Just curious! Has anyone ever got a good saving on their cot or pram or other baby items during Black Friday? We can afford to wait until then so just wondering if its worth holding out!

Good question, I've been wondering the same!

@LavenderSweetPea no one has answered it for us!

I waited on the expensive stuff last year assuming there would be amazing Black Friday deals, but the most I got off anything was about 10%. Which is obviously better than nothing but nowhere near the kind of saving I was hoping for :(

Yes you can depending on what you want.
I will be buying a load of smaller "baby staples"... nuby rapid cool, mam bottles etc.

It tends to be 10-20% maybe 30%... Snoo do decent discounts like £500 off?
I got better clothes bargains in the post Xmas sales tbh...

Prams I would consider 2nd hand.
We got a nuna demi I bought the whole system for £200 from a woman who bought it new 12 months prior for a grand!?!
My friend just sold an egg full system for £350 it was £1.5k new and was virtually unused.
That said none of my baby mum friends use anything other than yoyo, leclercs or bugaboo butterfly now. If you want a new one Id go for one of those.

Some. Like everything else on Black Friday it's total pot luck and whimsical with regards to what's on sale and what discount is offered.

Have you got an Amazon account and do you check your offers page? I am always getting an offer for 15% off eligible baby items if I create a wish list. Might be worth a look if you have an account?

I’m sure I got a perfect prep machine on Amazon discounted on Black Friday

Yes I did last year! Saved hundreds on a pram from natural baby shower. I signed up to a few websites and waited for their black Friday deals or their new customer discounts!

Singingintherain23 · 29/09/2023 20:27

Also, I did one of those free John Lewis baby appointments and afterwards they send you a discount code to use. And sign up to boots parenting club.

Yes. DC1 was due end of Feb and I bought all the big ticket items over Black Friday weekend. Bedside crib and mattress, cot bed and mattress, pushchair and car seat. "Only" 10% is still a good discount!
