Hello!

I got a BFP this morning and think that I am approximately 4 weeks pregnant.
Whilst I am of course delighted, I had a chemical pregnancy last month and so my initial elation has quickly been replaced with fear and wishing that I didn't know so early!

Just wondering if there is anyone in the same boat? If really appreciate some company and morale support during the wait!

Thank you x

@Cinderz123 I haven't even been wearing a bra it's the summer hols and I work in school so taking full advantage until September lol 😂

19EMMA89 · 14/08/2023 15:28

@DizzyM43 I'm trying to hold out till Wednesday , as last Wednesday was when I got my 2-3 so somewhere in my brain it's convincing me to wait a few more days 😂😂😂 if I don't get the 3+ I'll be off to buy more for the weekend 😂😂😂

@Ttcmumma yay that's amazing to see , congrats !

cdn298 · 14/08/2023 16:58

I was starting to feel a bit worried that lines on my IC tests weren’t getting any darker but just tried a digital and got 2-3! I’m 4+5 today so that would be about right

feel slightly more reassured now! Have another digital that I’ll do next week and hopefully get my 3+ 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Hi all, congratulations to all those with positives since I last posted!

Maternity services are good in my area, filled in the online referral form and had my appointment for booking scan through the post in 2 days!

I felt awful end of last week and Saturday with nausea but feel better now. I'm only 6 + 2 so hope it's not a sign of things to come, I had no sickness or nausea at all with my son 😂

cdn298 · 14/08/2023 17:10

@mrsed1987 that's so good! I can't register online til I'm 6 weeks 😩

@mrsed1987 that's so good! I can't register online til I'm 6 weeks 😩

I was impressed! My son is 4.5 and I found out early with him too and the gp surgery said I had to call back at 8 weeks! So I wasn't expecting to hear anything so quickly!

DizzyM43 · 14/08/2023 17:36

@19EMMA89 I was trying to hold out to Friday as that's when I got mine but figured one half way wouldn't hurt lol 😂 good luck waiting till weds not long to go

@cdn298 congrats on your 2-3 weeks 😊

Its nice that others are going through the same thing at the same time makes me feel less nuts about the home tests 🤣🤣

jeepjeep4 · 15/08/2023 07:32

Morning everyone
Complete disappearance of symptoms today and yesterday for me. Trying not to panic.
I've read on a few old posts it can be quite normal for symptoms to come and go at this stage- I'm 5wks 3days.

Symptoms weren't super strong anyway but I've been getting dark dark lines on pink tests.

Sounds crazy but I'm hoping for some sore boobs and nausea today!

Cinderz123 · 15/08/2023 07:34

This insomnia is driving me insane!! Why can't I sleep at night yet feel so bloody tired? Had a full on mood swing with my partner last night too 😳 I feel like I need to carry it on today as to not look silly 😂 I have a feeling I left him all bewildered n perplexed as I stomped off to bed lol

WolfMother326 · 15/08/2023 07:55

@jeepjeep4 that is so normal. Last time I was pregnant symptoms came and went til 7 weeks and then it was pretty intense (horrific? 😅)

WolfMother326 · 15/08/2023 07:58

I couldn't help myself and got some more boots tests to compare my line from last week. Looking good this morning, feeling happy. 4+3 today still so early but trying to take it easy.

Ttcmumma · 15/08/2023 08:11

@jeepjeep4 mine done that the other day, my breasts were so swollen and so sore I wanted to cut them off, nausea was awful too. Then for 2 days breasts had gone back to normal size, no pain and no nausea. Now I regret wanting it back 😅 my boobs kill, I feel so sick, weak and absolutely knackered im struggling to function. Had to drop my son to my mums for a 2 hour nap after work yesterday 🤦🏼‍♀️ so perfectly normal, enjoy the calm while it lasts x

Hannah4850 · 15/08/2023 08:52

So I had some bleeding last night and expected the worst as I've had 7 early MCs
But this morning nothing at all, but extreme fatigue I can barely stand up so working from home and will be trying to nap haha 😅😅
I've noticed my main thing since finding out is fear and anxiety of having another, but it's easing off each day I think hormones are to blame to be honest 💖

jodie000 · 15/08/2023 10:47

Morning everyone 😊
Back in the UK now and followed up the missed call I had from a medical centre near me after I registered the pregnancy on my local hospital website. It's not my usual GP (which is a very small village one) and they said they don't have me on their system but a midwife would phone me back for a booking appointment. Anyone know what this is and what gets booked? I'm 5 weeks tomorrow. All I kind of know is that you have a scan around 10-12 weeks, anything else? Like blood tests etc. Or does that happen at the same time? I've not had the opportunity to speak to any healthcare people yet to ask these questions!

