@midnights0 on the browser I think you have to go to ‘threads your following’, scroll to this one and there’s three dots on the right. You can click ‘unfollow’ and ‘remove’.

xx

@midnights0 i'm so so sorry, I know the feeling as i've gone through a mc. Please take care of yourself. sending love xx

wannabemum38 · 12/06/2023 16:53

@midnights0 so so sorry to hear that. All best wishes and thoughts with you x

Nclktnntt · 12/06/2023 17:52

@midnights0 I am so so Sorry. Thinking of you. Look after your self.

If you're on the app, go to your watched and swipe to select unwatch. This won't stop the messages your tagged in though. I didn't want my emails flooded (which they were being) and found the app only part stops emails, to fully stop/control exactly which ones you get, go to the web version of Mumsnet and in notification setting you can choose exactly what emails and push notifications you get.

Take care x

Thank you everyone for you wishes 🥺 sorrry but how do I unfollow or leave a thread? I’m clueless! I keep getting emails

I'm so sorry you're having to go through this, I went through it last year, and it's absolutely heartbreaking. Be kind to yourself, and look after you, thinking of you.

Justanothercyster · 12/06/2023 19:18

I'm so sorry Midnights. I won't tag as I've read that you want to leave but I couldn't read and leave without saying how sorry I am 💔

I second having a winter newborn, was so much nicer for breastfeeding and getting all snuggly. I'd hate that in this heat 🥵

@Justanothercyster my first is a winter baby too, was much easier to cope with. Didn't have to worry about them being too hot either. My friend is due on Thursday and I feel sorry for her, can't imagine labouring in this heat

I’ve been a bit quiet on here, however I’ve been on maternity ward today as I couldn’t find babies heartbeat on my doppler and neither could doctor when I went to doctors today, I’m 12+1, I’ve had no trouble finding babies heartbeat before this and last heard it on Saturday, I have a scan tomorrow and just thinking the worst x

99SR · 12/06/2023 19:30

I’m looking forward to a Christmas baby but I’ve actually had a few of my friends saying “oh what a rubbish birthday for the baby” I think it’s so rude!! So I’m trying to focus on the pros lol

As hard as it is, try not to worry yourself until you've had your scan. Sending positive vibes to you x

I've had the same remarks, but just like you, I'm really looking forward to having a Christmas baby too

Charlielechat · 12/06/2023 20:04

Hope everything goes ok for you tomorrow @Mummy1502

Mummy1502 · 12/06/2023 20:10

Thankyou will update tomorrow x

RG84 · 12/06/2023 20:48

@Mummy1502 I hope all goes well and all the best for tomorrow. Its hard but stay positive.

17caterpillars1mouse · 12/06/2023 21:21

My dd2 is boxing day and the it is a rubbish birthday to have. The first two years she was just overwhelmed like 'not this again' and the last two she has been better but finds it such a long wait for presents without Christmas in between to break it up. It is what it is though and can't be changed. Plus she learnt to say when he birthday is very early as rather than learning a date she just says 'boxing day'

SurferAnna · 12/06/2023 22:00

Hiya all,

I've been following this thread the beginning but haven't posted in months!

I'm due on my birthday, 20th December, and I've always absolutely loved having a Christmas birthday! Everyone is in a jolly mood, some people get extra time off work, all the sparkly dresses and Christmas outfits are all around. It's magical, and our babies are going to get that too!

This really is the best time to be due, as previous post previously said, when we're due it'll be all big jumpers and cosy days. And it's a lot easier to warm up, than it is to cool down!

I had my 12 week scan last week, and it confirmed twins 😅

99SR · 12/06/2023 22:04

@SurferAnna wow, twins! Congratulations! I’m glad you enjoy having a December birthday as all of our babies will have one too lol! My partner said we could have a half birthday celebration with them where we take them out for the day in June or something!

@Mummy1502 oh no, try to stay positive! I hope everything goes ok tomorrow🩷

wannabemum38 · 12/06/2023 22:08

@Mummy1502 good luck tomorrow.
I'm off to the EPU tomorrow as still getting cramps on and off and cos of my history said to come in to be assessed. More than likely ligament pain she said but still insisted I go in so can't help but worry even more. Still so anxious all the time and now we have told everyone makes me nervous it's all going to go pear shaped.

99SR · 12/06/2023 22:12

@wannabemum38 i keep getting cramps too. Well it’s like of like a bit of pain/discomfort at either side and seems to be worse after a full on day at work. So assuming it’s pelvic pain or ligament pain?

wannabemum38 · 12/06/2023 22:15

@99SR that's what people keep telling me! Mine is sometimes one side and a lot of the time underneath the bump. Just hope that's the case for me so scared even though its not a sharp pain and there's no bleeding but can't help fear the worst

Mummy1502 · 12/06/2023 22:22

@wannabemum38 thats how I feel, we have told everyone too, I really can’t bare the thought of having to tell people it’s over x

Mummy1502 · 12/06/2023 22:23

@wannabemum38 good luck to you too, I’m so scared, as if baby has no heartbeat then this would mean a missed miscarriage? As I’ve got no bleeding etc, still have symptoms, baby had a heartbeat on Saturday so I’m beating myself up thinking what’s gone wrong? X

Georgia31 · 13/06/2023 13:00

@Mummy1502 I hope everything goes OK for you today

Mummy1502 · 13/06/2023 13:40

Sadly it’s what I expected, baby’s heart had stopped beating, I’m heartbroken x
