What pregnancy symptom made you test?

I'm 8dpo, for the last 2 days I've had overwhelming nausea and today I'm finding it hard to stay awake! This is unusual for me. I've also felt dizzy and light headed. It's too early to test so I'm wondering if anyone has had this or what they experienced after ovulation?

I had mild period type cramps and back ache, followed by some old brown blood. I waited a couple of days then got a metallic taste in my mouth (as in nothing tasted nice at all) so tested and got my BFP!

First time - no period!
Second time - felt sick

Nipples tingling and throwing up am

Insanely sore boobs, a friend hugged me and I gasped in pain.... 13 dpo

No symptoms until 12dpo when I had sushi and then stomachs ache when my dh shared the same sushi and he was fine. Although I assumed af was just on its way so that wasn’t the ‘aha’ moment.

The real clue was at 15dpo waking up at 4am! That’s literally a flag for my body saying there’s hcg or an imbalance. It happened during my first pregnancy which ended in mc. So 3 days in a row of 4ams and I was 95% sure, and 5% unsure, by 4 days I told dh I thought I was pregnant and even he said he noticec I was waking too early. We were on holiday so I didn’t test for another 10 days after that, sure enough it was positive.

With baby one; who was unplanned, what made me test was hugely uncomfortwble
bloat and full tummy feeling (I was 6-7 weeks when I found out)

I had really sore boobs and some cramping (I never get cramps with a period) at 10dpo so I did a test and it came back with the faintest line possible, so wasn't convinced. The on the day my period was due (14dpo for me), I threw up at work, after I got home I did a test and it was a blazing positive.

I had the same symptoms as you OP, with my first child. Also with both kids, very sore and sensitive boobs.

Heartburn and feeling sick

I noticed my resting heart rate had increased on my Fitbit for a couple of days before period was due

No symptoms - was a day before I expected my period to come and I had the most wild, vivid dream about taking hundreds of tests and them all coming back positive. So I did one in the morning and it was. Symptoms kicked in within a few days though, cramping and dizziness.

I woke up with a taste in my mouth like it was full of iron filings, it was really strong. I'd tested a couple of days before but it was negative, the horrible iron taste made me test again and it was positive.

Iron taste in mouth and coffee made me gag. Also felt a bit light headed.

Went off prawns massively during first pregnancy, couldn't be in a room with someone eating them.
Out for a Chinese meal, a few days late but not tested. Bit into a sesame prawn toast and had to immediately remove it from my mouth. Tested positive the next day.

My period was late. tested was negative. had a light bleed. i'd just had the first covid jab and had heard stories about it messing with hormones so shrugged it off. three weeks late kept feeling dizzy and nauseaus. we were on holiday so thought i had a bit of heat stroke. got home and still felt awful. tested. turned out i was 7 weeks. i had ovulated a week later than normal so previous test had been too early, what i thought was a light period was implantation bleeding. she's now 18 months old :)

Lack of period and PMS symptoms.

I've had little symptoms until around week 8. But i had a feeling we were in luck.

Then my cat, who normally is attached to my side, would not even look at me. Like he looked visibly disturbed / disgusted whenever I tried to pet him. He ran away few times when I tried to pick him up.

So I thought I'd take a test and see :)
