Hello everyone. Nervously joining the chat as I'm just over 5 weeks now. I had 2 losses before my first baby was born. Hoping to welcome his sibling mid-March.
Is anyone able to tell me how to join the Facebook group? I tried the links earlier in the thread but they didn't work for me.
Thank you

Thank you for the link. I've also asked to join.

Praying that Facebook doesn't 'out' me and share the new group I've joined.

blodyn91 · 15/07/2023 20:15

Ive joined the FB group, but as its still so early I prefer chatting here 🫢 just incase somone I know also joins 🤣🤣

ScottishStardust · 15/07/2023 20:40

Haha I was the same with my sons MN FB page but quickly discovered that there wasn't many folk from Scotland on it.

I'll probably do both lol

Aquarius93 · 16/07/2023 07:53

Hi everyone! I got a faint BFP on Wednesday but did a digital this morning so it’s starting to feel real! This is baby #2 for me and our daughter is 18 months.

My due date at the moment is 21st March. I’m expecting it to be later as I don’t ovulate until CD20 but I think I may have implanted quite early as I’m supposedly only 11DPO today but got 2-3 weeks on my digital.

So far only symptom is terrible sleep!

LeopardLover · 16/07/2023 09:40

@Aquarius93 Congratulations 😊

The non-stop nausea has really kicked in for me and is only eased by eating 😅 can anyone recommend some healthyish snacks? Fruit really helps but I'm going through so many punnets of berries each week! Pre-nausea I could snack on vegetables but not any more.

FNR · 16/07/2023 11:29

Me 🙋‍♀️ Worrying tho none of my tests are super super dark like the control line?! Is that normal I think I'm about 4 weeks 2 days

ScottishStardust · 16/07/2023 12:06

@FNR - I'm also having the same worry! I took a digital this morning and it say 1-2 weeks which may explain it. Going by my last LMP date I should be 4w2d which confused me - but google says that CB digital is 2 weeks out as it goes on hormones levels which is from conception.

Just trying to ride the storm and hope it works out.

I found popcorn and ice lollies (the kiddies brands like Little Jude's are low in sugar too) worked well for healthy morning sickness snacks in my last pregnancy.

FNR · 16/07/2023 12:10

Yeah my digital says 1-2 weeks too, Sending good wishes to us both

Scarletthoping · 16/07/2023 12:53

Hello, hope it’s OK to join in. I’m 3 weeks + 6. First baby. App says due date could be 25th March.
I tested for the first time yesterday on DPO13 and got a very strong line on easy @ home. Then tried Boots and got the same and then clearblue which said 1-2 weeks! Couldn’t believe it.
Had really bad insomnia last night and have a bad headache. Have been feeling cramps and have sore boobs. Also took against a beef burger at a BBQ yesterday 🤢

LeopardLover · 16/07/2023 12:58

@ChelseaaBun Thank you for replying! Such a good idea. My son has the Little Jude ice creams so I will look for the lolly versions. Popcorn is a great shout too 😊💜

LeopardLover · 16/07/2023 13:00

@ScottishStardust @FNR Clearblue digital tests are infamous for causing anxiety!! It's such early days, you need to add 2 weeks to what you see. You might have implanted a little later, which is why you're still getting 1-2. Some women get really far in pregnancy but never see 3+. Sending lots of love!

LeopardLover · 16/07/2023 13:02

@Scarletthoping Congratulations! Sounds like you are quite sensitive to the HCG but welcome 😁💜 lots of other women have the insomnia too - and welcome to the nausea club 🤮

Scarletthoping · 16/07/2023 15:37

Thanks so much @LeopardLover ! Yeah I think I must be. Quite scared I’m going to get bad morning sickness because I’m quite vommy in general… like if I’m ever really nervous I’ll vom, for example 🤢🤢🤢

How far along are you? Xx

LeopardLover · 16/07/2023 16:47

@Scarletthoping Oh you poor thing! You might avoid it, I was never sick with my son although I feel worse this time around 👀 I'm 5+6 days. Looking forward to 6 weeks, then my next milestone is 8 weeks 😅x

Bellabeemarie · 16/07/2023 18:15

Hey everyone, just got my faint BFP today says due date is 28th March 2024 😁❤

Congratulations everyone xxx

Labyrinth86 · 16/07/2023 22:41

Congratulations to everyone!!!

I think I'll be 7 weeks tomorrow and I'm still not really experiencing morning sickness. I know that on its own isn't reason to worry but with my first I was really sick so it's making me anxious this baby isn't sticking. Anyone else not have morning sickness or mums with multiple children already, were any of your pregnancies this vastly different?

HKS90 · 17/07/2023 02:41

@Labyrinth86

Not personally as this is my first but I told my mum we are expecting today and she told me she was sick as a dog with me, and barely knew she was pregnant with my brother. Both healthy pregnancies so hopefully it will be the same for you!

MrsG2907 · 17/07/2023 05:51

@Labyrinth86 hey, I’m exactly the same, around 7 weeks and mild symptoms like cramps and tiredness but I have had nearly no nausea. My last pregnancy I was very sick, nauseous and I had terrible smell sensitivity. Hoping it’s just because it’s a different pregnancy… are you having an early scan ? X

blodyn91 · 17/07/2023 07:36

@Labyrinth86 I feel both of mine are different, I've felt nore sick this time, although been good past few days, but I'm knackered!
Try an remain optimistic.

Is everyone taking pregnancy vitamins?
Ive been taking folic acid, vitamin D & spatone for iron.

Also decided to tell my parents weekend 12/13 of August! so another month of keeping this a secret 🫣 Husband wants to tell parents before friends, but Im dying to tell my friends 🤣

Hopefulhoney6 · 17/07/2023 08:11

@Labyrinth86 Im 7+1 and have zero symptoms. Second pregnancy, but first I had no symptoms and it ended in a missed miscarriage where the embryo developed but I never got a fast heartbeat.

But google tells me there are loads and loads of people who never get symptoms and all pregnancies are different.

its been driving me crazy with anxiety.

I’m having a scan today though so I’ll know whether it’s viable by this evening.

LeopardLover · 17/07/2023 08:25

@Labyrinth86 I barely had symptoms with my son! Such an easy pregnancy (until the end). This is time... 🤢 Dizziness, sensitivity to smells headache and nausea. All 24/7. Actually not sure how I can hide it, I managed to hide my last pregnancy from many friends and work until 22 weeks, now I want to tell everyone at 6.

I was wishing for symptoms and now I want to take them away!

@Hopefulhoney6 Sending you lots of positive vibes!!
