as public transport is my main mode of transportation.
At the time I didnt have a car, so the size of the frame was not a problem for me. Obviously, now I do have a car (Im fostering my dads car, as he is now unable to drive - or rather, its the getting in and out of the car alone that is the issue!), and its a smart for4! Itll be fine, though!
I will be using the pram carrycot as a "moses basket" of sorts for the living room, as my next to me will stay in the bedroom.
I got a Bebeconfort Next to me in the Black Friday sales, on Amazon, and it was delivered like 3 days later! Its been stored against the wall in the nursery, still in its box!
As for babies turning, mine was breech at 29 weeks (and my OB said she might not turn at all), but she was head down by 31 weeks, so I wouldnt panic just yet!!!
I had a routine appt on Friday, at the high risk unit (because Im WELL OLD INNIT??), and they asked if I had contractions (along with all the other questions, like swelling, constipation, blurred vision, headaches, etc etc etc), and I said yes, if I move about a lot, I do.
So they said theyd do a CTG, to check the activity.
So I was attached to it for 40 minutes, give or take. Turns out I do have contractions, but they are not just Braxton Hicks... They are proper labour/pre labour contractions and pretty regular... So I then got my cervix measured, and its still 4cm, which is GREAT, and was sent home on modified bed rest (dont have to be in bed, can leave the house, but cant walk around, cant lift anything, cant clean the house... basically minimal effort for me, until she is born, to try and keep the contractions to a minimum, and not have a preemie baby!
