I know it’s very early days but I’ve recently found out I’m pregnant and due 1st March 2024.

I’m due to see the midwives in just over 2 weeks.

I’ve felt so rough today, retching in the shower and falling asleep on the sofa. I start 3 night shifts tomorrow…pray for me 😅

@Lizzy26 ohhh sending you lots of love for your night shifts! I have to go abroad for work at the end of this month and am dreading the thought of it! 😂

I’m having some major anxiety about my scan tomorrow morning, I don’t know what to expect I’ve never had one done so early.

im scared nothing will be there or it there will be something but something wrong. 🤦🏻‍♀️

@BraveHeart91 remind me how far along you think you are. It's totally understandable to be nervous. Hoping it all goes well for you though;

@GoingToInfinity i think I’m about 5 weeks and 3 days it’s being done at the hospital early pregnancy unit. As I was bleeding last week. This is a whole new experience for me I never had any bleeding with my others. And thank you.

Hi all!

Throwing my post into the mix! I am 4w + 5d, my ds is 22 months. Due date on calculator is 5 March.

I had an emergency c section with ds, hoping to have another c this time. A question for those who may have experience with repeat c's, are they often booked in for before the due date as standard? Or have I made that up...

This is going to sound silly, but I don’t seem to be able to work out my EDD! I’m 16DPO, had 2-3 weeks on a clearblue digital 3 days ago and my LMP was 30 May. I ovulated 6 days later than normal and it’s really thrown me 🤣. No significant symptoms yet, v tired but that’s pretty normal with 2 young DC. Had a blazing positive on an IC yesterday, but decided I’m not going to spend the money on a digital just to see “3+ weeks”.

@Wotchaz I have strange cycles also. To get a correct date I always count back 14 days from your ovulation if you know what day you ovulated and use that as your first day of period. X

@BraveHeart91 I'll be thinking of you! I used to find smear tests a bit painful but it's not like that at all and they lube it up so it doesn't hurt 😊 I got asked if I wanted to insert it but I changed my mind because they know the angles better than me. I didn't bleed xx

Hey all I am going to the GP tomorrow and I am still trying to figure out my proper EDD..the calculators online are telling menthe 4th march but if I add 280 days to the day of my last period it is the 7th march

@Wotchaz if the clear blue digital said 3+ that makes you 5 weeks +, the clear blue digital tell you time from conception not weeks pregnant. The bottom of the instructions page at the right corner should explain this. If it was the same type of tests I used. Hope this helps.

Have been testing daily somewhat obsessively since I got my first BFP last Sunday. Never really had much line progression in my previous losses so has been helpful to see those lines getting darker. Anyway, got my dye stealer this morning at 17dpo/4+3 so think it might be time to PUT. THE. TESTS. AWAY. (She says knowing full well she’ll probably be peeing on things again tomorrow morning 🙈)

@elarcoiris thats a great test! I’ve told myself I’ll test until 20DPO but I genuinely don’t know why I’m doing it 😂 I know it doesn’t guarantee viability or anything, it just feels great seeing a second line every morning and then seeing that they’re getting darker.

@glasspaw Yeah, I’ve done exactly the same with ICs too. I will run out at some point and am determined not to buy any more. Probably going to try and go to every other day rather than daily now, which will at least get me to an early scan!

@elarcoiris @glasspaw Lovely lines 😍 last time I only used two tests (first test at 18DO, this time I've used one proper test and 3 ICs already 🤣 I think I'll wait a few days and then take another. If I can 👀 might buy a digital for the weekend! I'm still only 3 weeks 6 days so still very early days.

@Steamedhams thank you. I'm definitely feeling very apprehensive. Sadly those who have been through it, will know that recurrent pregnancy loss kills any excitement at all with BFPs, but I'm trying to be optimistic! I have no symptoms this time either which doesn't help and enhanced the shock of the positive.

I've been trying desperately not to test for the last few days. I tested Tuesday-Saturday multiple times a day 🙈 then didn't test yesterday or this morning. I have 4 ICs left and one clear blue digital. Think I'll do an IC on Wednesday before I phone to make the booking appointment and then the digital test at the weekend to see if it's ticked over to 3+ weeks.
I've put too much thought in to this!

No real symptoms for me yet, nipples feel a bit bruised but not mega sore! For those trying to work out due date, I just added 40 weeks from the day of my last period!! @MamaToJB from what I’ve read they book a planned section in for 39 weeks exactly! I will be having a section too! Does anyone know if they do planned CS on weekends..? Im starting to worry slightly about childcare arrangements if it is a weekend as we don’t leave our other one with anyone else ever!!
