[Hrps]

It's very early days but I suspect there are some new BFP's meaning we'd be due in February. I'm 4 weeks today so super early. Anyone with me? Has anyone got any early pregnancy symptoms?

Happy Monday all! I was working on a running event all weekend, camping in a biblical thunderstorm, working 19hrs on Saturday alone, and I am absolutely knackered! Today is a day for little walks and naps 😂

Today I'm grateful to make it into the 6th week. One step closer to a pregnancy that ends in a baby!

Now I have officially missed my period, I will add myself to the list! This is why you should wait to a missed period before testing - I am 4 weeks today and feel like I’ve known about this pregnancy for 6 weeks already😂

Has anyone phoned to book in for their first appointment/scan date yet?

Can I join?

Currently 5w+5days very unexpected surprise bfp last Monday, not quite got my head around it yet. Flo is saying expected due date is 15th feb.

How are you all feeling?

Just heard back, my numbers have more than tripled! They're mow 65 🥰 still quite low but Dr said she's just looking at how they progress and not the actual number as much.

how far are your predicted to be ?

@mumtotwox I've organised my booking appointment - I'll be 10 weeks then (19 July). Going to book a private scan next week for reassurance too, but that will be private.

@Pinkmoon23 that's great news - and totally true, they look at the progression as the biggest indicator.

Got my booking app end of the month so I'll be 8 weeks.
Private scan booked for this weekend 🤞🏽

I filled in the midwife self refer form. I weirdly have my 12 week scan date for start of Aug, but no booking appointment yet. I will book a private scan for in a few days though - not sure whether to go for six weeks this week, or seven weeks next week.

Hi everyone, hope it's okay to join! I got an unexpected BFP yesterday. Was waiting for AF to return after a MC 9 weeks ago. I have no idea how far along I am but symptoms are pretty strong. Not going to allow myself to get excited after last time but really hoping it works out x

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 when I spoke to the local private clinic they advised to wait until I was in week 7 as you'll be able to see a lot more, and the measurements etc. get a bit more accurate. 6 weeks bub is only the size of a lentil but by week 7 it's more like a blueberry :)

My scan is week 7 - I resisted in hope of seeing more but I've been tempted to move it forward so many times!

Hi everyone, I've got such bad back pain and think I've also got thrush, oh the joys. Been at the doctors this morning. My booking in appointment is next Tuesday when I'll be 8 weeks, really hope I make it as I didn't last time. Really struggling with whether or not to get an early scan! 🤔

I have booked a doctors appointment today to check about whether my medication is safe in pregnancy, and I also want to ask for blood tests to check iron, hcg and progesterone. I think they'll probably say no to progesterone. After my miscarriage last time I'm so worried about things going wrong so I feel like I need to ask for as much information and support as possible. I've had very low iron and anaemia in previous pregnancies, and in general, so definitely want that checked.

I have my booking appointment on 7 July. Not going to get a private scan this time as I don't think it would reassure me, we had a positive early scan last time then miscarriage happened shortly afterwards. I'm nervous of any scans to be honest but will just wait for the 12 week one. Not sure yet when it will be, I think it will be scheduled after booking appointment.

@Hankthehonk I feel you on being nervous after miscarriage. I had a missed miscarriage discovered at a scan at 10+4 - I'm going for 2-3 private scans before 12 weeks purely because if something has gone wrong I'd rather know sooner than later (I had a perfectly healthy 7 week scan from that pregnancy too, so I know that doesn't mean it'll all be ok moving forward, but I can at least check it's ok at that moment in time).

I'm terrified of going for a scan but I think I'd be worse off if I got to 12 weeks to discover a missed miscarriage that could have been found earlier. This whole process is a stressful emotional rollercoaster isn't it!

@Hankthehonk I totally get where you are coming from re having an early scan that's kind of my attitude too.

@moosey89 I'm sorry for your loss. Sounds like we're in the same boat with stress about scans etc. Not sure there's a right or wrong. Totally understand your perspective about wanting information early if you can.

We saw a heartbeat at the scan at 7w5d, bleeding started that night but I put it down to it being an internal scan which can cause spotting. However it kept getting worse and the miscarriage was over 5 days later.
I know it's irrational and the scan will not have caused the mc but I REALLY don't want an internal scan again because it's connected in my mind. So I definitely want to wait until it's hopefully big enough to see externally.

I had a weird long cycle, last period dates put me almost 3 weeks more pregnant than I know I actually am, so my 12 week scan might actually be at more like 10 weeks.

Sorry about your loss but very glad to have you here with us. My sis in law had a m/c last year, fell pregnant two months after and baby was born this year :)

@moosey89 I think I'm with you on your approach on scans, I just want to know sooner if something goes wrong. But I think I'll just book one at seven weeks, and then the nipt at eleven weeks

I've got as far as filling in the self referral. I'm going to try to book a private scan for 8 weeks more due to logistics than anything else.
