I also POAS this morning and couldn't see a line! But ive got some early tests coming from Amazon so I just have to be patient. My daughter usually wakes at 7.30 and decided to wake at 6.30 today so I'm feeling very tired 😴😴

L0uise35 · 02/07/2023 09:31

@Kay00 I am letting my GP know Monday. I'll be 5 weeks then but I am in Ireland so things are slightly different.

This is my first and when I told GP I was coming off the pill he said to me to make sure to let him know straight away if I get a positive. I have a blood clotting disorder.

Also me and my OH also have birthdays the same week, mid july

Kirstylvsya · 02/07/2023 11:42

Anyone else have permanent hard nips? Confused

tweener · 02/07/2023 11:50

I've been in touch with our GP surgery, they've booked me in for my first appointment at 9 weeks. Got another 5 to go :)

KatY9876 · 02/07/2023 12:01

I did a online self referral last week and midwife called me on Saturday. I have my booking appointment at nearly 9 weeks and got date for my 12 week scan at exactly 12 weeks. She is going to refer me to diabetic pregnancy team on Monday and she is going to speak to someone on Monday to try and book me a early scan due to previous miscarriages. I'm 5 weeks 2 days. I did my last digital today and got my 3+.

I'm still anxious and it's silly but I actually what to have more symptoms and feel sick.

Last time lack of symptoms was a concern for me and when I went for scan it showed a missed miscarriage.

Hey everyone, can I please join! 🙋🏻‍♀️ I got my first BFP yesterday but didn't believe it, so a FRER confirmed it today (13DPO). This will be baby #2 and I have a 2 year old. 😊

@Always09 I'd love to join the FB group when I'm further along, I'm still in the one I joined when I was pregnant with my son.

I don't really have any symptoms other than strange little pricking / bubbling cramps. But I was the same with my cheeky toddler! I'll be buying more tests today 🤣

BraveHeart91 · 02/07/2023 12:26

@LeopardLover hello congratulations and welcome

my symptoms are peeing more frequently and mega sore boobs I don’t have any other symptoms I think I’m about 5 weeks and 2 days. I have a scan tomorrow at the EPU.

dindot · 02/07/2023 12:29

Hi! I'm also joining.. got BFP today which was a huge surprise as I've had no symptoms. Had quite a few with my first so knew I was pregnant before the test confirmed it first time round.

Very excited but also feeling a bit daunted now it's real and expecting baby no. 2!

Kay00 · 02/07/2023 12:46

Haha 😅 I never have been but those two lines are a novelty. And to be honest after 3years of trying plus drugs/hormones/IVF/Operations, I never thought I'd see it.

I have had a little brown spotting again today, I'm hoping it's old blood from yesterday. The NHS website says it could still be implantation bleeding at 5 weeks.

I'm tempted to call my fertility clinic (who have essentially discharged me now) to see if I can take the progesterone suppositories I have (from the IVF round I was about to start), to support me in this early pregnancy stage.

KatY9876 · 02/07/2023 13:22

@Kay00 I would call them to ask the question. It will maybe reassure you and you will know what to do for the best. X

LeopardLover · 02/07/2023 13:59

@BraveHeart91 Thank you! Congratulations to you too 😁 oooh, scans are so exciting! Is there a reason you've got one booked in? Hope it goes well!

@dindot A fellow non-symptom BFP! It can be stressful when you don't have any symptoms, but it's also easier 😅

Can you believe I just went to buy more tests, I'm reaching down to the bottom shelf and my husband's best friend says hello 🙈 I threw them back onto the shelf and continued chatting for 15 mins until he left and I could pick them up again 😑🤣 if he didn't realise he's pretty unobservant.

wonderland28 · 02/07/2023 14:37

@Kay00 i rung my GP on Friday and let them know and they asked me to fill in a form for a midwife appointment, I wasn’t really sure what to do but they were really helpful and hopefully midwife will call end of next week

BraveHeart91 · 02/07/2023 14:39

@LeopardLover i had abit of bleeding last week so they want to scan me - I haven’t bled since thank god! But I’m absolutely crapping myself. Never had an early scan before.

elarcoiris · 02/07/2023 15:10

@Kay00 Definitely makes sense to call them and ask. One of my friends has recently tested positive in between IVF cycles and they’ve advised her to use the progesterone as she would’ve if it had been an IVF conception, so I would imagine would make sense for you too!

vix_85 · 02/07/2023 15:26

Hello, tentatively joining after a positive on an easy at home strip test this morning. EDD 9th Match. I had a d&c in May for MC #5 and if this +tive sticks, it'll be my 6th pregnancy, no living children.

I feel incredibly apprehensive and worried but tentatively over the moon. We're waiting on the genetics still from May and had been advised to stop trying for now, but it seems that some ad hoc tracking, no pressure and a spur of the moment quickie might have caught. I haven't told my DH yet as I don't want to get his hopes up as it's been a really challenging few years with the MCs. I am definitely going to watch and wait in the next week or so.

Sending everyone all the baby dust xx

Oh really glad you haven't bled since, I know a few friends who had bleeding early on and had healthy pregnancies! I had a private one at 8 weeks, it was good, ❤️ just be prepared for an internal scan 😅x

BraveHeart91 · 02/07/2023 15:35

@LeopardLover 😬🤦🏻‍♀️ omg I’m not ready for it 😂 yeah I started bleeding pink Monday night after sex when wiped then by Tuesday it was like blood red. Told my partner stay away from me 😂

Steamedhams · 02/07/2023 16:04

@vix_85 Welcome and congratulations on your pregnancy.

I'm sorry for your previous losses. How are you feeling today?

JJxxxxx · 02/07/2023 16:26

Congratulations to you all
im due 4th March 2024 - I experienced a chemical at the end of April so I’m a bit nervous but keeping fingers crossed that this is our sticky bean 🌈

wonderland28 · 02/07/2023 17:29

Is anyone else getting occasional pelvic cramps, I’ve been getting it for the past week similar to where you’d experience period cramps? Not painful or uncomfortable but definitely noticeable but I have endometriosis so I think my pain level for cramps is tolerable for the most part and try to avoid painkillers as much as possible!

PR96 · 02/07/2023 18:26

@wonderland28 I am getting occasional cramps and if I twist in a weird way I get sudden pain, which relay reminds me of the ligament pains I got in my last pregnancy so assuming it's the relaxin already getting to work

GoingToInfinity · 02/07/2023 18:29

@wonderland28 mine sounds quite similar to @PR96 particularly with the stretching or weird positions. I have a couple of sneezes and (tmi) farts which I've felt have stretched right across my pubic line in a weird way.
Light occasional cramping too.

PR96 · 02/07/2023 18:31

Omg @GoingToInfinity you just reminded me.. I sneezed earlier and had a very sudden pain that went as quick as it came on!

wonderland28 · 02/07/2023 18:34

@PR96 @GoingToInfinity okay that makes me feel better! But yeah it’s just occasional cramping normally when I’m laying down but if I move around it eases off so that makes me feel a bit better! I was feeling really faint today but I’m such a fussy/picky eater that I tend to skip meals which will have to stop! 😂

TMI but I don’t think I’ve ever farted so much in my life 🤣

LeopardLover · 02/07/2023 18:38

@vix_85 Sounds like you've been through a lot, sorry to hear this - really hoping this little one hangs in there 🙏🏻

@BraveHeart91 Hopefully nothing serious, just some irritation 😊 haha I don't blame you 😂 wait for that scan before giving him the all clear again 😜

@JJxxxxx sorry about your cp - fingers crossed this is the one!

@wonderland28 I have lots of cramps! I remember this was the only symptom with my son x
