@eightieskid ahh no, I hope it's just slight nausea and not like you had last time! 🤞🏽

GoingToInfinity · 29/06/2023 08:04

I'm going to wait for a week to self refer to make sure AF doesn't arrive. Ideally I won't have my booking appointment for a few weeks as I work in a school and rather not tell them until after the holidays.

LokiCat · 29/06/2023 08:09

@GoingToInfinity ah I can understand that. I waited a few days after my AF was supposed to be due before referring.
When was your AF due for you? Fingers crossed she doesn't show her face!

The form I used said the appointment is usually between 8-10 weeks, so hopefully should fit for your timeline.

ajayelbee · 29/06/2023 08:23

Morning everyone! Can I join? Got a faint line at 9dpo on Sunday and was tentatively excited, waiting to join a group until I got a nice line, which I got this morning at 13dpo!

EDD is 7th March, but my first was a 42 week exactly baby, so anticipating similar this time 😬🤣

AF is due today/tomorrow, so hopefully won’t arrive. I’ll give it until next week to make sure I think and then do my self referral and book an early scan.

Hope everyone is feeling okay this morning!

So I thought I was having a feb baby, but went for a private scan and I'm not as far along as I thought so it's looking like it could be March instead! Can I join the chat?

This is my 2nd pregnancy, I have a 3 year old who we are buzzing to tell but when I'm a bit further along.

My boobs are so incredibly painful - I don't remember them hurting this much before! And the tiredness, oh my god I could fall asleep so easily at any moment!

BraveHeart91 · 29/06/2023 12:54

Ello ladies :)

if I’m correct I’m 5 weeks today and I don’t feel pregnant 🥴 is anyone else like this?
I have sore boobs and going toilet more but other then that nothing else.

eightieskid · 29/06/2023 13:15

@BraveHeart91 that sounds right for 5 weeks.

Question, are we able to drink any caffeine? Can we have one cup of normal coffee a day? Or is it strictly no caffeine whilst pregnant?

LokiCat · 29/06/2023 13:26

@BraveHeart91 I feel exactly the same! About 5 weeks and slight sore boobs and peeing loads.

@eightieskid I checked this last time and this is what the NHS says for caffeine (200mg) so one cup of coffee should be fine www.nhs.uk/pregnancy/keeping-well/foods-to-avoid/

Hi, I’ve just found out I’m pregnant! EDD is 9th March and this would be my 2nd baby, my first is 2.

I don’t mind setting up a fb group if others want to join, also in one from my 1st baby and it’s been great, still going strong now! It’s fully private so no one else can see it etc.

PR96 · 29/06/2023 16:42

@Always09 I'll join but not just yet.. I'm in one from my 2year olds too and loved it..but am wanting to get a bit further along before joining!

elarcoiris · 29/06/2023 17:34

@Always09 I’ll definitely join once I’m a bit further along (and probably had an early scan to confirm all ok). Love the idea but had to leave one previously when I miscarried so keen to avoid a repeat of that if possible!

Prudence00 · 29/06/2023 18:35

Has anyone else got a massively decreased appetite?

I don’t particularly have food aversions, no nausea or heightened smell. I’m just not hungry at all. I’m trying to eat little and often but it’s getting really difficult to force myself to eat.

GoingToInfinity · 29/06/2023 18:51

@Always09 I'll join 😊

GoingToInfinity · 29/06/2023 18:52

@Prudence00 I'm the opposite - couldn't fall asleep last night as my stomach was grumbling. Had slight nausea this morning though which put me off breakfast though.

Prudence00 · 29/06/2023 19:05

@GoingToInfinity That’s more of what I was expecting; to be hungrier and feel nauseous. Everything I google talks about losing your appetite due to morning sickness or nausea which is not the case for me. I will mention it to the midwife when I finally get to speak to her (she’s on holiday for the next 2-3 weeks and no cover 🙄)

BraveHeart91 · 29/06/2023 19:11

@Always09 ill join :)

BraveHeart91 · 29/06/2023 19:15

@Prudence00 i have some weirdness going on with me and food atm

im not hungry but when I eat I don’t like the taste even my favourite foods it all taste horrible it’s really put me off but I no I have to eat.

so I’m struggling with myself atm to make sure I eat.

Wotchaz · 29/06/2023 20:09

Hello ladies!! I got my BFP today, 2-3 weeks on a clear blue digital after a clear line on an IC. I’m due somewhere in 4-9 March depending on when I ovulated. This will be our third, feeling a bit scared because my youngest is only 13 months so we’ll have 2 under 2 and 3 under 5! But we were on holiday, DH didn’t pack the condoms so we decided to risk it since we’d been talking about a third anyway…and here we are!

Keen to join a private Facebook group at some point but this feels very early. I joined a group in 2019 with my first and it’s still active 4.5 years later so I know what brilliant support these groups can be.

tweener · 29/06/2023 20:23

I also got a positive test today. Not due on until Tuesday so quite early to test, wasn't expecting a positive! Would be due 10th of March.

Steamedhams · 29/06/2023 20:29

Fairly certain the faint lines have become more definitive so would like to join.

I've been very tired today just like last time. Is anyone else doing this with a toddler? My son turned 1 in may and is waddling about the place like a madman.

BudgetBuster · 29/06/2023 20:40

Everything smells ladies 😂 I'm not even 4 weeks until tomorrow so didn't expect any symptoms but I am gagging at the smell of food and grass and just everyday stuff!

Steamedhams · 29/06/2023 20:50

You could try peppermint oil? Might help ease the symptoms a bit. Or ginger?

Congratulations btw 😁

Hopefulhoney6 · 29/06/2023 20:53

@BraveHeart91 absolutely no symptoms for me at all and I think that is very normal at 4-5 weeks!

@eightieskid I’m avoiding caffeine, but only because I drank it (within the limits) when last pregnant and had a miscarriage so I just want to try and be super “clean” but lots of friends have drunk it. Just be careful with the strength of shop bought coffees….
Ive also been drinking alcohol free beers and some 0.5% and some literature online says that’s fine, others dispute it so I think you have to do what feels ok for you.
