8DPO, BFP or EVAP?

Hi! I am 8DPO today and just wondered what symptoms everyone is feeling/what symptoms you had before your BFP!
I started on 5DPO with some mild cramping in my lower stomach and right pelvic area. This lasted about a day and a half. Hoping that may be implantation but im not sure as i had no spotting or anything. 6/7DPO i had a mild headache and slight nausea. Now on 8DPO i am very gassy and feeling sick again. I ran to the toilet to be sick earlier and (tmi) as i bent down to be sick i had a little accident from the other end 😖! Also started today with a sore and slimy throat, probably just hayfever but i have heard this can be a symptom. I have been feeling quite irritable and emotional the past 2 days but nothing different to when AF is coming. I took a boots early detection test yesterday which had a very very faint line, photo attached. Not classing it as a BFP as it could have been an evap line. So i did an FRER this morning with FMU and BFN. It had the slightest line when i really really looked at it but definitely no colour to it so definitely an evap. I am hoping it is just too early and my BFP is right around the corner. Has anyone had similar symptoms and gone on to get a BFP?

I see some colour in that line so therefore more likely to be a positive 😃

I really hope so! It's so faint though. DH says he can't see anything but I think he is just trying to stop me getting too excited until we know for sure x

none of those symptoms above, my nipples were just rock solid and then implantation spotting were my signs. Everyone's different though! Sounds promising so far!

Ooh, I haven't noticed any changes with my boobs. My nipples were slightly tender yesterday but barely noticeable. Completely back to normal today. I'll probably be testing every morning for the next week! Haha

I've had nausea to the point of heaving but nothing actually coming out.. tired and sleep changes, plus going for a wee in the night. I've also got really bad tonsillitis, which I'm hoping is a good sign! First pregnancy (ended in mc) I had a bad cold at the start and second (chemical pregnancy) I had tonsillitis, which was last month.

hi! :) Yes my nausea has been very similar to yours, nothing is coming but i feel like it needs to. i have found myself struggling to stay asleep too, but mostly because im desperate for a wee all night but trying to hold it in until the morning so i can POAS 😂
So sorry to hear about your mc and chemical! fingers crossed we both get a BFP this time and have sticky beans🤗

@jadeyjade8 when do you plan on testing again?

I am hoping to wait until Father's Day on Sunday but not sure I'll manage past the morning to be honest haha!

I caved and did another FRER this morning, BFN 😔I have started with some heartburn and some more cramping in my stomach this morning. Also a sore throat. Im guessing these symptoms are all in my head now but im hoping it is still just too soon for my BFP. AF is still 5 days away....

Did you use a different brand pregnancy test?

@jadeyjade8 I know it's hard but try to wait until your period is due to test again - it could be too early to get a bfp or any symptoms. x

Yes. I have used boots early tests and FRER. I feel like each one I have done has had the faintest line but they all look grey so im guessing evaps. You can't see them on photos they are that faint. And if the one I had the other day was a positive it should be darker by now. Hoping it's still just too early xx

I'm trying my best, it's just so hard when the tests are just sat there looking at you haha! Xx

@jadeyjade8 I've actually got my partner to hide the tests from me this month 😂 I've said to let me have them back on 22nd which is when AF is due. So hard not to test, it's like an obsession!

Oh what a great idea! Im going to do the same haha! Is it just me or do you ever go for a wee during the tww and you have held it for a while and once you have done it you think "what a waste of a strong wee, that could have been the one" 😂

@jadeyjade8 yes I do that too! 😂 My OH thinks I'm crazy, how hard can it be to wait until AF due?! Very very hard!! 🤣 had abdominal cramps yesterday and this morning, and a very light pink cm.. hoping this is a good sign, still 6 days til AF due

Im so glad it isnt just me haha!! yes im sure mine thinks i am losing the plot too!😂Oh that sounds promising! I havent had any spotting, just cramping. I keep going for a wee every hour or so hoping to see some implantation bleeding😂

@jadeyjade8 This is honestly like torture every month 😂 do you mind me asking, is this your first pregnancy? Both times I've tested positive I've just known a couple of days before AF due. Can't even describe the feeling.

10dpo now, done 2 tests today and both BFN :(. How are you feeling? X

@jadeyjade8 sorry for the late reply.. I've been really ill! At first it was tonsillitis but then turned to quinsey, so I spent yesterday in a&e. Feeling loads better now though! Nausea may have been down to that unfortunately.
Still pretty early to test so I wouldn't worry at this point, I know some people don't test positive til their due on, or even later 😊

@jadeyjade8 I caved and tested this morning, BFN! Like you, hoping it's too early! I have no self control 😂
