Ah I'm sorry to hear that. Nausea is awful. I had it day and night with my first until the day after she was born! I hope yours doesn't last too long.

Kirstylvsya · 26/06/2023 19:16

Oh sorry @eightieskid ment to tag @L0uise35 in post below about nausea. Can never get used to who I'm replying to Blush

PeeBeee · 26/06/2023 19:47

Hi all! Hope I can join! I am 5+1 today and tentatively joining thread for when the time comes to start a fb page as I found it fantastic with my DD!

my edd is 26th Feb so more than likely be a March baby (or a leap year baby which will essentially have a March 1st birthday most years! Lol)

Meganann · 26/06/2023 20:33

I’m due beginning of March too pregnant with my second my first came almost 4 weeks early so maybe another early baby. But omg I am so scared I just want to be past 12 weeks now 🥹 not many symptoms yet been havinf cramps all week hopefully it’s a good sign 💙

Kirstylvsya · 27/06/2023 11:02

How's everyone feeling today? Can we do a list of symptoms to compare. @ithinkiwannamarryyou @Ladyinpink1 @KatY9876 @thebloatisreal @L0uise35

I'm about 4/5 weeks.

Boobs hurt
Urination 24/7
Fatigue
Nausea (has eased a bit now)
Headaches on and off.

Scan booked for 8 weeks, still doesn't feel real.

KatY9876 · 27/06/2023 11:20

@Kirstylvsya

I'm 4 weeks 4 days today, my symptoms are

Sore breasts
Funny taste in mouth, and very slight sore throat, I did have that with missed miscarriage last year.
Also had loose stools

I didn't have much symptoms last time and I was anxious but I do think it is very early days.

I did a digital last Thursday when I would have been 3 weeks 6 days and got my 1-2 weeks which would be right for 3-4 weeks. I have got 2 more digital tests coming today so I will test today and hopefully get 2-3 weeks then will test again on Sunday to hopefully get my 3+.

I will also book a early scan but waiting to hear from midwife as I might get NHS early scan due to miscarriages. I completed online form last Friday so hopefully hear from them soon.

What vitamin are people taking? I was on nua conceive but will probably go and get the NHS healthy start ones as midwife recommended them last time. I also take high dose folic acid daily due to diabetes.

Hope everyone feeling ok. X

@Kirstylvsya

Hey I am 4 wks and 2 days.

Today I still have really bad nausea - rich tea biscuits help.
Super sensitive nipples.
Digestive issues - loose stool
Fatigue
Very bloated

Going to ring my doctor on Monday as I have a blood clotting disorder so need to get some sort of blood thinners.

Ladyinpink1 · 27/06/2023 11:54

Hello!

I am 4 weeks today. I don't really have many symptoms and what I do have is mild;

-stronger sense of smell
-sore breasts
-felt a little cramping today
-definitely loose bowl too (glad to read that as a symptom of others as I thought I had just eaten too many blueberries lol

Those who are booking an early scan... how many weeks is the best time to do this?
I had been reading up on it and it seems to be safe so I am keen to get some reassurance 😊

Welcometothehumanrace · 27/06/2023 12:07

Hello all, and congratulations! I'm not telling anyone IRL about my pregnancy (for a while) so would love to join and have people to chat with!

4weeks +5:
Going to the loo!
Very tired
Loads of cramping and sooo bloated, can't fit in my jeans already!

X

Kirstylvsya · 27/06/2023 12:32

Sorry didn't mean the tag below 🤣

Oh we are all pretty similar. I done another test yesterday but not going to bother with anymore.

I researched early scans and booked mine for 8 weeks as any earlier than that you cause yourself unnecessary stress if your measuring behind etc

KatY9876 · 27/06/2023 12:51

@Kirstylvsya

Yeah I might book 6-7 weeks I know that at 6 weeks you might not see much or hear heartbeat.

I went for private scan last time at 10 weeks as husband wasn't keen for early scan. My 10 week scan showed that pregnancy was only around 6 weeks.

I did self referral for early pregnancy clinic who did another scan a few days later, which showed the same. Then other scan 1 week later to confirm miscarriage. I had no signs of anything wrong and still had positive tests at around 8 weeks and still had symptoms. I then had to go into hospital to miscarry.

I know I might not see much early but I am anxious anyway. If something not right I would rather know earlier. X

Hopefulhoney6 · 27/06/2023 13:00

@Kirstylvsya

Zero symptoms for me… 4+2. Making me scared as I had zero symptoms when I had my miscarriage in November. And I just knew something was wrong.

but I also know it’s super early so I’m trying to stay relaxed!! And I’m on holiday so not really noticing anything!

Kirstylvsya · 27/06/2023 13:07

@KatY9876 I had a missed miscarriage also about 7 years ago. Went for 16 week check up no heartbeat on Doppler so was sent for a scan which confirmed no heartbeat and baby was around 13/14 weeks. Heartbreaking.

