What pregnancy symptom made you test?

I'm 8dpo, for the last 2 days I've had overwhelming nausea and today I'm finding it hard to stay awake! This is unusual for me. I've also felt dizzy and light headed. It's too early to test so I'm wondering if anyone has had this or what they experienced after ovulation?

A haemorrhoid - only ever have them when pregnant

First time, we had been TTC for 10 months so I was symptom spotting. Combination of a late period of and sore boobs.

Second time, we weren't trying at all and my periods were still irregular after having DD. We'd been using protection but when my period was 5 days late I bent over to put something in the cupboard and got a massive head rush. Was like something out of a movie when DH asked if I was ok and I said 'I'm fine, just had a massive head rush, so weird, I only ever got those when I was pregnant with DD...' and we both looked at each other like 'oh GOD'. Tested the next day to a blazing line!

The nausea caused by the smell of strong coffee as I passed a coffee shop…I just knew then. Wasn’t trying and wasn’t particularly overdue (last period was 34 days before and I ranged from 28 to 36 days prior to this.

Realising I was a week and a half late. NO other symptoms whatsoever.

I can remember walking down some stairs at work and my boobs were really sore....

Plus my period was a week late 🤦‍♀️

I woke up a couple of days in a row with sore boobs. I ended up testing before I was due because of it

I’d say you’re a bit early yet. Leave it to around 10/11 DPO before testing. Try not to symptom spot, you’ll drive yourself mad and its harder if it’s a negative

Late period

Nipples changed colour!

Not having my pre AF spotting and then that not arriving. I knew before I took the test as I always spot 4 days before AF and AF always arrives on 13dpo (I tracked ovulation). I didn’t take a test until the day after AF due but knew anyway it was more to prove it to my partner 😂

Late period. I had absolutely zero symptoms before that.

We've been using the withdrawal method, but would be happy with another baby if it happens! This month I just feel different and my nipples are standing out a mile off 🤣

With my first I was a week late, I kept getting period pains and cramps but nothing happened and I got fed up of it so did a test. I had also had some dizzy episodes which at the time I didn't know was a sign.
With my next I had a funny feeling I was pregnant way before I was due on, which was then followed by some spotting which was unusual for me.

My DH made boiled eggs one day and I started crying because it was so smelly and I told him it was very inconsiderate 😂😂 When I eventually got over my irrational tantrum he told me I needed to test. It was negative, but I had implantation bleed the next day and 2 days later I was positive.

@mommabearrof3 mine was my nipples being sore definitely! And some implantation cramps at 6dpo

We’d been TTC for 2 years so peeing on a stick is basically my hobby now. I tested at 9dpo (because TTC drove me insane) and there was a barely there line, so far too early for symptoms!

the first symptoms I noticed were sensitive nips - they feel fizzy 🤣

I spotted for 5 days from 2dpo. 7dpo DH and I DTD and I had some pink/red loss afterward so did a test on a whim and got a faint pos followed by a few days of lower back ache and a sure positive 11po.

Now 14dpo and tests are getting darker :)

I went out for a run and started to feel a bit nauseous half way through (I never usually felt nauseous when out for a run). Took a test as soon as I got home and it was positive...it was mothers day the next day as well!

I thought I was out re TTC that month as well as didn't get a positive ovulation test or anything. Can't remember how many DPO I was though.

First time- really sore boobs at the sides under my armpits, exhaustion like I'd never known before, and feeling like I was coming down with something but never seemed to turn into a cold.

Second time- I tested coz I realised I'd started getting super impatient with everything and flying off the handle at nothing. Then remembered the last time I'd been THAT unreasonable I'd been pregnant 😄 Those two lines came up in a heartbeat!

Couldn't drink the second glass of Chianti. My body physically wouldn't let me bring it to my mouth and it tasted weird.
The other thing was that I was day 28 of P90X and absolutely killing it, but when I came home to do it, my brain just said "no". Even though I was excited to do it, for some reason that day I couldn't convince myself to do it.
Tested the next day when my period was due and the test was positive.

Second pregnancy I only tested because I was going on a girls trip to Toronto and thought I should. I was halfway through a pint of wine and I didn't both checking the test for ages. Had no symptoms except nausea and a penchant for beige foods from 10 weeks.

Cramping but different and earlier to period cramp!

I track my periods so I knew I was late and my fertility app was telling me to test, but I was fully expecting a negative test (as I've had many times before!) so I actually put it off a day or two because I didn't want another disappointment. Then a lovely surprise! I'd never seen the two lines before! 😀

First pregnancy - sore boobs and I was a week late for my very regular period (had been TTC for nearly 3 years so wanted to put off taking a test for at least a week as I'd seen so many negatives!). Second pregnancy, sore boobs and a feeling, plus no pre-period spotting that I usually get. Got BFP on the day my period was due.

I felt like I had butterflies 24/7 you know like the nervous feeling you get before like a job interview, I'd never had it before so I tested not thinking anything and the line appeared before the test had finished loading!

Really sore nipples, and a metallic taste in my mouth.
