I know it’s very early days but I’ve recently found out I’m pregnant and due 1st March 2024.

@thebloatisreal I do see a faint line, but if it's outside the test window I would ignore.

I had tests go positive after the test window last month with my chemical - I'm sure that's not what you want to hear 😢

My advice would be leave it a few days and test again.

@thebloatisreal that's how mine have been looking the last couple of days and I just got a faint BFP on an early detection clear blue today.
Will keep my fingers crossed for you! 🤞🏼

@GoingToInfinity @PamelaShipman80 I agree, I know what I'm buying this time! We've kept everything but I'll be buying a Babybjorn bouncer, a dockatot, and a Babyzen Yoyo this time. All things I couldn't justify the first time around! I have kept all my son's clothes and most are unisex 😊

@L0uise35 Sorry you were made to feel stupid. I guess without the context the locum didn't understand but it's not acceptable anyway. This is a very exciting time, the EPU and your community midwives will make you feel special and cared for!

@RosieS22 can I ask if I can see you faint lines? I done another test but its an extremely light one.. congrats to you👏🏿💓

@GoingToInfinity yeah I'm think its an evap, done another test which shows yhe faintest of lines. Ill upload it here but I don't think the photo captures it

@thebloatisreal I personally don't see it on those ones.
I will say though, evaps are usually colourless so if you see some colour there must have been some HcG

@L0uise35 please try not to feel stupid! You should absolutely have not been made to feel that way. I have had poor experiences in the past with locums and it certainly says more about them.

@thebloatisreal Fingers crossed for you! Annoyingly these ones are known for evaps with colour so I didn't believe my squinter when I got it, but it turned out to be legit! So I hope there is more colour for you tomorrow 🙏🏻

Of course - the first was from yesterday late PM which you can hardly see. Then the second pic is from late morning today.
I realised I've tested a couple of days earlier than I did with my first pregnancy so I'm not surprised that the lines are lighter.
Sorry if I've missed info from an earlier post, but do you normally have long cycles? It could well be that you ovulated later than you thought/expected?
I would test again tomorrow to see if the colour gets darker. I know the waiting is a nightmare though!

Ugh so the lady I had scan me at hospital gave no reassurance and was kinda rude 🤦🏻‍♀️so she said everything is where it’s supposed to be could see yolk sac ect but couldn’t get right measurements as it’s very early I think she’s put me down as 5.5 weeks which I quickly looked on the paper not that she told me she was absolutely rubbish and felt very rushed didn’t show me anything either. She wants me to go back in 2 weeks on the 17th. But we have our private scan on Saturday which I’m hoping they will explain abit more and put my mind at ease. The women at hospital said I don’t have an answer for the bleeding 😑 and sent me on my way.

so now I’m like is the baby actually there and growing or is it just a sac with no baby which will lead me to miscarriage 😩🤦🏻‍♀️. X

@BraveHeart91 Ugh, I'm sorry she didn't reassure you and was rude - that's not helpful at all! It's a good sign she did say everything looked good for being so small though and baby is in the right place 😊 Sometimes you can't see much until 6-7 weeks because it's so early on, but hopefully you get more insight at the weekend. I just found this article which might be helpful? It suggests waiting a little later and the rationale but also tells you what you'd see at each week!

Oh @BraveHeart91 that sucks. For this early on them seeing everything where it should be is a good sign. Is 5+5 roughly what you expected?

@PR96 i did expect it to be around 5 week mark yeah which is good I just don’t have the throwing up and tiredness all I have is peeing more and sore boobs and sometimes my sore boobs fade off 😂🤦🏻‍♀️ I feel like I’m on a rollercoaster with them atm. X

@LeopardLover thank you I will have a read tonight when in bed :). we booked the private scan before all the bleeding started so it’s been booked for 2 weeks now, other half wants to go to get reassured aswell and he swore down he saw two yolks as he stood up and watched her scan me 😬 but I didn’t see but it’s will be his first baby so he don’t no what he looking for 🤦🏻‍♀️😂 x

Well there's probably still time for another one to show up on the scan 😉 I found my private scan experience really lovely so hopefully you'll notice the difference with this one! X

I'm peeing lots and my boobs are either really sore or nothing.. I wasn't sick with my last pregnancy.. well once at 37 weeks .. I had pretty much the same symptoms as I do now and honestly thought when I had my dating scan they'd tell me I was an idiot and to go home there's no baby because I get fine.

We're toying with the idea of an early scan but I just can't decide whether to or not!

@BraveHeart91 I'm sorry your scan didn't help much. I have also been having some bleeding/spotting and I spoke to my GP today. They called the EPU, but they said they wouldn't scan me until 6 weeks, so I need to wait until next Monday, and if I'm still spotting, they'll book me in for a scan.

@PR96 I don't have symptoms either - I don't even have the sore boobs 😬 I remember it being like this last time and also feeling the same, like there would be nothing at the scan 😅 my cramping has eased a bit too. I'd love a little nausea 😂

@LeopardLover not too bad at the moment.. nausea etc kicked in around 7 weeks with my first so I’m sure it’s on its way lol.

I'm really struggling with work, I work in a nursery and do 3 long days 7:30-6 and 2 shorter days but I'm getting so tired

I honestly slept 13 hours last night 🙈🙈 and still took a test this morning just to make sure the lack of symptons is odd for me ngl. Though still early 4+2 so hopefully next week lol

@LeopardLover still lightly spotting, so calling EPU today given my previous loss!! And going to have a little break from mumsnet just to ease my anxiety. Hopefully I’ll be back on this thread at some point x

@Kay00 oh really how long have u been spotting for? Mine started last week after sex we’ve come to the conclusion we can’t have sex coz every time we do the deed I spot and we both go into panic mode.

@ddaisynner i have lack of symptoms aswel my boobs usually so sensitive and sore but since last night they have eased off and other then going a wee more I wouldn’t kno I’m pregnant- with my daughters I was sick as a dog all day long.