@cdn298 my hospital website also said wait until 6 weeks but I saw someone else did it a bit early so thought fk it 😅 and did it and they emailed and phoned the next day saying they'd be in touch re this booking appointment so I'm not sure it matters? Call me a rebel 😅😅

@jeepjeep4 @Ttcmumma I'm yet to experience any symptoms really, testing every 3-4 days to check, had no spotting or nausea but good to know it's relatively normal for it to come and go.

@Hannah4850 hoping for the best for you 💕 hopefully you can rest up today!

Ttcmumma · 15/08/2023 10:52

@jodie000 booking appointment for me usually takes about an hour, they do height, weight, blood tests, I had to do a breathalyser type thing I think to check if you're a smoker etc. You speak to a midwife and they go through your health history, partners and family. Any thing else that may need to be kept an eye on, previous pregnancies, anything hereditary that could be cause for concern. This is usually done a few weeks before the 12 week scan x

Ttcmumma · 15/08/2023 10:53

Oh and pee test to confirm for pregnancy, as I guess they can't just take everyone's word for it! So be ready to pee. I once forgot and went having just peed and really struggled to fill the pot 🤣

jodie000 · 15/08/2023 11:10

@Ttcmumma thanks for the info! Is this at a gp clinic or hospital usually do you know? Will remember the pee test!!

Ttcmumma · 15/08/2023 12:38

@jodie000 usually hospital, mine is the same department you go back to for the scans x

roro87 · 15/08/2023 14:19

Hi All,

Sorry I haven't been on here much over the last few days.

I'm still worrying about my tests and the fact I'm still only getting 1-2 on clearblue tests by now last time I was getting 2-3.

Included my other tests I guess for some reassurance.

jeepjeep4 · 15/08/2023 15:37

@roro87 those lines look nice and dark. It's hard not to worry! Especially this early on

roro87 · 16/08/2023 06:38

Got my 2-3 this morning thankfully. I'm 4+4 but its exactly 1 weeks since I tested positive so makes sense.

WolfMother326 · 16/08/2023 08:09

Amazing @roro87, congratulations!! That's a big relief.

jodie000 · 16/08/2023 08:17

@roro87 congratulations! 🙌 that's great news

I felt brave and went for a digital yesterday and got 3+, I'm 5 weeks today so wasn't sure if it would be.

How's everyone doing?

Ttcmumma · 16/08/2023 08:21

Aww lovely to see the progression ladies. I had an awful nightmare last night that I lost the baby, woke up in a panic but thankfully not bleeding in real life! The anxiety is real 🤦🏼‍♀️

Going from lmp I am 5+4 today but my natural cycles app that knows my ovulation etc says 5+6. What would you go off? I'm thinking the earlier date so worst case I'm further along than I assume at scans etc

Feeling very sick this morning 🤢

Mrsttcno1 · 16/08/2023 08:21

Congratulations everyone! You could say I’ve lost the plot pregnancy testing🥲 this is not even including the easy@home and the first response ones. I’ve got some of the clear blue weeks ones arriving tomorrow, a pack of 2, and I’m telling myself that I’ll do one this weekend and one next weekend and after that I just need to stop testing. I literally feel like I’m going crazy testing every morning and DH has clocked on that I’m sneaking out of the bedroom to test every morning, he thinks I’m torturing myself and maybe I am but as silly as it might sound I do just get some reassurance from seeing it again every morning! 4+2 today and we’re going to the lakes for a long weekend next week which should take my mind off this for awhile! X
