I know it’s very early days but I’ve recently found out I’m pregnant and due 1st March 2024.

@eightieskid (and anyone else) I can highly recommend the “Expecting Better” by Emily Oster. It looks at all the studies on stuff like caffeine, alcohol, food etc in pregnancy and breaks down the results. It’s on offer on Amazon at the moment too

5weeks tomorrow I think! Nausea has left (I think my pre natal is helping that as it has ginger in!) still knackered, nap during the day and early to bed and still knackered. Boobs awful sore, few cramps and running to loo lots.

@Prudence00 I have completely lost my appetite too! I think it's because my nausea is so bad.

I'm so confused with my dates. So last period started in the 1st which makes me 4 weeks today. I done a clear blue digital on Monday gone that said 2-3 which would have been 4-5.

Some calculators are giving me due date 4th march and others the 7th. I have 25 day cycle.

Any advice?

3wks5d i think 🤣 Not many symptoms here. But I do agree got a weird ahh I'm hungry going on and then once the foods in front of me I'm like nah don't actually want that 😅 literally wasted £30 on a takeaway tonight just to take 3 bites and feel ill but I defo needing naps at the moment.

@L0uise35 Any idea when you ovulated? Since you have a short cycle I'd say you might have ovulated early on which would show why the CB is showing different.

@BudgetBuster ovulation I'm pretty sure was 12th June.

Yes, the clear blue seems right then! They go from conception. Very exciting, congratulations 🎊

@L0uise35 I ovulated on the 12th June and think I’m due 3rd March 😌

LMP for me is 24th but I ovulated on day 19!

My boobs are way less sore today so starting to think the worst 😫 so sad.

Taken my 4th test of the week this morning (definitely BFP) as still so nervous and can’t believe this is really happening! @PR96 try not to worry, I heard symptoms go up and down, my nausea has subsided a bit after hardly being able to eat all week but now got so much trapped wind (sorry TMI!). I think it will be different every week!

@w88 hooray for the nap. You've got it spot on with symptoms. So much happens in terms of chemical and physical changes in early pregnancy that is totally normal for symptoms to jump around.

Well today marks another day pregnant according to the tests. I think AF would have been due tomorrow if my calculations are correct. I think I'll feel calmer about it all in a couple of weeks time, at the moment I'm still waiting for the bubble to pop.

@W88 I took a test this morning (and I did one last night .. I have a problem!) One is 13dpo the other 14dpo.. I get myself so stressed in early pregnancy and af would be due today too so absolutely terrified. I can't even remember what it was like the last time I was pregnant. Might need to find my old posts on here!

@GoingToInfinity logically I know that.. and I tell others not to worry but for myself it goes the other way! And I'm now at work for 6 hours and think it's going to drag and I'll be worrying all day!

@PR96 they look like BFP to me! Honestly I’m so with you, I’m super stressed and worried about things that can happen, I’m glad I’ve found this group to keep me a little bit sane!

@PR96 this both look like super strong lines for 13/14 dpo. It's hard not to worry isn't it? Just take it a day at a time.

Here's mine at (I think) 12 dpo today.

@BraveHeart91 @L0uise35 @ddaisynner - I’ve read that as long as you take the prenatal supplements and eat what you can little and often, it’s ok for the first trimester. Hopefully, we will start to have more of an appetite in a few weeks! Keep me updated though.

@PR96 - the tenderness / sensitivity of my boobs have been up and down. I had a day or 2 where it was really mild but then went back to being really tender so please try not to worry.

Last night after a stressful few days at work and unable to relax with a glass of wine (not that I even remotely wanted one but it was a good way to relax!) I decided to pull everything out of the tops of the wardrobes and filled 3 bags full of clothes to take to the charity shop. I was completely on one as I was so on edge about the house being perfect. I really hope I’m not like this all pregnancy as it’s exhausting! We are also in the middle of an extension so not the best time to be on edge about the state of the house!

@Hopefulhoney6 did u use a predictor to get that date or add the 280 days.

Also how are people managing with work at the minute obviously it's too early to tell them but holy God it to s difficult with tiredness and nausea.

I work in social housing and cover the whole of Ireland so travel alot

@L0uise35 - that must be so difficult. I’m lucky as I work from home but I am already dreading the odd day I will need to go to an office or travel but I can’t even start to imagine what it’s like for you.

@Always09 Well I have learnt something today too - thanks!! Will use my newly acquired skill soon when I’m feeling a bit more confident! AF is due today and it’s using quite a bit of optimism to believe she’s not just going to rock up as scheduled!