Totally get the anxiety around things, I would go for a scan now if I could but don't want to torment myself Confused

thebloatisreal · 27/06/2023 16:52

Hi @Kirstylvsya I'm doing ok.. Still no AF.. and haven't done anymore tests again since the weekend. So tempted to go buy a test while on my holiday but I don't want the stress off having more positives & negatives again while im away. So going to wait until the weekend which will hopefully give a clearer picture. IlI'd be around 5weeks then. I do have alot of nausea non stop since last week, i had an aching back yesterday. Also have aloooooot of watery/slimy discharge: Has anyone else has this as a symptom? Also my boobs feel so full and heavy. Hoping its all good signs though🤞

Poppins2016 · 27/06/2023 18:45

@thebloatisreal I think we're in the same boat...

The top test is yesterday (9 dpo)
Middle test 5 am this morning (10 dpo)
Bottom test this evening (still 10 dpo) and there's a very faint line.
I thought I could see an incredibly faint line when I tested this morning but couldn't capture it in a photo. This evenings test has progressed to a stronger yet still very faint line...

I'm not sure whether to get my hopes up or not?! I know, I know... I need to test FMU tomorrow (and/or wait a few days)! 🤔🤣

Is anyone due March 2024!?
KatY9876 · 27/06/2023 22:19

@thebloatisreal yes I had more discharge for a few days before I had my positive at 3 weeks 6 days, I didn't check ovulation this month as we were on holiday. Could you have ovulated late? Fingers crossed for you. X

8251peacock · 27/06/2023 22:52

Hi all, would like to (tentatively) join - due date according to dates 29th Feb (!) but everyone in the Feb chats is weeks ahead of me so would be happier here if you’ll have me!
Not feeling very confident at all after a MMC at about 8 weeks with surgical management in May of last year and a chemical pg just last month, plus am very nearly 42. But I’m here for now at least. Hopefully will be able to stay til March but just taking each day as it comes atm.
I have good strong test lines which have got darker over last few days but no other symptoms as yet, not even sore boobs. So that’s not helping the nerves.
I booked an early scan last year at 10w because I knew I didn’t feel pg and sickness never started, and I turned out to be correct. So as mad as it sounds I’m hoping for some sickness soon as a sign that it’s actually progressing. Best of luck to all ✨

GoingToInfinity · 28/06/2023 06:31

Can I very very tentatively join? I just got a faint positive but trying desperately not to get my hopes up as I had a chemical pregnancy last month (my period was only a week overdue). I'm very anxious it will happen again, and haven't even told DH about the positive test as he took it very hard last month.

I think I would be due on March 11th, but it is hard to tell given my hormones have been all over the place.

Keeping my fingers crossed for a sticky pregnancy this time.

Poppins2016 · 28/06/2023 07:00

@GoingToInfinity I haven't told my DH yet either because my tests so far have been real squinters. I tried a First Response this morning and got another squinter of a line within 3 minutes, which I think is reassuring (I trust First Response) and it's a little easier to see than on the IC strip tests! I guess I need to hang in there and be patient.
I'm only 11 dpo, so very early days. I'd be due around the same time as you (I have wonky cycles due to PCOS so can't pinpoint an accurate date but somewhere between 07-12 March).
I'm sorry about your chemical pregnancy. That must make this waiting time serm especially long. I'll keep my fingers crossed for both of us 🤞

GoingToInfinity · 28/06/2023 07:05

@Poppins2016
Sounds good that you got a positive within a few minutes, even if it is a squinter. Would this be your first baby? I have nearly 6 y/o DS. We didn't intend to have such a big age gap, but life happened.
I actually burst in to tears this morning when I got the positive test - not out of excitement but actually out of dread. I'm worried I'm going to have a repeat chemical. Hopefully if the lines get darker over the coming days it will reassure me, as the lines didn't really get darker last month.

Poppins2016 · 28/06/2023 07:09

Is anyone having oddly strong symptoms even though it's very early days? I keep feeling mild waves of nausea, dry mouth, tender nipples (I'm still breastfeeding my previous "baby", now 20 months), hot sweats at night... I didn't experience symptoms this early in my two previous pregnancies. It's definitely not in my head (I'm actually a little relieved that I've had faint positives on tests because even if this early pregnancy doesn't stick, it proves my hormones are fluctuating and I'm not imagining things). Just slightly taken aback, I guess! I suppose all pregnancies are different...

GoingToInfinity · 28/06/2023 07:11

Yes, I'm am absolutely bloomin' exhausted. I've been in bed by 8 the last three nights, and was like this with my first too. I also seem to have a heightened sense of smell already too, much like my first pregnancy.

Hope you get some relief from the nausea as otherwise it might be a very long first trimester for you 😬

Poppins2016 · 28/06/2023 07:15

@GoingToInfinity this will actually be my third baby. DH and I have been discussing trying for another for a while (hearts said yes, but heads were worried about practicalities) and finally gave it a go this month... I have PCOS and endometriosis and conceived my last two babies while on Metformin (because I wasn't ovulating consistently), so we'll be very lucky indeed if this works out.

That must have been so hard this morning, I guess it must feel as though there's a risk that history might repeat itself, however there's also every chance that it'll be OK. I really hope you get some reassuring lines over the next few days 🌸

Oddly, I feel quite energetic (although I've just got my mojo back following long covid and anaemia) and thankfully the waves of nausea aren't too bad... but I definitely didn't feel like this (this early on) with my previous pregnancies... hopefully it won't get worse!
